About this villa rental
The beach house is a unique property on St. Thomas. If you're looking for privacy, the beach house is the place for you. This magnificent property is located 40 feet above sea level on three acres with 700 feet of shoreline, where a wooden stairway leads you to a small, completely secluded beach.
When calm, snorkeling and diving are some of the most pristine on the island. When the seas are rough, you can enjoy a dip in the hot tub or bask in the warmth on the huge deck while watching and enjoying the surf. Perfect oceanfront living!
The beach house is the perfect place to have your wedding, write a book, paint a seascape, or simply relax and enjoy an incredible, fun family vacation.
The beach house consists of a main house with two bedrooms and a quaint three-bedroom detached cottage.
Proximity to fun things to do: to visit beautiful Magen's Bay is a 20-minute drive
To reach the east end of st. Thomas and the ferry boats to St. John are about a 30-35 minute drive.
Downtown shopping is only 15-20 minutes.
Weddings, parties, or large gatherings may be allowed with prior written approval: the beach house will accommodate up to 50 people. All tables, flatware, china, dishes, and glassware for the event must be rented or provided by your caterer. All caterers must be approved in advance. We must have details of all plans well in advance of the event, including wedding personnel and/or catering persons who will be at the villa for your function. Guests will be held completely responsible for any damages or missing items. They will be charged if their caterer/chef does not complete a full clean-up of the property inside and outside, including removing all trash from the villa property. There is a $1,000 fully refundable deposit for weddings or parties. We do not rent to locals.
Cancellations: if you cancel more than 45 days before your arrival date, 80% of your total deposit and advanced payment will be refunded, and 20% will be retained as liquidation damages. If you cancel within 45 days of the arrival date, you will forfeit the full advance payment and damage/reservation deposit. Early departure does not warrant any refund of rent or deposit. If we are able to rebook the villa to another guest, 80% of your rental monies will be returned to you for the nights booked.

The most amazing part was the beach access. It was great to go down to the water for an hour or two everyday and walk back up. There was plenty of beach toys and gear for our use. We didn't have to pack up all our gear, park and fight for a spot at the popular beaches. The outdoor showers are wonderful! We were a group of 7 and it was nice everyone had their own space but could come together in the main house. We had an all wheel drive Kia Sorento with an experienced off- road driver and we managed the road just fine. An all wheel drive is necessary to navigate the road. The hot tub is perfect to watch the sunset. The balcony has amazing views and the house is secluded and quiet. The house manager Lisa was helpful with all our needs. There is a generator for the frequent power outages. It was an amazing vacation for everyone!!

This was an amazing experience! From beginning to end, this villa is one to strive for. This trip was to celebrate my wife's 60th birthday with all our family. We were met at the airport in St Thomas by the property manager, Ms. Pochette. She was very friendly and helpful in aquainting us with how to get to the villa and giving us a tour of all the amenities. The villa itself was very clean and well appointed with a lot of basic needs. They operate on an honor system of sorts. If you use something up, replace it. Good system! The private beach is the highlight of the property. Amazing snorkeling around beautiful coral formations and a variety of aquatic life: tropical fish, squid and, yes, even a possible shark. My wife and daughter encountered what we decided was a Reef Shark, but no problems. The view from the villa is amazing as well. Beautiful tropical vistas and crystal clear waters. This property is a must if you want the best of an island vacation. One other note though: be prepared for left hand driving and narrow, rough roads to the villa, but this only adds to the experience. Highly recommended!

The property and furnishing were terrific. Everything was first rate. There was nothing lacking, linens, electronics, dishes... all was splendid. (One exception -- the ice maker did not work). The outdoor shower was at first a little off putting, but it was just fine.after realizing that privacy was total.
Access to the property was another matter. To say access was difficult is a complete understatement. Given the location on the side of a mountain, it might not be surprising, but you really need to endure great fear in getting to the property. I have driven in difficult terrains, but this was the most over the top experience of my life.

We were very excited to celebrate our 50th anniversary with family on St. Thomas. The Beach House was the perfect place for this.
In planning the trip, our questions were fully answered in a timely manner. Their suggestions were welcomed and helpful.
When we arrived at the airport, Lisa, the house manager, met us and led us to the house. Given the narrow and rough roads on St. Thomas, this was critically helpful.
Perhaps one of the great attractions of the house is the beach on Mail Bay, only accessible from the cottage - ultimate privacy. In the boathouse by the beach, there are kayaks, snorkle gear, boogie boards, and more - perfect for exploring the reef and waters.
The house and cottage were great for our three-family group of nine. It has a quaint island vibe, yet equipped for modern living with all the amenities.
Every family had their own sleeping spaces, outdoor showers, and privacy.
The kitchen, recently renovated is fully equipped for meal prep.
There are three dining area, one inside and two on the deck. Also on the spacious deck are a variety of chairs for sun and relaxation.
Being in a tropical rainforest, the vegetation is lush and varied. We had daily visits from iguanas and anoles.
We were very happy to choose The Beach House for our dream vacation.

This place was gorgeous! The private beach was amazing! The house was huge and very clean! There was snorkeling gear, kayaks, nice tvs, beautiful patio, a kitchen with every appliance you can think of plus more. I regret not using the outdoor shower but my guests said that was one of their favorite parts of the house. There’s games, zacuzzi, and so much more. BUT the bugs are bad !! My guests got bit up every night all over, we’re praying it wasn’t bad bugs but we don’t think it is. The TVs in the main house didn’t work, except the one in the living room. The house manager kept giving us the wrong code for the door so it was hard to get in the house some days. The route to get to the house is very complicated because the roads is TERRIBLE! If you don’t have a truck YOU WILL damage your car. The LED lights to the zacuzzi wouldn’t cut off and the dish washer leaked a bit. But other then that I will see myself coming back! We liked it alot.

My family had an amazing stay at The Beach House!!!
The house has everything needed for an enjoyable stay and the owner and property manager went above and beyond to make sure my family was well taken care of from the moment we booked the house to the moment we left for the airport to go back home. The property manager even met us at the airport to escort us to the house.
The main house and detached cottage provided the 4 bedrooms needed and everyone with their own space and area to relax. The large outdoor patio area, dining, and family rooms provided plenty of space to hang out together.
We went out to eat often and also enjoyed cooking meals at the house. We appreciated the ability to have a kitchen filled with provisions when we arrived. The kitchen is well equipped (new espresso/coffee machine, dishwasher, oven, etc.) and stocked, and we also did some grilling.
Renting a Jeep is a MUST and incredibly fun! When not enjoying the amazing views from the house, hot tub, and private beach, we spent our days driving all over the island to explore, visiting several beaches, places to eat and shop, and took the car ferry over to St. John for a day.
My family and I highly recommended The Beach House and it has definitely earned a spot on my list of places my family would love to stay again.

The property was as advertised and had everything we needed and more. The beach and deck were amazing. The kitchen had everything to make meals at the house and enjoy the deck which we often did rather than going out. The island was beautiful but the property had so much to offer we often opted to stay at the house and enjoy it! It was a great vacation - thank you for sharing your home with us!

The Beach House was PERFECT for our sunset wedding and our immediate family. This place will remain in our hearts FOREVER!!! I even got to kayak to the other island during Tropical Storm Earl. BAD IDEA!

It was my mother’s first time flying, the hot tub, the kayaks, the fishing reels, snorkel gear, the location, the grills, the views, the amenities, two washers and two dryers, many showers, etc..
Our only complaint is that we wished we could’ve stayed here forever :( jkjk, not forever… we’ll definitely try and return at some point. A big thank you to Heidi and Lisa who made our arrival a VERY VERY special one! Also, a huuuuuge thank you to Josh and his private chef services who prepared such memorable meals for our family after the wedding reception on the balcony with such beautiful views. And last but not least . . . The Beach House!

The house managers were so wonderful to us, we had so many problems getting there with the flight cancellations they helped us out every way they could, we were so impressed they went above and beyound for us. The house was completely amazing we didnt want to leave, it was such a relaxing oasis all to ourselves. The house was fully stocked with everything you need and very clean. Family Retreat
Great for a family getaway. Property Managers were very nice and responded quickly to any questions or concerns. The hardest thing was getting to the property--roads are really bad, but the house and surroundings were great.

Dreamy private very special home
Very special private getaway…for my small dream wedding. Location is very private and you NEED 4WD. Not convenient to stores or restaurants & slow drive due to road conditions - (meet taxi @ 13 Restaurant) - but that is what makes it amazing!
2 buildings full of charm & character. Master in main house has double doors off living room & 1/2 bath. If you want more privacy - choose the Q downstairs cottage or Q downstairs main house.
Kitchen well equipped with glassware, plates, everything you need to cook. We rented these items for our small wedding dinner as well as tables & chairs & they brought them up & down the stairs. Extra refrigerator on covered patio. You’ll eat outside. Laundry with detergent if needed.
Smaller TV’s fyi & lots of stairs. Be prepared if you have lots of luggage. That’ the only negative.
The beach was very private with a shed-full of water toys if desired. Wonderful for our ceremony & days of relaxation. Beach towels provided.
Deck had plenty of seating & lounges as well as 2 dining tables. Our family could be together and separate at same time.
Owner & House Managers were very responsive - even provided a crib for my new grandbaby. We had Chef Josh cook dinner for our wedding & it was the best recommendation - Thank you Annette! If you can…get Chef Josh!!
Next time I would stay longer & have at least 1 days provisions stocked. Go to Cost-u-less on Day 1 for a weeks supply. Don’t forget you’ll have to carry it down stairs.
Best advice: BUG SPRAY! They are invisible & you won’t know they bit you until it’s too late. But every beach has this issue. There were no bugs inside.

Paradise
We were delighted to have spent the week enjoying this wonderful hidden gem. The property is carefully curated with many thoughtful touches. Perfect for a family vacation with three generations, we were able to accommodate ourselves, our children and our parents with comfort. The outdoor dining and showers were a highlight. The snorkeling is also top notch from the private beach. Can’t wait to come back.

Family Holiday Island Getaway
- Exactly as described. Will definitely return.
- The Beach House is very secluded and remote providing nights of endless star gazing with absolutely no light pollution. Make sure you find all of the light switches so you can gaze in total darkness. A Jeep is a must as the 10 minute back road drive to the house requires 4 wheel or all wheel drive
- Views of Mail bay and Brass Island are breathtaking. Each morning we would relax with a coffee to this view.
- Everything you need for snorkeling, beaching, and kayaking is provided. We used the gear for our beach hopping day on St John as well as snorkeling the reefs off your private beach.
- Layout is great for family with teens and adults. Main house section gave us the ability to be up and about without waking our family
- Make sure you plan a trip to the store OR leverage the services provided by management company. We had a chef come first night to avoid day one rushing around and fill the fridge with left overs for the week. Make a list of everything you need for time you plan to eat-in. There’s no “quick trip” to the store. Most spices are at the house as well as there is a stocked bar that you can use as long as you replace what you drink. So, first trip to store only requires mixers, wine and beer.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at the Beach House. The view was gorgeous, the house was clean, and it was equipped with all the necessary needs of a vacation home. Next time, I would rent a jeep, not a car. I love how the property is very private.

Best Location & House
We had the best time visiting St. Thomas for the first time! The house was an oasis & perfect! The house managers were great at communicating with us for all of our needs. Having the beach a staircase away was fantastic—snorkel gear, chairs & hammock. We ate every meal outside on the deck & it was great. You cannot beat the view from any spot in the house. All the amenities were great too—grill, hot tub, & blender. Definitely recommend getting a 4WD car, but it was worth the drive. Hoping to go back next year!

The best hospitality ever I definitely recommend this property .
My family had a wonderful experience. If I could do something different I would have taken advantage of the grocery service the house managers offer. The owner and the house manager were Awsome. They responded promptly and made wonderful suggestion on where we could find things. The house, the view and the private beach was beautiful. We do not have any complains at all. Prior to arriving the Annette and the house managers kept in contact to make sure our stay would be enjoyable and it was. The groceries on the island is expensive. The cheapest place was Kmart. I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the water sports provided by the beach house. My family snorkeled, and enjoyed the hot tub at night. I give the service and house managers an “A”. We definitely will be back. Also, renting a keep is definitely a must. Also, The WIFI works really well.

Private St. Thomas Retreat
This is our third time staying here. Still love the property as much as our first time. The owner was responsive as usual and accommodating. Great place to snorkel, swim, and just enjoy paradise.
A few things to note this time, there was no working clothes dryer. The TV service was not working and the air conditioning in one of the side rooms was broken. These have never been issues in the past.
Otherwise, just a really great adventure for our family. Will definitely return again!

Roach Motel
My family and I were super excited about our trip to St. Thomas and about staying at the beach house. That all changed a few days in.
I will note that Im not the type of person to blast someone with a poor review. However, when the property owner doesn't respond to emails expressing concern, it really leaves me with no choice.
House Managers -
When we arrived the house manager met us at the airport as promised. I requested that they take us to a grocery store so we can do our own shopping. Prior to our arrival, I agreed to pay them $100 for their time. I asked that she take us to "Cost U less" which is a major grocery store on the island. The property manager told us it was closed and the only option was a store in Charlotte Amalie. We followed her there and to our surprise it was basically a convenience store... Our grocery and alcohol bill came to over $800.00. everything was grossly over priced. Understanding that Cost U less was closed for construction, I was generally ok with it.
Two days later we needed more supplies, after making a call, I found out that Cost U less was open and had been opened... Bottom line, the house managers didn't want to make the drive to that store or maybe they have a side deal going with the other store. In either case, very shady. Felt Ripped off. I bought twice the amount of food at Cost U less for half the money.
House-
The house was dirty. Dust and cobwebs. the kitchen was over stocked with plates and misc crap. Felt more like going to a cabin on a lake than a beach house or "Villa" as ownership likes to call it. On the surface it looked clean but when you started to look, filth everywhere.
The house has bugs... We were all bitten at least 30-40 times throughout the week. My guess is sand fleas... I dont know though. I emailed the owner and she never responded to me. If this is just something that happens in the area then the house should be bombed regularly. COCKROACHES both alive and dead. Both in the main house and guest house. Have pictures as well. No excuse for this. Found one dead in the kitchen as well. Not something I expect when paying $700- per night.
Snorkeling gear etc was not cleaned. Given Covid etc... you would think that the gear would be at a minimum cleaned if not sanitized.
The Beach and the view were awesome, definitely the best part of the house.
Dont understand why this place has great reviews. Never Again, stay away.

Best Summer Vacation
Beautiful location. Private beach had scuba gear and kayak. Very secluded location. Enjoyed every minute of the stay! Property was excellent condition. Driving is very difficult to the properly and around the island. Manageable but need to be prepared for roughing it a bit.

Beautiful place we would definitely go back.
This property is the closest that you can get to heaven without actually going. We loved staying here, location is perfect it's kinda a remote and a task to get to but so worth it. We went snorkeling alot, kayaking and just enjoyed the beauty of this place. This property was nothing short of amazing. The house managers were great and helpful throughout our time. We would definitely come stay here again.

The snorkeling right there was even better than 5 other places we went around the islands on a boat trip!the boat house was well stocked with 15+ snorkel masks and plenty of flippers, assorted life jackets, kayaks and several chaise lounges. The property was setup great with tons of space for a large group with 3 couples and one family with little kids. Plenty of room to be all together and also comfortable private places to relax.Getting to and from the house was definitely an adventure! We chose not to rent and relied on a few local taxi/transport companies...once they figured out how to get there it was pretty straightforward! But plan for that to be a little extra work if you don't get a vehicle. It was worth it for the location tho!

Paradise
Our family love to swim and snorkel. Wonderful ocean coral with beautiful fish. Also loved the privacy having your on beach. The roads were rough getting there but all worth it once you got there. Need to bring water shoes the rocks and coral rough on your feet.

Electrical Disaster
The house has a lot of exposed wiring I took pictures and would love to post them. So many light fixtures didn't work or had burnt-out bulbs. I was shocked by an outlet beside the gas grill. The location is very remote and an extremely rough road to get to it. If your looking for isolation and great snorkeling then this place is great. Lots of fish and sea life.

Great Remote Vacation Spot (if you have Jeeps)
We loved our time at this property; it exceeded our expectations. Only having one true full bath wasn't an issue; the outdoor showers were private. All in all we loved the views, snorkeling, and the remoteness (I would recommend Jeeps, we had them and even got a flat tire in one of them on those roads). We definitely would return to this property given the opportunity.
