Liked the mini pool and the terrace. Location was good too.
We all loved the massage outside near the seaside
Housekeeping was great for making our room everyday
Breakfast was repetitive and not much selection.
Lots of mosquitos- make sure to buy repellent

Room is larger than expected with large bathtub.

The structure of the resort with up and down walk pathways was really nice but sometimes challenging. The condos with two bedrooms separated with a pool and dining table in between was really a treat as we are travelling with kids.
The common pool was very small. There was no laundry service inside resort, although it was available in a walk distance. Limited breakfast option.

Away from the full moon crowd. The beach is fantastic at first I thought the waves were too strong for swimming but actually it’s was so much fun to dive into the waves. Not great for small kids though.
Has mosquitoes (like most of the island to be fair) but they fumigate it few times a week. You will need transport to get around the island can’t really walk as I tried.

Staff, private pool, breakfast, room service available
nothing, everything was great

I know Thailand is about money...but when everyone want to cheat you with overprice is annoying...staff overpriced some trips and the way to airport and back also no taximeter..... air-condition is noisy, breakfast the same and quality is not so good, the beach is dirty and no maintenance....better you pay a bit more and stay other hotel like The tent
Actually they changed the room for air-conditioning issue....that's all positive...but still was noisy....

Staff was very friendly, directly at the beach (with a bar), spacious room, (small) gym, swimming pool with a bar
Beach side was being renovated so I cannot judge that but other resorts seem to have better facilities at the beach (like possibility to sit on the beach itself) therefore I do not recommend this resort if you want to spend much time at the resort itself, breakfast quite basic for a 4 star resort, as the resort is on the hill it is not suitable for people with low energy

Where to start! We loved our stay and wish we could have stayed longer. We travelled with a group so had multiple rooms. We had the 2-bed plunge pool room. The Duplex room. Lastly, the sea view private pool room. Our Villa was just by the bar and the barman/woman couldn't have been more attentive and kind. Every single room exceeded our expectations. The staff were so accommodating and great and helped us with anything we needed. We didn't use the general pool so we can't comment on that. We used our private pool and our plunge pool. Both were clean and well kept. The location to the centre was easy and the location to the beach was super easy. The rooms did exceed our expectations. The entire group was just thrilled. We wouldn't hesitate to come and stay again! They also helped my 75 year old mother with anything she asked for, which to me is a big sign of respect and genuine hospitality. Thank you!
If we had to nit pick... I would say on our first night the hot water didn't work, but as soon as I told the staff about it, it was fixed immediately. The breakfast I found nice, but it did lack in variation from day to day... but again I really didn't mind this. I love Thai food so I ate the Thai food and fruit daily without any hesitation. I also read about beds being hard... but come on. This is Thailand. Mattresses in general are hard. It personally didn't bother me and I found the beds very large and comfortable. I also read people complain about the beach... the beach is RIGHT THERE. Just walk down the steps. Also, like any beach it will have high and low tides multiple times. We found the beach and our villa absolutely perfect. Yes, there is trash on the beach but they clean it the best they can. The monsoon and storms are not something the hotel or staff can control. These will always bring trash along with them. We found the beach beautiful and the waves relaxing and we could very easily sunbathe on the sun loungers or simply walk down the steps to the beach and walk onto the main big beach and enjoy that. I also read from other reviews about the location being very steep... I found this rather exaggerated. Yes, it is steep but absolutely doable. Even my 75 year old mother managed it quite fine every day. I found if you ask the staff anything, they'll help. I also found if you told the staff about any issues, they'll help to fix it. I personally think a lot of the bad reviews have been by people that can't be bothered to let the hotel know or ask and just sit there simmering with their bitter thoughts. Also, this is an island... power cuts happen and when they happen they happen to pretty much the entire island. If they do, just turn your AC back on. It really isn't that difficult. No need to complain to staff about things they cannot control.

The room was fantastic. Spacious, very comfortable.
There really isn't a beach at the hotel. . And it's next to a beach area with a lot of trash. Several hundred meters away the beach and water are good.

The resort although a little dated was perfect for us.
The rooms were clean and tidy and housekeeping attended every day of our stay.
All the staff were warm, welcoming, friendly, and helpful.
The breakfasts offered had something for each of us and a chef was available every morning to cook up eggs any way we wanted them done.
The plunge pool was always sparking clean and we found it a great way to relax on the warm afternoons after a day of adventure around the island.
It is just a short 2 minute walk down to the 7-11 store and the prices there were surprisingly cheap.
There is an ATM outside the 7-11 so topping up our cash reserves was very easy.
It's only a 15 minute walk down to the main shopping/eating hub of Chaweng District or 5 minutes by scooter.
Insect repellant applied from the knees down is a good idea before heading down to the restaurant.
Fans were often placed around the tables to keep the insects at bay but if they were not in operation you often got a few annoying bites.
The walk up to the top of the resort was probably a downside (steep in places) but it was a small price to pay for the location we were in.

Location is good, in between Chaweng (20 min walk) and Fishersman village (10 min taxi). Staff are friendly and polite.
Quite dated, can see it was nice at one time. We had to change rooms because power cut in our room twice. Beds were really hard. Overall tired look.

Lovely hotel, we booked a plunge pool with 2 bedrooms. The rooms were comfortable and the pool was nice. The staff were really nice and they even had a golf cart to pick up my grandma from her room and sent her to and from the hotel lobby as it’s very hilly. The view from the hotel is amazing and the hotel itself is very relaxing.
There are a million mosquitoes. The communal area between the 2 bedrooms is outdoor so just got bit every time we sat outside. Also the bathroom wasn’t sealed, there’s lots of ways for bugs etc to get in and a HUGE spider kept coming in at night. We couldn’t get it because it was so fast.
