Angenehme und freundliche Unterkunft

Das Hotel liegt zentral gegenüber der Rigibahn. Das Zimmer war zweckmässig und hat meine Ansprüche erfüllt. DAs Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und abwechslungsreich.

Leider hatte es zum Haarföhnen keinen Spiegel - das ist auf hohem Niveau gejammert!

Lovely little hotel in a beautiful area!

Very friendly and helpful owners and staff. Close to the lake, the ship and the Rigi railway. Very good restaurant (book a table!).

The rooms are rather small and old; nevertheless they are comfortable!

Very good

beautiful location, quiet, close to the mountain train. staff was very nice, breakfast was good.

the only slight negative was that the kitchen was not as clean as I would expect.

Great place to stay, good location, comfy rooms.

Everything was good. Friendly staff, excellent location next to the Rigi Bahn station, for trains up the mountain. Clean, comfortable room and good breakfast. Also had dinner in the restaurant, good was good and the restaurant was popular!

Staff is really friendly. Mr. Thomas helped me a lot to find attractions around Vitznau. Breakfast is actually fresh and pleasant. I enjoyed the coffee they serve. And the scenery!!! Like a part of heaven! Amazing view to the lake. I absolutely enjoyed the walking by the lake in the morning. Do not forget to try the restaurant. Very professional chef. There is a grocery store nearby where you can find most of your needs. There is a bus stop by the Hotel, which you can use to go to Lucerne or other cities. A bit far, but you can enjoy the rout.

Worth it, staff was very forthcoming :)

The food was excellent especially after a long day on mt rigi. Reception worked without any issue, staff helpful and exactly what you would expect from a mountain hotel area type of hotel

One of the mattress was a bite boaty :D

Stay out of this hotel if you don’t want to be emotionally damaged and harrassed.

The rude hotel stuff: - called the guests at 3am chasing for the city tax before the guests even checked out in the morning; - kept sending rude messages via booking.com messenger, chasing the person who did not stay with the hotel but booked several hotel rooms for a large group of family after midnight several times to pay the city tax in one-go, despite being already informed at least two times that the guests who stayed at the hotel would pay all the city tax when they check out; and - sent multiple insults to the customer via booking.com messenger. The guests responsibly paid all the city tax when they checked out. This is a strong evidence of the hotel assuming that we won’t pay and a pure act of harassment to the customers.

Not worth the money and overpriced for the amenities it provides

Amazing views and location. The one quality of this hotel that I appreciated the most was the lady who served us breakfast; out of all staff she was the only one who was friendly and warmly welcomed us each morning and served us with a smile.

Overpriced and doesn’t deserve the value of money paid for it. We were a family of 2 adults and 3 children, and the staff weren’t very friendly and understanding, they wouldn't let us stay in one studio (which can accommodate all of us). Instead, they insisted that we have 2 rooms, causing us to separate and spend each night in 2 different buildings. The carpets were filthy and full of dust, which triggered my allergies so badly, the furniture and bed linens were very old and worn out the rooms weren't very clean and are in desperate need of renovation, the floors creaked, and the walls were thin enough that we could hear noise throughout the night. Additionally the house keeping lady would just walk into our rooms without knocking. overall, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel at all unless you have no other options available.

Location was excellent. Lovely restaurant in church garden which is great for kids to run around. Just across the road from lovely swimming/picnic area at the beach.

The hotel is in an excellent location and is a good accommodation for short stays.

The room was sufficient and provided us with what we needed for our two day stay. The Breakfast was great. We like the selection. The staff were responsive and provided good service. The location of the hotel was excellent. If you intend to hike near Rigi, you can not beat the location. Highly recommend.

The property allows smoking in the room. The smell of cigarette smoke was very heavy and unpleasant in all the common areas of the hotel. We didn't really appreciate that.

Good hotel with great location

We had a nice stay overall. The room had everything we needed, and the bed was comfortable. The restaurant in the hotel is very good and we ate there twice. Also the location is brilliant, less than a minute walking distance from the cogwheel railway station to Rigi Kulm. Also a great starting point for hikes.

It did smell of smoke in the hotel, and a couple of times we smelled it in our room.

Was booking for someone else but I was present by check in and saw the room.Actually she stayed one night only cause she had a urgent family matter.Nobody from the staff told why how…..just taking the rest of the money ….even for the pet with efforts….

The staff was very nice, the room ( studio) was looking good, the breakfast was tasty

The bathroom had no heating, and we had to carry our towels ( we had a bath at Rigi Kaldbad) all wet back home. It was a bit cold in the room

Exceptional

We were early and could either already check-in to an already cleaned room or leave our luggage and wait for a room with a balcony. We choose the last option and when we came back, were greated friendly again and got a great room with a view on the lake and a balcony. Great! Room was comfortable and the view was very nice. Great location and a very nice breakfast. We would go here again.

The very rude and unfriendly hotel owner ruined our holidays.

The owner of the hotel was extremely rude and unfriendly. When I told him that the mattresses are worn out, he said he couldn't care less.

Average hotel, a bit overpriced for what you get

Great location on Lake Lucerne. Good breakfast. Comfortable bed. Good shower pressure.

Very dated inside and smelt that way too. Not the standard I would have expected for the upmarket location and the price paid.
