The staff and the size of their standard rooms, and we’re also decent.
I arrive there at 4 AM on the 20th and left at around 4 AM on the 21st almost exactly 24 hours, and they charge me approximately 400+ euros. For two complete days.
The gentleman at the front desk, voluntarily offered a 20+ euro discount, and was very friendly.
However, I feel cheated for a lack of a better word.
THE REASON BEING THIS: In the past 15 months I have spent at least 20 days at your establishment. My entire family books for rooms for half the month of July last summer. I have lunch and meetings there on a regular basis points being I am a good customer at a hotel and establishments which has customer satisfaction and customer service for this business values. Just save business not only did not reward me any kind of discount for my loyalty, but on my previous day, gave me a suite with a leaking ceiling. A leak that had a sound so bad. I left the hotel at 2am. On that trip not only did they not give me a discount for the Chinese torture in there sweet but did not even allow me to have a late check o
Like a fool I decided to go there and give him another chance . They charge me $180 for my first four hours. And $220 for the next 24. Again, no problem it’s not about the money. But when I come to sleep at 2 AM to find out that there’s a puddle of water in my bed. That could’ve been anything from your end to washing detergent. .. angry and disgusted I left the hotel again this time at 4 AM. With no apology no discounts.
My point is the staff incredibly friendly, but incredibly understaffed and overworked. Eventually leave my stuff fatigue. And finally leaking roofs & soaking beds. No refunds no discounts.

We stayed on the 14th floor, facing the swimming pool, so the room is rather quiet.

The heating system was not working, and they ignored turning it on until the last night of my stay. The room was so cold at nights that I caught a terrible cold.
Although I made sure that breakfast is included before making reservation, when I checked in, they said I need to pay another 25 Euros if I want internet in my room and breakfast.
The staff told me that they will give me one invoice for two payments (the fee + the extra 25 each night) when checking in; however, when I was checking out they said it is impossible. Now my institution will not reimburse the second invoice.
This hotel experience was the worst in my life. I wouldn't suggest Lisbon Marriot.

Clean, friendly staff, excellent service. Breakfast was fabulous and room was warm and comfortable.
It was a five star service from a four star hotel. There was really nothing that we didn't like.

The view from the balcony.
The glass that protects the bathroom from getting wet. But it’s too small. It’s better to be a slid door.

Nice hotel, good food, comfortable room, very clean.
Some of the staff seemed to be new, and needed some additional training, specifically in the restaurant and bar area.

Enjoyed our stay here. Lovely pool area with fresh towels given. DJ playing relaxing music at the weekend was nice. Plenty of sun beds for everyone. Nice breakfast, with plenty of choice. Hotel very clean in all areas.
Hotel is out the way of the city but it’s a straightforward walk into town and personally found it nicer to be away from the hustle and bustle of the main town. I would advise a cab back though. Cabs are very cheap. The bed was extremely comfortable. Nice toiletries in the bathroom. Staff were very friendly.
Rooms seem a little dated. The shower was lovely and powerful but water didn’t drain well. Very small balcony that you could just manage to pull a chair out and sit on. But nice views of the pool etc. Lifts take a while but luckily was in the 4th floor so used the stairs.

Guestrooms, bathrooms and public areas in desperate need of upgrade, bath was full of black marks and grouting dirty.
Only one lift working on day we checked out.
VERY disappointing for the price, will not return and put me off staying in a Marriott again.

rooms super clean and comfy. friendly staff at reception and service.
the hotel caters for large groups and it can get rather busy at certain times.
it took a long time for hot water to flow in the bathroom … not ideal if you are expecting a hot shower.

Great breakfast: tasty and versatile. Nice pool area also.
First room was on the roadside and traffic noise was loud. After changing to other side all good. Slow elevators (2 of them was under maintenance)

the hotel is close to 2 subway lines, the gym and the swimming pool are greats.

Great comfortable bed. Extra free amenities delivered to our room with just a phone call. Also we loved the breakfast buffet.
The tub/shower should have had a shower curtain instead of a little 20” wide piece of swinging glass with no rubber stopper at the bottom so there was about 1/4” gap of space between the bottom of the glass and the top of the tub so every time we took a shower, the floor in the bathroom got all wet. It was a complete disaster!!.
In addition, all 4 elevators were under repair at any given time and not all working for the entire 4 nights we stayed. We were in room 921 on the 10th floor so we didn’t want to take the stairs going up so we had to wait long time for the cab we can squeeze in or take the freight elevators. That was a disaster also.

Close to the airport, nice breakfast buffet, wonderful staff, room was large. Great choice for families- beautiful pool area!
Too far to walk to the historic center, room was a bit dated.

All were really good. Personals were super super ftiendly and helpful. Good job to the Marriot team!

close to airport. very good breakfast buffet.
It was a little outdated. communication wasn’t great. I was not told about the dinner buffet option, went to the restaurant a little before the buffet , ordered off the menu to then discover there was a dinner buffet. However my dinner was good. I found the nightly cost a little high, compared to other places I had stayed at in Lisbon for what was offered.

Clean and very friendly staff
Pillows, poor air conditioning
3.0 / 5.0
Overall a good hotel and lovely staff
3 out of 4 elevators didn’t work, so it was a hustle to travel from the 9th floor. check-in and check out both took too much time, the pool was closed (no sunbathing chairs out as hinted by the pictures)
