lovely romantic stay in cabins. staff very down to earth and friendly. made you feel welcome. bed

beautiful scenery and very well kept accommodation. the staff was very friendly and helpful. i have stayed in lot of places and the staff was so down to earth and chatty. really enjoyed stay in the cabins were lovely. had evening meal in restaurant and breakfast very tasty. would recommend cabins lovely to stay outside and relax . bed was very comfortable and cabin had everything you need.

cold and disappointing

lovely clean hut but it was freezing it’s the second time Iv stayed and the first time the room was lovely and warm this time it was so cold I was looking to make it a regular place but don’t think I’ll return

Disappointing

Managment dealt with our issues the following day well..

Place locked up on Sunday evening..no facilities open and nobody on site when our card key would not work..

Good for the price but could be improved upon.

Location, cabin (could do with restaining the exterior) and a friendly welcome.

No toiletries provided, mattress was uncomfortable.

The room smelled a bit when we first arrived. Soon fixed by leaving door open for a bit.

Nice stay

Was a 1 night stay and arrived late. Signed in at bar/restaurant with no problems. Lodges look all to be new. Everything in rooms very fresh and new. Did not take dinner or breakfast at hotel so cannot comment. But would stay again.

Location on golf course and view was great.

Window latch was broken so couldn't close window properly,plus window was right next to door so if someone wanted to all they had to do was reach in and open door. Shower was was way to hot,couldn't get any cold water though.lighing in room to dim and outside light didn't work.

Very poor

Room smelt of smoke and multiple cigarette ends in the planters outside the door, shower did not work at all and had to use a friend’s in the next cabin, window latches broke. Really poor experience, booked 3 rooms, all supposed to pay separately at the property and all money was taken from one card, won’t be staying again,

I thought it mentioned lake side view on booking but there was no cabins with this. Apparently it said "lake side view restaurant" even then you'd need some binoculars. Didn't like the cool/cold white bulbs in the cabin for lighting, bit too bright for indoors. always prefer a warm white indoors

Lovely location, good value for an overnight stay during the Commonwealth Games

Great outlook and very clean

Room was a little tired, some lights did not work and very noisy water tank in the wardrobe.

very disappointing

I didn’t manage to get into and was left standing in the rain whilst waiting for the key to be reset several times. I then asked for a refund which was arranged and booked into another hotel

no access to the rooms as the room cards couldn’t be reset.

the view and it was clean

we were not made aware there was a wedding (which is lovely) but meant we couldn’t eat in the restaurant bar was limited and got woke up at 1 2 and 3 am with wedding guests returning to there room
