Staff is nice and helpful. The hotel’s appearance is great though it’s a bit far away. Restaurant is pretty with quality food.
washroom is a bit old and the room is a bit pricey

Excellent breakfast.
The room opened to a corridor and tourists were allowed from 11 - 6pm. They were noisy and kept peeping into the room,

Pleasant environment, setting and friendly staff. A bit salty with the beacon and ham as I ordered continental breakfast.
restriction due to covid 19, outdoor facility not opened due to wet weather

Colonial architecture, friendly staff and a magical sunset.
The hotel restaurant was mediocre at best. It had a limited menu and several items were not available. There was no bar operating when we were there and there are no other options besides the hotel restaurant for dinner. The scenery was beautiful but not much to do once you reached the destination.

Superb location on Lantau Island. It made a great change from modern city centre hotels. With only nine rooms, the Tai O Heritage Hotel is a rare treasure.
Air conditioning in our suite was a little noisy, but we got used to it. Food in the restaurant was adequate, not fantastic. We noticed some wear and tear, especially the painting of woodwork such as the doors of our room.

I’ve checked in with T3 on 12/10/2021. I’ve made a phone call to the hotel for enquiry information in typhoon situation. The staff has explained to me very clear.
On 13/10/2021, the staff of the hotel suggested to me check out until T3 and she sent me a reminder of the resume service of New Lantau Bus. This is a excellent service to customer in typhoon day.

Sleeping in an old building with views such as those of the Tai O Heritage hotel is a treat. It feels like you left Hong Kong behind and entered a new world, closer to nature. The food at the restaurant was lovely but we were not too keen on the breakfast menus and the egg Benedict.
I would recommend to review the breakfast menus.

Staff are very nice and helpful and we had a wonder time there. They also arranged a very special Dragon Boat Tour which made us had a unforgettable memories in Tai O.
4.3
The location was beautiful. While Tai O is a bit far away to reach, the destination was worth it. The hotel was secluded and was a beautiful backdrop for a perfect weekend get away from the busy city. The staff were amazing! Nicole at the front desk was great! She was super friendly and helpful throughout our stay; and the restaurant team, Lok was also super attentive catering to our every requests. The staff was equally as memorable as the location, they made our stay even better!

Style
Stain found in bed and towel
Hotel is far from public transport, suggest arrange shuttle boat
4.3
Room is clean and tidy, looks good
My room is on the first floor and too many visitors outside my room walking and look around..
4.3
Beautiful and historic heritage building, comfortable rooms and bed, excellent shower
The building grounds are open to public from 11am-6pm daily. If you are on the ground floor then you have people walking past your room constantly during these hours, which would be fine if there was a designated outdoor space for guests to sit and enjoy the view and surroundings separate to the public. But there is not so you feel confined to your room during these hours if you are back at the hotel as otherwise you feel as though you are ruining someone’s Instagram photo by standing outside your room. Upstairs suites look to be more private and have chairs outside room
Ferry to the hotel pier was not running I believe due to COVID and it is about 20 minute walk with your luggage, which can be a struggle in HK summer. Pack light or check with the hotel if there are any other options such as private boat from town
Restaurant was a little underwhelming for the price
