A place with a huge room and an even bigger breakfast!

Short and sweet stay

Stayed over for one night. Room was clean and comfortable, they are more classic in decor and design but that gives it some charm. Free WiFi and iron/board and hairdryer provided. Beer garden is lovely in the afternoon sun. The breakfast was great, there wasn't a menu but they basically make you a fry up and give you whatever you want! Staff really friendly and helpful.

The shower was a little on the short side - I'm 5'6 and had to stoop to get my head under! But you can take it off the wall, so it wasn't a huge deal.

Lovely place, great staff and even better customer service, all you could ever want in a hotel!

Was a generally nice experience, breakfast was excellent and set me up for the long days teaching ahead. The bar staff in the evening were extremely helpful and the food was great.

Nothing was out of the ordinary to make a comment, it is just a genuinely nice place who's staff are welcoming and friendly, food and general atmosphere were amongst the best I've ever experienced.

The staff were great the rooms were large and comfortable.The cooked breakfasts were great to much for me, but my husband managed his.we shall be returning

Breakfast was the best fry I up I’ve had in a long time, dinner menu was also great food and portions, nice comfy beds, only major downside was the shower height and bath size, would definitely stay again if i was in the area

would definately stay there again it would be my first choice

Staff were totally helpful and pleasant nothing was too much trouble .I left an expensive jacket in the room phoned up on route to home by the time I got back to the hotel it eas locked ,safely away in the office

Car parking can be a little problem at times but there is a small overflow carpark across the road but has no camera coverage

Parking for about 4 cars. Returned twice over 90 minute period , couldn’t park despite requesting it. No Streep parking or other car parks that were suitable for overnight parking. Broken glass on ground didn’t bode well

One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in.

Room was massive and very wonderful, the four poster bed was a delight. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were absolutely amazing! Couldn't ask for more!

Not a good experience

Staff were very nice people and welcoming

Room was very dated no proper shower headboard was broken bed very hard bed people were hanging around outside anyone could come and go as they pleased no type of security no staff on site not very secure did not feel safe so I left at 3am in the morning didn't want to stay only went back to hand key in would never go again
