Quiet, clean, comfortable, welcoming

Exceptionally welcoming host team, clean, spacious and quiet room, comfy bed, amazing breakfast, good internet connection. A huge bonus for me was a running course with an amazing mountain views along the newly constructed road nearby.

The staff in the reception I didn’t like them , the room that I stayed in was very hot because they have problems in the air conditioner I call them many time to open it and they do but just for 10 minutes and it’s return off again . the normal thing that they must do it is that they moved us to another room, but they did not. also there wasn’t a shampoo and conditioner

We were supposed to have the suite with balcony, but there was no balcony: the explanation was that a big group had booked and they were given the suite with balcony (...). The breakfast is really below average and the hotel run out of cups one morning, so we drank our coffee from glasses. The pool's water was really cold. The location is terrible, somewhere nowhere. On Friday and Saturday evening, two concerts were held in the hall, so until 23.30 it was really loud.

We chose this hotel as an overnight stop between Cappadoccia and Instanbul. We arrived on a Sunday. The facilities were lovely, the buffet dinner was an expansive choice of meat and vegetarian dishes, and it was all you could eat. Housekeeping was efficient and fresh water was replenshished.

When we arrived it was immediately apparent that some kind of wedding or engagement party was about to start in the dining area next to the buffet cafeteria. The party started about 9 and ended about 1. The music was FABULOUS! But since our room was directly above the party it did interfere with out sleep. All in all, not a restful night. I'm sure this review would have been more positive had we been invited to the party! It also would have been more restful had not some of the revelers not restarted the party at 0130 in the room immediately next to hours. Fortunately I was able to block them out with noise cancelling earbuds, buy my partner wasn't, so she got very little sleep. We related this story a few days later to a woman we met on a dinner tour in Istabul and she laughed and said, "I always ask a hotel if they have a party scheduled for the night I want to stay there!" Sound advice we will now follow in the future! I advise you do the same since the Karpalas is clearly a popular party venue -- they were setting up for another one when we went down for breakfast in the morning.
