This is a basic pension but is ideal if you aren’t looking for hotel standards. Easy, helpful and friendly check in, great location, and exactly as described
Nothing, exactly as described

This was the worst hotel, in which I ever slept. It is very very very dirty, there is dust everywhere, the walls are all dirty, in the bathroom the boiler is very unsafe - I felt it could explode at any moment.
But most importantly, I could not sleep the whole night because you could not close the door of the balcony that gets on the road. I would definitely not recommend this place even to my worst enemy !

Very clean. Good location. Nice helpful staff
The place needs some money spent on it. Fix the locks for the doors! Bathroom door lock also needs fixing.

we love the fact that the accommodations were on the old town thoroughfare, as we love to watch people stroll up and down the streets. We were also in the mood for some untraditional food at the time of our stay and found a nice little Mexican restaurant, an Irish pub, as well as a German restaurant where we could expand our pallets!
wi-Fi in our room was nonexistent, despite the staff telling us what should’ve been our Wi-Fi device and password. A little frustrating when we are trying to lock down accommodations for our Camino for the next couple days. The building where our rooms were is very old; the door locks to get into our rooms are also very old and took son finesse to get the doors unlocked. So much so, that we had to ask the staff to help us through one door. This should be an easy maintenance item for a hotel with so many accommodations.

did not feel clean

The room was perfectly clean and we really liked the bathroom. As well as stuff was very kind and helped us to keep the luggage there after check-out so we can comfortly stay in the city without load.
There was no window in the room. But white color and lights were perfect and helped.

I managed to sleep despite the disco
The receptionist did not have my booking and said there was no room available. I had showed him the booking form i printed off but he said it wasn't correct! Eventually he took the booking number from the form and tried to say I wasn't in the system. As I could see the screen I pointed to my name!
He then hummed and ha'd about "no rooms" and then found a room with four single beds but a shared bathroom!"
The four single bedded room had no hanging space, no waste paper basket and only a three drawer bedside table! The was an open door to a shared balcony. Brute force was used to close it!
I stayed three weeks previously and thought good value for money. This has changed my mind

Good location. Clean bathroom.
Staff very disorganized. Beds were old. Walls thin. Keys were questionable. Doors stuck

The reception was across the street in a different hotel but the staff were excellent. The hotel stairs had a slope to the right of about ten degrees! It is a very old hotel and I like Quirky! The room was clean and good - six power points for a bonus. The bathroom sink didn't have a plug but the supplied plastic cup fitted perfectly.
A five minute walk brought me to my favourite tapas bar near the Plaza Mayor and parking below Plaza Mayor was 15-90€ for 24 hours, and YES i would happily stay there again
I could have been asked to check in at the other hotel but not too much trouble.

The location. Close to everything nice in Burgos. Situated on the camino.
Can be noisy due to the pub downstairs because some rooms are facing the back of the building, where the terrace of the Munchen bar is. And the other guests coming in, however this is to be expected, certainly in high season when you book a pension with shared rooms too in an old wooden building. So it is not a complaint.

Staff were friendly
Great big desk in the bathroom, couldn't shut the door. Room right next to an Irish Pub, so noisy till late. No reception at the pension, so waited for ages until someone told us we needed to go across the street.

The location was great.
We rented two rooms with 8 beds for 9 people and stayed for two nights. A whole section was just for us. The property was dirty and when I requested the shared bathroom to be cleaned I dealt with hesitation and excuses. The second night we were there The owner barged, did not knock, into our room yelling and storming through our sleeping quarters. When this happened, half of us were in bed and the rest were doing their own thing not to disturb the others. The intrusive man was yelling at me as if I was his child about a noise complaint. He was disrespectful and rude. It had gotten so ugly that one of the men got up out of bed and was gonna physically remove him from our area and we were gonna call the police. I believe the true reason for him coming up angrily was that the 1st night we paid 25 euros per bed and the second night I found the same beds for 15 euros per night on booking.com. So I got them on-line and saved us money. The owner is a miserable little man and I will not be surprised if he gets his teeth knocked in one day for being so darn disrespectful!

The room was big enough and we just stayed a few hours but we loved the design of the place.
Staying more time it was just 5 or 6 hours

Good location.
No facilities to wash clothes, just a laundry service with a minimum €12 charge.
Only one key per hostel room, which meant dropping it of and collecting from hotel across the street.
Very, very basic. I've paid less for far better hostels, wouldn't use it again....!
