Everything, right from the second we checked in the landlord was cheerful, helpful and full of upbeat crack. Really helped to make us feel at home, which was great as I'm a bit socially reclusive and worried about staying in a guesthouse rather than an anonymous travel lodge, but I needn't have bothered. The whole stay felt like being at an old mates place. The landlord was always full of interesting crack and gave some stellar tips for future travels.
The room itself was bigger than I expected. The bed was massive and comfy. Everything was impeccably clean and cosy - massive tv in the room and a decent sized kettle (all the little niggles from other hotels nicely ironed out here).
Really great to be greeted by a happy chap in an AC/DC shirt who continued to be nothing but incredibly helpful the whole stay.
Location was fantastic, breakfast was great, the place is really interestingly decorated and feels like a home rather than a hotel.
Couldn't recommend this place any higher. If you're into music, rambling about or Jaws, then stay here just for the crack. If you're not, then stay here because it's a lovely little guest house in a great location with a great breakfast and priced well below what it's worth!
If we ever come back to Bridlington, we wouldn't think of staying anywhere else! Thanks Pip :)
Nothing, could have stayed a week and been happy.

No hairdryer in room and wouldn't mind a couple of biscuits with the coffee.
But nothing else really these are just suggestions !

Breakfast was lovely
The room was cute, but just about impossible to move in, no way could we have got 2 cases in the room.,we had to move the case off the green stool and put it on the floor at the door each night, kept hitting the bench when going to the toilet thru the night,

good communication from pip the owner, had a parking space outside, met by pips son who politely showed us to a nice clean compact room , breakfast was fantastic, cooked superbly by pip , nothing was too much trouble

An absolute great find, I stayed here for 2 nights, I stayed in the single room which had everything I needed. TV, wifi access, kettle, comfy bed and a brilliant view of the sea. Although the bathroom is separate, it's private and located next to the room (never let this put you off!!)
The whole place was spotlessly clean and the breakfast was delicious. Pip was a great host and I will definitely stay here again.
It's located within a 5 min walk to the sea and about 10 mins to the harbour

I thought the shower was a little difficult to get in to. The doors did not open far enough for the larger person.
