Great traditional style bungalows in a lovely location. Staff were very kind & helpful!
There were also the cutest piglets at the place next door! The filtered water tap is a great addition to the rooms.
Pillows could be more comfortable.
The lighting in the bathroom was also very dim.
It was a little bit expensive but I think that’s just the cost of Aitutaki.

Very well appointed villas all designed for privacy but each had a view of the lagoon even if not directly on the beach. The staff were friendly and caring and helpful with information.
Breakfast was beautifully laid out and the self service bar was quirky.
Liked everything

The Etu Moana is a beautiful property with spacious and comfortable villas and views of the lagoon. The hosts Tiffany and Jeff are friendly and happy to help with any requests from arranging lagoon tours to dinner reservations to information about the island and its culture. It was a peaceful and relaxing place for our holiday.
The breakfast was a bit limited and did not vary from day to day. However the staff were great and prepared delicious fresh omelets and eggs to order.

The thing we loved the most was the staff. Such a great team, thank you everyone, especially Te Rangi.
Nothing. We loved it.

The Villa was spacious. The beach was a few steps away. Plenty of loungers. The Staff were just lovely from the Hosts to the Gardener and the Cleaners. The Local Ladies that provided breakfast around the Pool were amazing, it was always a lovely experience having breakfast. There was an Honesty Bar which was easy and the pool was clean.
The Bathroom was very dark it was very hard to see in the bathroom. There was a led light but it was broken.
The Beach was lovely but shallow to swim even at full tide.

The villas were gorgeous with their palm thatched roofs and the grounds beautiful with pathways down to the swimming pool/bar area and the beach.
Tiffany was very helpful and guests could have the use of a buggie to go to a restaurant or for a little sightseeing.
Whilst there was no restaurant on-site guests are offered different meals in the evening by the pool. The fish n chip night food was delicious and the breakfasts tasty.
All in all a wonderfully relaxed stay with great hosts and staff

Fantastic breakfast by the pool every morning

The staff is very welcoming and the property is gorgeous! Great gardens and right on the beach. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure you have a comfortable stay - even helping coordinate delivery from a nearby restaurant!
Our favorite part was the free use of an electric golf cart. It was a great way to tour around the island and we saw a lot more than we otherwise would have.

This place is by far the best choice you could make if you like a botique style experience.
It could be a good idea if the beds were upgraded as they are not hotel quality and a duvet blanket would make it feel more luxury rather than just a sheet.

Breakfast was included in the price. Free access to scooters, kayaks. Loved the swimming pool. Beautiful gardens. Great hosts - Tiffany and Jeff.
Beautifully designed bathrooms but the lighting is not good and the water pressure is not really strong enough for a rain head shower.

We had regular and clear communication and the in-person service from Jeff and Tiffany was superb - from airport pickup, to arrival, to making bookings for us. And the rest of the staff at breakfast and room-cleaning were also very friendly. Having the electric cart and bikes to tour the island was also great.

Loved everything! Straight from Steve doing the airport pick up everything was amazing. We came over with no plans and Jane soon changed that. Organised a cruise, cooked us pizza, organised scooter, breakfast, honesty bar…. everything! Great breakfast. All of the staff were amazing. Loved it so much here. I’m glad the roosters woke me up because i didn’t want to miss anything hahaha. Everything looks exactly like the pictures.

Truly beautiful place to relax in. The bungalows are surrounded by gardens and/or beach front and apart, so you really don't see or hear other guests which makes for a quiet peaceful time. Except for the usual island roosters before dawn. The villas feel very luxurious with detailed lighting and furniture of teak. Jane and Steve are exceptional hosts and make everything you ask for happen! With a smile and humour. We loved zooming around Aitutaki on their e-scooters as well. Loved the breakfast
Roosters are very noisy before dawn. One rooster would be enough to keep the hens happy. The bound book at the pool bar with so much information should be in every villa so you know straight away you can order food from local cafe etc

The staff were friendly engaging and delightfully helpful in everything from airport pick up to scooter hire to dinner breakfast and drinks
Rooms were top quality and Bure 3 was ideal.
Not a lot to say maybe take away barista coffees with syrup shots available would be a good addition

beach view villa, Superb location, great view but some protection from wind (not great weather when we were there),
Villa everything you really need, very clean, lovely big deck to sit on. Great breakfast.
Nothing really, the roosters around can be a tad annoying at times, but also is part of island life.

Loved the outdoor day bed on the deck. Hosts amazing. Beautiful villas. Great location. Loads of beach loungers. Dinner also available with notice and was good quality and price. Electric scooter hire.
I don't believe there was a 2 bed option. Right in front of the resort is very shallow and only average snorkeling. Take ear plugs or expect to be woken up by roosters every 5 min from about 3AM.

The bungalows are stunning and the location is absolutely perfect!
Maybe the price but it was worthy at the end

My husband and I had the most amazing 3 nights here, being well looked after by Jane and Steve. Beautiful comfortable villa, lovely staff and the best sandy beach out of all the resorts on the island! Paddle boards and kayaks are free to use. We felt so welcome. For a romantic and relaxing getaway this is the place to stay!

This place is absolutely incredible. We originally booked the Aitutaki Lagoon Resort but changed to Etu Moana at the last minute and it was the best decision - it was the absolute highlight of our trip. The resort and grounds are absolutely stunning and so well kept. We had a beachfront villa which was everything we could have asked for - comfy beds, a big rainforest style shower and gorgeous views of the lagoon. The staff were all super friendly and attentive, and the hosts Jane and Steve are worth their weight in gold. Nothing was too much trouble and they went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. I can’t recommend this place enough.
I wish we’d booked for longer.

The property is really well run, the manager Jane went over and above for her guests, she really was outstanding at customer service, the rest of the staff followed her lead and made sure our trip was special! The honesty bar was really well stocked and they made a special trip to find gluten free bread for my partner.
Not much to dislike - my partner didn’t like the noise of the petrol weed eater but it didn’t bother me.

Simple and easy breakfast.

Location fantastic. Nice to meet other guests at breakfast round the pool and the cats. What made it truly special was the amazing care by Jane and Steve, the managers. Nothing was too difficult for her and she was always ready to assist us with booking restaurants', car, tours etc and even drop off our hire car. She is worth her weight in gold.
Only thing is, if the TV got Rarotonga TV. Would have liked to see Bledisloe cup match.
