This fabulous villa is set high up in the prestigious Belmont Estate in the West End of Tortola British Virgin Islands.
Limeberry House it is a designers dream with bright colors, Mexican tile, sun and moon sinks that wake you up even if you have been partying late at Bomba’s full moon shack! The West Indian style Villa nestles into the contours or the land, with bedrooms set in separate cottages maintaining maximum privacy. All bedrooms are air-conditioned.
The house welcomes you with an open, airy feeling, the covered dining area which is the focal point of the house boasts an open plan gourmet kitchen, so no one is left out of the entertaining. An induction stove, stainless steel ice-making refrigerator and a dishwasher, complete this a gourmet kitchen.
A short flight of steps brings you to Papaya and Vanilla suites. Papaya has its own private deck, complete with a tree growing through it and outside shower, all positioned to catch the cooling breezes of the Caribbean.
Spectacular turquoise infinity pool offers breathtaking views over Long Bay and the Palm Grove, or with superb sunsets over Smuggler's Cove. Use the cocktail seat in the pool so you can watch the sun go down while sipping a rum punch.
To the west of the house there is also a deck for alfresco dinning with a built in stainless steel BBQ stove. Here on fine evenings you can dine under the stars.

My boyfriend and I stayed a week at Limeberry Villa with 3 other couples. It was the perfect setup for couples traveling together as each bedroom had an ensuite bath and was in separate entrances/buildings with a locked door. We could all have privacy when we wanted and we had plenty of room to gather together in the common areas.
Communication was excellent with Jonathan before we arrived and with Jude during our stay.
The house was extremely clean and the housekeeper came mid-week to change bed linens and clean as needed. There were plenty of beach towels and bath towels for our group of 8 to use. We also had access to 2 washers/dryers.
All 4 bedrooms have great air conditioning. You should be careful not to leave food out in the open air kitchen as we did seem to have what we thought were chickens getting into the bread a couple of nights.
One night the power went out but the generator came on immediately and ran the whole house without interruption.
Jude recommended takeout from D Coal Pot on our first night and was kind enough to pick it up for us. We also had groceries delivered from Riteway and he coordinated with them for delivery.
Ice chests were provided. My only criticism would be that we had 8 guests but could only find beach chairs for 5 people. Although I'm sure if we had asked Jude, he would have arranged for more for us.
We loved this house and would not hesitate to stay here again if we come back to Tortola.

Travelling with family is always fun and the layout and location of Limeberry Villa enhanced the experience. The pictures online are spot on. The villa is broken into four separate sleeping areas, which gave each couple plenty of privacy, while the common areas were open and allowed plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the views. The pool was picture perfect for a morning dip or a refreshing swim after the beach. The villa is well appointed, and we had everything we needed. Check in and out were smooth experiences and communicating with the host and property manager (Jonathan and Jube) was easy. Hope to return again when we visit Tortola.

Jon (owner) and Jude (manager) were absolutely amazing. Responsive from beginning to end. They made sure we were comfortable and provided us with all the necessary information needed for a great stay! They even came to check on us after a brief power outage.
This property is located on the West End of Tortola and overlooks Long Bay and Smuggler's Cove. The views are outstanding and the location is much quieter than the other end of the island. There are 4 separate bedrooms with king beds and bathrooms. One of the bedrooms has an outside shower. The center of the property is the open air area for the kitchen, dining room, and living room with TV and bluetooth radio. Coming out of the air conditioned bedrooms to overlook the beautiful ocean neighboring islands was stunning. When we were in the villa we spent a lot of time in the gorgeous infinity pool.
Shampoo/conditioner, body wash, coffee, sugar, filtered water, saran wrap, foil, napkins, utensils, wine opener etc. all there. The only thing we really had to buy was coffee creamer and filters. Besides a coffee maker, there is a french press, grinder and a blender.
They do warn you about the bugs, especially after the rain. There is bug spray (and sun lotion) that is probably leftover from other guests, but good idea to bring some and spray around the perimeter. We did encounter bees in the bushes, but really didn't have a major problem.
Highly recommended! You won't be disappointed! Thank you both!

Property manager was easy to contact, communicated well, and was pleasant to deal with.
The property itself was beautiful, everything worked well. This was a great place for us to relax before we all went on excursions. Would recommend to anyone looking for a remote place to just enjoy the natural beauty and property.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Limeberry! We only had three nights on Tortola before taking off on a sailboat trip, we wish we had stayed at the villa longer. After a long day of traveling, we finally arrived at the house. It was dark out when we arrived, and the house was so inviting. We came through the gate, and down the stairs and were blown away by the open air feel, the colors, the decor and the layout of this magical villa. Our wonderful property manager, Jude escorted us to the house, helped carry in all of our bags and get them set in our rooms, showed us around and made us feel very comfortable and at home. We were all exhausted and didn’t feel like jumping back in the car and driving to dinner. Jude saved the day by picking up dinner for us at a delicious local restaurant called Da Cole Pot. We couldn’t have been happier. Jude was an amazing host and took care of all of our needs. He was very kind and made our stay so comfortable and enjoying. Each of us had our own private cottage within the villa and the common areas were comfortable and inviting. When we woke up the first morning, it was a beautiful sunny day and the views were mind blowing! None of us had ever stayed in a place quite like Limeberry before - Open air living, sweeping views, cozy cottages, and nestled in the hills close enough to the Ocean that we could hear the surf. I could go on and on. Take me back!

Limeberry Villa was a fantastic place to retreat and reconnect on our wedding anniversary. Jonathan and Jude communicated really well in the days leading up to our arrival. Jude met us despite our late arrival and guided us up the road to the villa, where he gave a friendly orientation to the place before making himself available for any needs during our stay. The villa is very well supplied, quiet, and beautiful. It was easy to stare out over the hills, ocean, and nearby islands. The sunsets are gorgeous. The pool was large, in at least partial shade throughout the day, and very comfortable -- a real treat when the temperature went up and breeze got still. Checkout was really simple. We hope to return someday.

Stayed 5 nights with our family of four. Can’t say enough amazing things about this villa! Super clean, so comfortable and well decorated, amazing views, and awesome hosts. We had been to Tortola before on a cruise stop, but this was our first time to stay on the island overnight. It was fantastic! The house was just as pictured in the listing- even better! The host was great in communicating. Numerous little things made it even better- such as beach chairs for use. Admittedly, Tortola is not for the faint of heart in terms of getting around as the roads are a bit treacherous. But we knew this going in and made sure we planned accordingly. Overall, a great island and great accommodation. We are already planning to go back.

My husband and I loved our stay in Tortola. Jon and Jude responded nearly immediately to all questions and even checked in on us during the stay. The villa is gorgeous with amazing views. The only problem was that the road up to the villa is narrow with exceptionally high speed bumps (you have to have a jeep or something with high clearance or unload the car at every speed bump to avoid scraping...we had an HRV...it was not high enough). Two of our party were unable to walk the road up/down so the beach was not in walking distance from all and there is no side of the road so not the safest walk. However, the local drivers go fairly slowly for most of it and are the most courteous drivers I've ever encountered. Sadly, the same cannot be said about the tourists (who are the majority of the drivers on that hill). The takeaway is that the villa is breathtaking (5 stars) and Jon & Jude and the best hosts and also deserve five stars, just be prepared for the hill/road/speed bumps and the remoteness (we loved it, but the same cannot be said for all in our party).

The Villa is fantastic. The views are Amazing. The Villa had four spacious en-suite bedrooms which were very private. Dinners on the open air dining tables -you have a choice of three, all had great views, a breeze or a ceiling fan. We had a fantastic time and would absolutely stay here again!!

The house was perfect and extremely comfortable for a family of 8 adults. We had plenty of space and the view was spectacular. The walk to smugglers cove was approx. 15 mins and a beautiful walk. The house as perfect, had everything we needed and was decorated for Christmas. I would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Our stay was fantastic. We arrived to Tortola early in the morning and was met at the ferry dock by Jon and Jude. Our villa was not available yet but they were so gracious to allow us to have access to another property while we waited. Our villa was awesome. I do not think we could have had a better time than we did. I highly recommend this villa.

We just got back from an 8 day stay at Limeberry Villa, and it was fantastic. Jon (owner) was very helpful on the front end answering all our questions about the property, and with suggestions and recommendations for grocery shopping and restaurants. House is exactly as shown and described - very clean, comfortable, well maintained and thoughtfully appointed. The views and location are incredible. My wife and I brought our 4 children (ages 10-15) and my mom along, and the space worked great for us. Even though it was July, the breeze kept the open spaces very comfortable for everyone. The linens, towels and beds were also great. Honestly couldn’t have asked for a better vacation, and already hoping to return soon.
The West End of Tortola is a peaceful place overall, and even through Smugglers Cove is considered one of the best beaches on the island, there were never many folks there and some afternoons we had the beach almost to ourselves. There are also great dining options nearby, and a pretty well equipped grocery a few minutes away in Sopers hole.
The property owner’s assistant was also incredibly helpful during our stay and checked in on us periodically to make sure everything was okay. We’d definitely recommend this property to our friends and family.

The property was so much better than the pictures depicted. We had a wonderful and very memorable experience. The open air setting for the common space was quite comfortable based upon the location of the villa. The airconditioned bedroom suites were a welcome respite at the end of each day. We highly recommend this property as a place to kick back and enjoy your time on western Tortola.

The views from the property were incredibly beautiful. Great view of Jost and other islands. It was a relatively short, but steep walk down the hill to 2 beaches and a few restaurants. Everything was amazing. The place was much more beautiful than the pictures. We did not rent a car, and walked to different places, such as Long Beach and Soper’s Hole Marina, where we could pick up provisions (but we enjoy walking). Making dinner and sitting on the veranda was awesome and such an open airy place. Bedrooms were comfortable and great views as well. Would definitely book there again!

The view is amazing. The attention to detail in the Kitchen was awesome. All you need to get started. The overview on local services was perfect. JUDE was awesome. We were nearly 1 hr late to meet him so we could follow him to the house (his suggestion since the roads are difficult at night). He was so kind and helpful. Truly awesome. Open air living areas allowed us to immerse ourselves in the beautiful natural environment. The air cinditioned bedrooms are beautifully appointed and very comfortable. Our booking was simple and we met with the owners assistant Jude whom guided us to the property. Walking down the steps into the gorgeous landscape with flowers, bushes and trees on both sides was very inviting. The open living space throughout the kitchen, and dining spaces were beautifully kept and clean. Each bedroom was secure with keypad and had climate control which made them very comfortable. Rooms were spacious with closets, dressers & beautiful bath/shower areas. The master bedroom had a large wrap around deck with beautiful wicker furniture. The kitchen was stocked with all that was needed. There is a separate laundry area & bathroom with 2 washers & dryers. Gorgeous views from the pool, kitchen, grilling area, and bedrooms overlooking the landscape and to the ocean. We had a cleaning lady stop by once to clean. She had made the bed, but did not wash bedding. Some towels were washed and left in dryers and counters were wiped down. On a side note: we did have some creatures that I would have liked to avoid, but my amazing husband had taken care of them (not lizards). By the end of the stay I did have several little lizard friends which all had names and would welcome us daily. If you had any questions or concerns Jude was just a phone call away to answer any questions. I highly recommend a 4WD vehicle to get around the island. This property is close to the West end ferry and a short drive to Smugglers Cove & Long Bay. You will want a good bug spray with deet for the evenings at home and at the beaches. It took us about 45 min to drive to Beef Island airport which is the other side of the island. I recommend getting out and seeing all that Tortola offers. Everyone is very welcoming and it is important to support the islands businesses. When we did stay home - we enjoyed the pool, views of the ocean, and romantic dinners. This home offers so much privacy and tranquility. The pool was our favorite spot no matter what time of day it was. We truly LOVED our 10 night stay and would love to return with our entire family. So until next time......

As hoped for....and more.
This property is stunning and makes you feel at home in no time (strangely since it is sooo different than home). The view is amazing. The property managers Jonathan and Jude are excellent and ultra responsive. They went above and beyond for us, in terms of communication and assistance with details of the trip that were not even related to the property rental (eg. rental car, grocery, recommendations).
A couple things that you need to know:
1. the roads on the island (and to this house) are incredibly steep (sometimes perilous for those not used to them) and someone in your party must feel confident in their driving skills. For locals, the mountain roads are no big deal. Renting a vehicle with four wheel drive is helpful to have at times if you will be doing some exploring.
2. The shared areas of this house are open air. For us, this was wonderful. Having a breeze come through the living room was always welcomed, even if it occasionally stirred up the playing cards. All areas of the house were incredibly clean. You will see the occasional tiny lizard run through which we thought was very cool. Our kids loved having them around.
3. the infinity pool is bigger than it appears in the photos, which was a welcomed surprise. It was absolutely amazing swimming on the edge of the hillside - very dramatic.
Two thumbs up for this VRBO - we had a memorable time on Tortola and it all started with having this beautiful villa as our home base. Thanks Jonathan and Jude, you guys are the best hosts I've had on VRBO.

Winding down at the villa!
The villa provided the perfect place for us to relax and wind down before we set sail on our trip! Jonathan was an excellent host, the house was spacious and the views were spectacular! As always, having a four wheel vehicle on the island was a necessity; Jerry's car rental was great for that. Cheers to Tortola!

25 Year Anniversary Trip Made Perfect
This place is perfect. It is extremely spacious and each room is it’s own little cottage. This is great for couples or families. Every bit of detail to this villa was carefully planned out and the views are pronominal . Oh, and you can see the stars clearly at night. Jude took great care of us and helped us with our luggage. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the BVI’s.

WONDERFUL villa and AWESOME host
Traveled to the BVI for a sail charter and stayed 6 nights here to fulfill our quarantine period. Fortunately just before we arrive they dropped the the 4 day test so once we all received our negative day 1 test we were free to move about.
Our stay in Limeberry could not have been better. The villa is gorgeous, more than comfortable, and it's host Jon, is fabulous.
He made sure we were settled in and offered his assistance to assure that our stay would be enjoyable and memorable (especially during these usual Covid times). One could not have asked for a better host to work with. Jon, thank you again for all the extra help you offered while planning and staying in your beautiful villa. Hope to return.

Private Oasis
The property is absolutely beautiful. A small group of us stayed here prior to a catamaran vacation. The property was perfect for our needs. The owner and the manager were fantastic, they went above and beyond to assist us. They made excellent recommendations on which companies to do business with. The Villa is very well equipped, just bring clothes and food! We would stay here in the future.

Wonderful stay!
This is a beautiful property in the lush green hills of Belmont. The view is the best we have experienced in the Caribbean. The kitchen, dining table and sitting room are open to the outdoors allowing great views from every room. Mosquitoes were not a problem as long as we applied bug spray a couple times per day. All bedrooms had air conditioning and large comfortable beds. The owner, Jon, was a pleasure to deal with and very welcoming and responsive during our visit. The best beach in Tortola, Smugglers Cove, is a 15 min walk or 5 min drive away.

Our stay at this villa and visit to the BVI rates at the top of our adventures. Jon and Pinkie were most helpful. Several small issues came up and were resolve quickly. Bring your bug spray to manage the mosquitos. Views are amazing and there is plenty of room for 8 people with complete privacy in each en-suite bedroom. The kitchen and common areas are open air. Our grand daughter called it “the inside outside house.” It’s “glamping” at its finest!
I would HIGHLY recommend dining at BananbaKeey Restaurant. The views were breath taking and the food was delicious.
We chartered a catamaran for a day with Adventure Charters. We snorkeled in many lovely areas with clear water, abundant tropical fish, sea fans, and coral.
The BVI and Limeberry Villa is a true island experience. The locals are friendly and helpful. The island of Tortola is not commercialized. No fast food franchises, no slick shopping malls. Just true beauty with each dawn. We will remember this experience for the rest of our lives.
