Cómodo, bien ubicado, chico, la amabilidad de los dueños.Habitación espaciosa. Baño enorme. Parking cerrado, dentro de la cour.

Great Location and outstanding hosts!

Our room (perhaps no.4?) was spacious. There was a very comfortable bed, a sitting room with coffee & tea and a large bathroom. Aÿ-en-Champagne is an amazing village in the middle of the Champagne region. It was quiet (unlike Reims) and easy to walk around. There are several good restaurants in the area, some of which can be easily walked to. Dominick and Valerie are superb hosts and gave us lots of good tips on what to do and see during our brief visit.

Really, the entire stay was great. The telly was a bit small, but that seems like a complete nothing - why would we watch telly? The parking is a bit cramped, but when we were there, only 3 of the possibly 4 spaces were taken so it was easy in and out.

Lovely stay

Lovely place, in old renovated house, well kept. Big room, well equipped. We were in one of the main suites. Friendly owners. Freshly prepared breakfast. Nice garden at the back unfortunately weather was not good. 5 mins walk from Bollinger - for our cellar tour 10 mins drive from Epernay

A beautifully relaxing stay in the most elegant of surroundings.

This suite was absolutely beautiful. We had no idea how spacious and luxurious it would be. Fabulous bathroom, gorgeous bedroom and separate sitting room too!

The hosts were excellent. The room was lovely, well equipped and exceptionally clean. The location was fantastic too. Close to Epernay but in a quiet backstreet location. The breakfast was really good too and included in the price of the room.

I don’t think there was anything we didn’t like.

Our hosts were delightful and made us feel very welcome. Our room and bathroom were spacious and well appointed. The continental breakfast was very well presented and delicious. We will certainly return when we pass this way again.

We had a problem accessing the wifi in our room but that may well have been a fault on our side.

Looks like “give me your money and go away”

Nothing positive to declare, quite clean, but definitely not the best place to stay in Ay even for one night. Even behavior of cleaning lady was negative, just try to imagine, She’d pointed her finger to the exit with unfriendly look before checkout for my own money just because of 10 min. delay.

Rude, unpleasant and unfriendly personnel, even hostess and cleaning lady. Non-polite service. It’s not a hotel, but a private house. Hostess offered to rebook a guestroom directly to him in cash at reduced price to get discounted rate cancelling booking.com confirmation.

Excellent stay

This is a lovely place to stay for bed & breakfast. Our room was large and very comfortable. The property has been renovated to a good standard and is located right in the heart of the Champagne area. We received a warm welcome from Valerie and Dominique who also provided good advice about local restaurants for our evening meal. Convenient and secure car parking in the courtyard.

The Wi-Fi signal in our bedroom wasn’t very strong so internet access was somewhat intermittent.

Nice stay. Poor management. Not processing my refund.

we cancelled breakfast the night before. we were assured of a refund over phone and in email. then we were ignored. we are now 12 days post visit and no refund has been made. having to escalate to bank as they are withholding money which can be regarded as theft. Front of house ladies are lovely and very professional. Management/booking team are not. Be wary!

A wonderful stay in a beautiful, comfortable room

The owners of this guest house were very kind and friendly. The bedroom we stayed in was so beautiful and traditional, and the bed and pillows were so comfortable that I wanted to take them home! There was a lovely buffet breakfast in the mornings, and Dominique was keen to offer us suggestions on things to enjoy during our stay. The house is ideally located in Ay, a tiny village with lots of champagne houses. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Great place to stay

Very large rooms (huge bathroom) very near Bollinger in Ay. Parking is in the courtyard of the building.

A bit tricky to find but otherwise great. Staff did not speak English but that was not a problem.

This is a beautiful old house that has been restored to a high standard. The owners were very friendly and the breakfast was excellent.

It is about 4km outside Epernay and restaurants in the village are limited.

Friendly hosts, nice breakfast, very comfortable and clean room, easy parking, close to town centre. Hosts were helpful and advised us where to get champagne.

It was all fine. I preferred the decor and style of the previous owners but that's personal.
