About this house rental

Enjoy a wonderful family vacation on the Bolivar Peninsula while staying in this new beach cabin completed in spring 2019! 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, sleeps 10. TVs in all the bedrooms. Streaming TV and high speed internet (WIFI). Located on the fourth row, but short walking distance to beach access via Boyt Rd. Quiet family-friendly neighborhood, ocean view and full of amenities.

Helpful information:
• Sleeps 10 in beds
• Kitchen includes: Cookware, Cookie Sheets, serving bowls/trays, knives and cutting boards, Silverware, Plastic/glass dishes and glasses, Wine glasses, Coffee mugs, Coffee Pot (regular drip), Toaster, Microwave.
• All household linens included with rental. Linens included: sheets, pillows, quilts, kitchen towels, bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths, beach towels
• Extras Provided: Trash bags, 2 rolls of paper towels per stay, 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom per stay, dish soap, dishwasher pods, hand soap, laundry detergent
• Full size washer/dryer
• Iron/ironing board/drying rack
• Six Adirondack style beach chairs, folding beach chairs and beach toys in garage
• Fully enclosed outdoor shower with hot and cold water
• Charcoal BBQ grill (charcoal/lighter fluid not provided)
• Fish cleaning table
• Swings located downstairs

Check-in: 4:00 p.m Check-out: 11:00 a.m (Ask for early check in or late check out)
• No pets
• No smoking inside
• No parties or events
• Minimum age to rent is 25 (must show state DL or ID upon request)

Storms: If there is a storm or hurricane, no refunds will be given unless:
• The state or local authorities order mandatory evacuations in a "Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning area" and/or
• A "mandatory evacuation order has been given for the Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning" area of residence of a vacationing guest
The day that the authorities order a mandatory evacuation order in a "Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning," area, I will refund:
• Any unused portion of rent from a guest currently registered;
• Any unused portion of rent from a guest that is scheduled to arrive, and wants to shorten the stay, to come in after the Hurricane Warning is lifted;
• Any advance rents collected or deposited for a reservation that is scheduled to arrive during the "Hurricane Warning" period.

BEACH PARKING PERMIT: Bolivar Peninsula requires a $10 permit to park your vehicle on the beach. It is a one-time fee and is good for the entire year. You can purchase this at the Big Store, the Valero, or from the local issuing authority when they are driving along the beach.

GOLF CARTS: Though not required, having a golf cart can be very convenient for shuttling back and forth to the beach and “cruising” on the beach. (You can also use your car/truck). This was my family's first experience renting a beach house.. and honestly, you just never know. We were AMAZED at how clean this place was. That's how I judge a place. The aesthetic of the home, the layout, the close proximity to the beach (without the mosquitos that stay close to the dunes).. all of it was just lovely! Everything we needed was available. We cooked all of our meals in the kitchen and on the grill. The beds were so comfortable! The host allowed us in a tad bit earlier which was HUGE! We were able to go in, get organized and head to the beach. We have found the home we want to visit yearly. 10/10 would recommend!!

My sister-in-law and I stayed in this home to recharge our batteries, read, browse the island, and catch up. The beds are awesome. We both said the same thing, that we slept so well. We leave today fully rested and a little sad our stay is over. The furnishings are excellent. We really enjoyed ourselves.

Really nice property, our 2nd year to rent with our family of 6. Close to the beach, we rent a golf cart. The home is beautifully decorated inside, the deck and downstairs. We used grill downstairs. You will be pleased with this property.

This property was perfect. Very close to the beach for our new "driver" to actually drive on the beach. The beach was about a 4 minute walk from the property. The property was very clean and had everything that we needed that we didn't bring with us. I will definately book and refer this property for future use.

We go to crystal beach every year and this house is easily the nicest home we’ve stayed at. Awesome location, beautiful on the inside and extremely clean. The beds are very comfortable which is a huge plus! Easy access to the beach, awesome decking around the house and the owners are very fast to respond about questions. I will book this home from now on every time we go to crystal beach! I highly recommend this Home to stay at if you visit crystal beach.

This house was so clean and the beds were so comfy! They have pretty much everything you’d need to use in the kitchen to cook with. It’s about a 4 minute walk to the beach, although we could have walked we have kids and a bunch of stuff to load up so we rented a golf cart! Highly recommend doing that… we had an amazing time and can’t wait to come back again!

This home is beautiful! It has a wonderful layout with gorgeous furnishings and decor. Our family was very comfortable here. As we read in other reviews, the beds and linens were super comfortable. We liked the fact the queen beds were solidly built and so were the bunk beds. No rickety metal in this house. The kitchen was a dream to work in and we like to cook. We wished there was a griddle for pancakes but we made due with the large pan. The large master suite was great for my folks and as it’s tucked away behind the kitchen gave a lot of privacy. Our kids loved the swing and the deck that went all the way around. This house is close to the beach but we were really glad that we rented a golf cart to haul our canopies and chairs down to the beach and also for cruising the beach and neighborhood. The only thing this house doesn’t have is a great view but you still get the ocean breeze on the upper deck. We just loved this house. So clean, so calm, so perfect!

We had an excellent stay and are already planning a trip for next year! The house was beautiful, very clean, well maintained and stocked with everything we needed! We took our teenage daughter and a few of her friends, the layout of the house was perfect, parents on one side of the house and kids on the other. Also very close to the beach, no need for a golf cart.

This is a great property and we’ve stayed before and will stay again. We’ve stayed in tons of houses at Crystal Beach and this is one of our favorites. It has the most “home” like feel, very comfortable, clean, well decorated and a super location. If you’re looking for a house to relax in and enjoy a short walk or ride to the beach, look no further!

Our only issue, the ferry into Galveston was terrible. We had 2.75 hr wait one time and a 2 hr wait another. Other wait times were in the 45 min to hr. Only one time, when we left to go home, at 7:30 am did we just get on. The trip in itself, Texas pretty awesome place to visit. We’ll be back. Thank you.

First time using VRBO. It was an easy process. The owner was very responsive, helpful and accommodating. The house was fabulous. There was not a detail missed. Everything you needed was provided. Beds were very comfortable. Decor was spot on for a beach house. Short walk to the beach and short drive to the ferry. This was definitely a winner. Already planning a girls trip for 2023 to stay here. I can't wait to go back.

This is my fourth time to visit this incredible beach house. That alone to say it all! On this visit I was joined by 7 college girlfriends celebrating over 40 years of friendship. And Rebecca provided the perfect backdrop to do so. This house is amazing! It is designed for comfort and memory making! Everything is so well thought out for everyone to enjoy! Quality everything! As we were packing up on our last day, several ladies said they felt as if they had been at a high end resort all week. So my suggestion, If you're considering booking this property just do it!! This house is very new, is beautifully decorated, well laid out and fully furnished down to the beach toys for the kids. Large kitchen with everything you need including the seasoning and spices. Rooms are big and the beds are comfortable. The beach is a very short golf cart ride away. You will not be disappointed with this house or the location.

The picture doesn’t do this house justice, it was beautiful, will be stay here again. The hostess responded quick and was very nice, my husband said the house felt like a new car, he loved it and the bed were so comfortable, best beds I’ve stayed in house or hotel.
