El hotel es 3 estrellas pero muy acogedor, pequeño pero muy lindo.
El personal muy amable.
El desayuno muy rico y variado.

Very welcoming staff, excellent room service and very quiet rooms.
The location was a little far from the beach. Even though in terms of kilometres it’s closeby, you have to go around to get to the beach, making it at least 15-20 minutes walking.
Also, I must say the wi-fi was really bad, making it impossible to get a good connection. I perfectly know that it is for vacation purposes and not for work, but still the wi-fi is really bad. I couldn’t even connect to listen to music, so please pay attention to that next time.

A very good surprise of a big room with a nice view even if it wasn't the sea! In the morning, I could just cross the street and go for a swim and the breakfast was really good !
Cats could be free but with a caution. Ice cubes available for an ice cofee in the morning would have been great!

very charming and helpful staff who made some excellent recommendation for restaurants. Clean room. Nice breakfast area. walking distance from St Jean de Luz.
A few disappointments. My wife and I rented a room with an enclosed balcony and one without for my mom both with a sea view. Although we appreciated having an enclosed balcony this made the rest of the room so small we had to walk sideways from one side of the bed to the other. My mom's room had more space. Our room being so small had no adequate space for a luggage rack to open a suitcase. The luggage rack was on the balcony witch would have made the space unusable if we had put the suitcases there. The phones did not work. The beach view was beautiful from the balcony however the the noise from the road just below was annoying with the windows opened so we had to close them most of the time. The shower tiles were very slippery and potentially dangerous for my mom who is 85 years and not too steady on her feet anymore. we had to put towels on the floor to avoid slipping. the small beach across the hotel was unfortunately closed. no fault of the hotel.

This hotel is an old building that has been updated to accommodate modern tastes. Much of the historical parts have been preserved, creating a unique charm, but the rooms are fully updated and modern. The AC was great and we had a comfortable stay. We did not have breakfast. The staff at the front desk was really wonderful, giving us lots of great information and very friendly. He set us off for dinner up the road at a great place, and we completely enjoyed our stay.

We stayed at this hotel last summer, and when we were choosing where to stay this summer, we didn't think twice.
You cannot dream of a better host. Everything from the moment we entered the hotel until the check-out hour was amazing.
As a memento of our stay at the hotel,
we were given two adorable handmade key rings in the form of small pillows.

The breakfast could be better for this price.

room looked a bit tired, Wi-Fi connection didn’t work for us,

traditional building with interesting local touches. Quiet, warm and well ventilated. wonderful outlook over harbour.
Stairs. a hard climb up rickety staircase to second floor. very limited parking space.

Nice location at the beach. Good breakfast.
Old house with cracks, but charming. Our room had uneven floors with plenty of space at the door to let in noise from the hallway.

The receptionist was welcoming, very helpful and set the tone for our one night stay well.
The shower towels were very small so barely dried you.

a very sweet seaside hotel.

The hotel exceeded our expectations - it's what I would call a 'boutique hotel'. It is a bit quirky but beautifully and stylishly decorated and very comfortable. There was a small problem in our room when we arrived and the manager immediately moved us to one of the upgraded rooms with a stunning view over the seafront, which we really appreciated. The buffet breakfast was plentiful (although it would have been nice to have had some eggs) and checkout was a sensible time. The hotel is within easy walking distance of several restaurants and it was easy to park in a small car park nearly opposite the hotel. The staff were lovely and spoke good English.
There was nothing about the hotel we did not like. But because we were travelling in November it was very hard to find a restaurant that was open, and in the end we ended up with a take-away pizza for dinner! Although we found parking to be easy, I can imagine that in the high season this might be difficult, although I believe the hotel does have a parking space of its own at the rear. Because the hotel is a very old building, there is a sweeping spiral staircase leading to the bedrooms which being oldies we found a little challenging but not a problem if we took it easy.

Nice seafront location with easy parking for our off-season stay
Excellent heating; great shower
Ten minute walk to St.Jean-de-Luz with great choice of restauants etc
(We ate at Pub Du Corsaire - excellent)

Overlooking St Jean de Luz’s harbour and 15 mins easy walk to the beaches and restaurants of Ciboure,St Jean and Socoa. Perfectly situated.
Finding a parking spot in July, August and public holidays might be difficult. We had no difficulties in October and the Car Park opposite was free then.

I liked the location and the bedrooms was quite good. The house has a great charm.
The bathroom it’s not ideally designed and it this issue makes it always wet. It doesn’t really dry out without heating, which didn’t work.
The only staff we saw was for two minutes when we checked out. No reply when we needed something in the night and we would’ve loved a welcome.

Hosting was superb. Hotel is nice. Service was good parking was a bit difficult but the host helped out. Nice walk to St Jean de Luz round the port about 10-15 minutes.
The room was tired and needed some basic decoration. The balcony with a view of the garden needs sanding and painting all a bit unloved.
