About this villa rental
Private villa on two levels with pool
Sant'Agata sui due Golfi
3 double bedrooms, 2 twin bedrooms, 1 double sofa bed, 5.5 bathrooms
12 beds
Villa Vesuvio is located on the hillside of the Sorrento coast, just 800 meters from the picturesque village of Sant'Agata. Recently renovated, this luxury villa combines ancient Italian furnishings with contemporary design and enjoys one of the most spectacular views over the Gulf of Naples to Vesuvius.
The villa is divided on 3 levels and can accommodate up to 10-12 people. It includes 2 double bedrooms, 1 twin / double bedroom, 2 double bedrooms with bunk beds, 1 double sofa bed and 5 bathrooms (2 of which are ensuite).
Built in volcanic stone (tufa) and architecturally designed and decorated, Villa Vesuvio is the ideal place for a group of families or friends looking for peace and tranquility in an authentic environment of southern Italy.
This magnificent independent villa is surrounded by 2000 square meters of lush Mediterranean gardens with olive groves and other plants typical of the area. There are two separate terraces at the upper and lower levels, and an above ground pool (5m x 8m) with level deck and a garden terrace with a semi-enclosed outdoor kitchen equipped with Argentine-style barbecue and wood-fired pizza oven.
Surrounded by lawns you will have ample opportunity to sit back and enjoy the sun of southern Italy or the view of Vesuvius from one of the three outdoor terraces while dining al fresco.
Villa Vesuvio is ideal for small or large groups, families or for those seeking space, luxury, comfort and tranquility in a Mediterranean environment, but still close to all the basic services and exclusive destinations such as Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi and Capri.
The main villa
The main villa is set on two and a half levels and can accommodate up to 6 people. It consists of 3 spacious bedrooms - a double bedroom, a twin / double bedroom and a large bunk bed, an open plan living and dining room, separate living room and TV room, 3 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and areas private terrace with spectacular views of the Gulf of Naples.
Ground floor
The entrance to the villa can be compared to that of entering an art gallery with its superb contemporary and classic paintings. The open-plan living and dining areas result in a private sundrenched terrace with breathtaking views of Mount Vesuvius. It is the ideal environment to sip a cocktail while enjoying the sunset over the Mediterranean. The large kitchen with island counter is fully equipped for the avid chef and includes a 6-burner gas stove, dishwasher, refrigerator and all the necessary cooking utensils. Adjacent to the kitchen is a small laundry room with washing machine, iron, ironing board and washing area. Through the arched door that surrounds the outdoor terrace there is a formal dining room and a second very cozy living room / TV room located on a lower level with exposed volcanic rock walls (tufa).
First floor
Located on the upper floor of the villa are 3 good sized bedrooms. The master bedroom offers a large wardrobe and storage space and has a Juliette balcony with spectacular views of Mount Vesuvius. There is a large bathroom with a walk-in shower, sink, toilet, bidet and hairdryer. The other two bedrooms are generous in size and also have a large wardrobe and storage space. One room can be prepared as a double / twin room, while the other room offers a large custom bunk bed that opens onto a large panoramic terrace. The third bathroom is located at this level.
The annex (Two bedroom apartment on the lower floor)
Located on the ground floor, with an independent entrance, it is an independent apartment with two bedrooms. It includes an open-plan living-dining room, a fully equipped kitchen, a large double bedroom with bathroom and opens onto a veranda and an outdoor terrace. The second bedroom occupies a large custom bunk bed with a separate bathroom. All rooms have ample closet space and central air conditioning / heating.

If you like walking, there are many paths along the coast and inland. The city is also an excellent center for numerous excursions in the Sorrento peninsula and beyond.

Incredible property close to everything, truly relaxing place
The villa was incredible for our group of 10. Check in was simple and Mariano was great to interact with. They also arranged an at-home chef for our group (Josie) and she was absolutely amazing. The location was difficult to reach with a large car, but that is typical of Italian streets. There is plenty of parking at the villa for multiple small cars. Centrally located in the Sorrento peninsula so it is easy to get to all destinations. The villa itself was clean when we arrived, the pool was spotless as well.
