Good for budget travel

Hotel staff was very friendly and wanted to assist. Hotel rooms are modest but nice.

WI FI in hotel is very bad. Breakfast is nowhere near tipical Turkish breakfast.

Very good

Staff was very polite and helpful, and location was great, near to touristic destinations and Basmane metro station.

There are was a bad odour in lobby and in 7th floor, entrance to restaurant

Pleasant

Great location, reception staff are lovely and helpful ☺️

People started to decorate outside my room. 22:00 Painting the walls. l told them to move but another 1 hour still carry on. Builders had no respect. Short lady in the restaurant was putting presidents speech on the TV every morning. l feel very politically disturbed first thing in the morning. Didn’t feel comfortable.

Was OK, but expected better

The staff were amazing, friendly and very helpful. Location is super amazing, you can go to all the sides in walking distance. Main square 15 min walk far only. Food is amazing at topkapi restaurant which works with hotel.

It was quite loud from outside during the night can hear all the cars and beeping. Second day of my arrival all hotel was under reconstructions, so wasn't so pleasant and one day I had a cold water shower only. Hair dryer didn't work well. Breakfast was not good, they prepare it in advance one small plate and gives loads of bread but it looks like bread leftovers from last night everyday, so no fresh at all.

Disappointing

Breakfast was the best thing about this hotel. Plenty of options.

We rented a suite. It was specious and nice, but the Jacuzzi in the room was out of order, which was the main reason we got this hotel. Shower was also broken and was sprinkling everywhere.Totally unaccaptable for a 4 start hotel (this is deff not a 4 star, but more like 2). Be aware of the elevators. I got stuck in there alone, the elevator broke down and it took them few min to pull me out. Staff didn’t even apologize for the inconvenience. Definitely would not recommend.

Not worth it!

The balcony view was nice. Warm water was available.

Jacuzzi broken, it was not clean as mini cockroches were spotted. Unhelpful and uncaring staff, furniture and facilities worn down. Loud noises in the middle of the night from the hotel. We booked a suite with Jacuzzi for our anniversary and were met with disappointment for our special night. No other suites available and the employee that came up to our room didn't check properly, just played with the drain knob and left. It seemed like they were already aware that it did not work.... To receive compensation was a hassle as the hotel did nothing and said we should solve it with Booking.com. When customers service contacted them they lied to them that we did not allow them in the room??? During checkout no apologies offered, nothing at all. So unprofessional and definitely NOT 4 stars!

In front of Basmane train station

It was in front of the train station Basmane but far from the city center.

We stayed here only 3 nights and in one night when we arrived at the hotel there was no towels, no soap there was nothing imagine that when you arrive late in the night at the hotel and the only thing that you want is to have a shower and sleep. Another thing that was a little bit strange was that in the night that we arrive for checkin we asked if they know an agency that do the Ephesus tour and they said that the morning person from reception knows more about it and to discuss with him. In the morning we discussed with the morning person and he arranged for us the tour for the next day and he also said that the payment will be done to the guide directly. In the evening when we arrive at the hotel the reception people from night shift called us in the room and said that we need to pay them the amount for the tour because they need to do the payment till the midnight (was super strange), we asked for a receipt/bill for that amount of money and they said that we will take from the guide but we should pay the amount from them; long story short in the end we payed the amount to the guide directly how it was supposed to (they were not able to provide a bill/receipt for the money).

Very clean hotel, the location is perfect, there are a lot of restaurants and markets, close to the sea, about 2 km, everything was great

Cleanliness was average and location was so loud. There was no electric kettle in the room despite of being in the options in booking

The location is excellent, close to everything, restaurants, the area is lively, there are many cafes and markets, also close to the sea, the staff are great, the cleaning staff is great The sea is 1 km away, all transportation is close to the hotel

Excellent, even with covid 19 restrictions in place

Due to covid restrictions not all was as expected, for example the swimming pool was not in use or the restuarant, breakfast was taken in the attached restuarant next to the hotel, but I still had a good time, a holiday is what you make it. Getting about was very cheap, used the ferries, tram and underground, but main line trains sick with covid. Clothes and eating out is very cheap also. Fab views and walks round the bay, quite and tranquil away from the city.

Communication in English, plus information on getting about and what to see and do in Izmir, I had done my homework before going so had a rough idea, it was very diffficult to obtain a map, and could not find a touristic one.
