Alles was super in order! Aan de receptie stonden ze altijd klaar om te helpen

La posizione centrale, la gentilezza dello staff e il sapore retrò dell’albergo

Loved the old colonial features
Lovely breakfast and a nice touch to eat in the garden terrace

Location, quality
Shower was old and took a long time to get warm. Curtains cumbersome to open

Good location on the river in Hue, very good breakfast, staff very friendly and helpful.
Some areas need more maintenance, Moulds, peeling paint etc.

Great location, the people were very helpful.
Good selection of food for breakfast and I enjoyed eating outside in the garden in the morning.
The room did not feel clean (found hair on the floor). The decor is very tired and dated. There was only one seat to sit in and not many power points.

Excellent staff, location , awesome breakfast outside in the courtyard
Unfortunately I was given a different room to the one I chosen. Didn't bother to change because I was only there 2 night. The room I had was ok but nothing special.

Central location.
My fiancé cut his foot open on a broken pool tile and there were Multiple broke tiles in and around the pool, there was blood all around the ground that the staff wiped off with a dirty rag but didn’t clean at all.
We were placed into wrong room, then had to move, the facilities are old and tired, water pressure in bathroom was non existent. We were offered water bottles in room which had mouldy lids. Very tired and run down, staff were only polite when we checked out a day early because of my fiancés foot injury. We left early and went to a different hotel

We thought that it was once a magnificent building in a fabulous location. The staff were wonderful and the breakfast was fantastic.
They obviously get most of there business from group tours. You can get people hooked on the glossy photos but when you arrive and take a closer look you realise the place needs a lot of attention. Also when we arrived we found the bathroom floor wet so after drying it with a white hand towel we ended up with a brown towel.

The location is great I loved the history of the place.
It is in need of a refurbishment the air conditioner is noisy and inefficient. The bed is hard and uncomfortable.

It was a very old property in such great authentic condition. Restaurant was fabulous.
The minibus they sent us to go to Phong Nha. Late and aircon did not work on 4 hour trip.

Had a great stay in this classy old world hotel. Close to the river and the heart of the city.

One of my favourite hotel's in the world. Very historic building. Large rooms.
No handrail on the front entry steps. Shocking for a hotel that caters for many older tourists.
4.5
Breakfast was a combination of Eastern and Western food with a wide selection.
4.5
Massive rooms and a great location. The hotel may slightly be past it's heyday but it had a classic charm to it regardless - you can definitely feel the history.
Breakfast wasn't great, would probably recommend skipping.

Very nice and helpful staff!
we had a problem and needed to leave the city earlier than expected so they refund us the last night! That was kind
Breakfast also very very good
Rooms are very humid. It's a bit smelly.
And the rooms facing the street outside, very noisy at night too...

closed to the citadel
Very old furniture, rooms are dump. Beware of the reception guy that at check in tries to offer you transfers/ cars for your following days. He is a scammer.

the customer services could have been better/friendlier

Great location.
The Hotel was very dated but unfortunately not clean.

The hotel is located in the centre of the city at a very short distance from many restaurants as well as the Hue citadel that it is the major attractions of the city. It is an historic building and the room are quite stylish and very big although they could be slightly refurbished. The personnel is very nice and always ready to help in case of need. The cleaning is great and almost spotless.
We were there for three nights including from 30th December till 2nd January. In the morning of 1st and 2nd, there was not hot water in the room and on 1st the breakfast room was a chaos with too many people and basically no seat available (lot of food gone by 8,30 too), breakfast was no problem on 2nd instead. I assume the problem was caused from too many people staying at the hotel, however the management of the hotel should consider to have less people if they do not have a capacity, the hotel is 4 stars, the service is important.

The room size was great for a family of four... bed configuration worked well with my 2 teenagers. Breakfast was wonderful with so many local options and custom choices. Location was central and easy to get around Hue to different sites and local streets for restaurants and shopping.
Also - we ran into some travel hiccups, and Ni at the concierge/tour desk saved the day for us. For starters she helped us book a local boat tour but when we needed help to book return tickets home, she connected us with a travel agency, helped provide some basic information to them and then personally escorted us to their office to finish booking the tickets. She then checked in on us after and made sure all worked out (as she saw how stressed we were when our flight home got cancelled). Not sure I could have enjoyed my time in Hue without Ni's help.

The room was huge and had a nice view. Great location.
