Do not even consider, dangerous dogs running loose

Comfortable, well equipped

Noisy vehicles at night, loud aggressive language outside the lodge. NOT DOG FRIENDLY. My dog ( on a lead) was attacked by 3 of owners dogs who were running loose. My dog and I were very traumatised, it spoilt the rest of my holiday. I received a verbal apology from the dog owners mother, who told me I needed a stiff drink, but that was it!!! Shocking! I am considering reporting these dogs, as I could have had a young child with me. Would DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY

The cottage was in a beautiful location. We found the cottage quite adequate for what we required.

The mattress was not very comfortable on the bed.

Had a lovely time staying at the lodge, heating was amazing and we would return without hesitation

very homely had everything that was needed, we had a lovely stay

shower poor , toaster too small for bread, appliances need updating.

Although we had a few minor complaints we had a lovely stay and would recommend this cottage to stay in and would defini

the location, private and peaceful nice comfortable bed good heating and plenty of hot water clean towels etc

decor was a bit tired and the kitchen appliances could do with updating, the settee was very low and awkward for me to get up from, could do with a shower mat in bath to stop slipping when taking a shower, shower rail very loose and wobbly

Perfect stay in lovely surroundings

Location was perfect for exploring the areas we wanted. The cottage was so comfortable and welcoming.

We really enjoyed being in the Lodge, its a great spot & we would recommend to anyone for a break in

beautiful getaway

remote setting (although close to amenities if you need) great facilities in the house great communication from the owner including being very flexible when my dad was taken to hospital when I was due to arrive warm and cosy cute little garden

hardley any clothes storage had to leave most of clothes in suitcase on living room floor bed was hard the property was listed as having electric car charging but did not the owners property did but the owner said we could use it if we got stuck

Exceptional location with views of the South Downs from the property. Walks straight from the door. Comfortable and peaceful place to stay.

Superb

Perfect location! Perfect little cottage and was fully equipped. Couldn’t think of anything it didn’t have. Lovely outside area for a dog to run around and was fully fenced off.
