Amazing

The facilities were top notch and the staff are beyond friendly, there was always something to do if you wanted to just stay at the resort and the tourist attractions weren't far away, we had our own car we hired which was the best idea cause gave us freedom to explore at our own pace. The breakfast buffet is outstanding and the choices you have are next level good. Overall I would go back there for another week with hesitating.

Best for everyone!

Access to the beach and pools. The property is really big and was able to relax. The staff are very friendly even to our baby. They always smile and hi to our baby.

Wifi outside is weak. The Smart network is terrible, but it is not their fault.

Nice way to spend the last couple of days on Palawan.

Facilities were very clean and the staff were amazing. Entertainment was good.

Not the best location. The beach is pretty to look at but the sea isn’t easily accessible. Nothing within walking distance if you wanted to venture out therefore you had to dine at the hotel which could work out expensive if you’re staying more than a few days. The water park next door was fun but the water wasn’t very clean.

Astoria Palawan set the record for the longest checkout process I have ever experienced in my life

I did not even maximize my stay to avoid the rush. I fell in line around 10:50 a.m. After I settled everything, I was told to wait for "5 minutes" so my room can be checked and I can be given the clearance (required to exit the property). I ended up waiting more than FORTY MINUTES. The staff came to me and asked for my surname after a long long while. Did he forget that I was waiting for him to tell me all is clear? Did the staff really took more than 40 minutes to check my room? Either way, it was obviously an unpleasant experience wasting all that time, when with those 40 minutes, I could have already driven more than halfway back to Puerto Princesa. I am 39 years old and stayed in many hotels here and abroad, but I will remember Astoria Palawan for giving me this record-setting longest checkout ever. Not even in hotels where I and my family stayed during Christmas holidays did checkout take this long. And I stayed at Astoria alone on a non-holiday weekend. If checkout is a hotel's goodbye wave to its guests, you can imagine that what I was given was something really terrible. It totally ruined the entire experience. Suffice to say, I won't be returning. No way.

Pænt og rent - venligt personale. Maden var god, og til rimelige priser i restauranten..

Waterpark, var lille og der var ikke meget at lave. Trængte også til en opgradering/renovering.

the food was good but if you are looking for activity outside the hotel you won’t find anything to do……. it’s in the middle of nowhere. the staff is very nice.

Check in time 2:00 noon. Don’t go early than that because you’ll be keep waiting at the lobby specially if you booked your hotel room online through other websites.. You’ll be charge at checked in 3,000 pesos deposit they accept cash or card. Water park open at 9am - 5pm..

The property is Ok. Kids enjoyed the water parks.

Very relaxing and I really love the food.

I love the excellent service by all the staffs, food was great, Mr Marios Pabustan and Mr Ivan Jimenez were very good at meeting our needs at the food and beverage. They went out of their ways to make us all happy. Mr Alvin Bautista had explained thoroughly about the benefits of being a member of Astoria. I’m still thinking about it. I’m 70 and I travel a lot. I’m looking forward to staying at your place again in the future. The waterpark was really nice as well. It was one of the reasons I chose this resort. Lots of amenities like mini golf, table tennis, karaoke etc.

I’m 70 and have knee problem, so I found the bathtub too high.

Pleasant stay recommend to stay not longer than 4 days

The staff and teh kids liked the waterpark. The entertainment team was very nice and offered us extra access. Since for us it was not clear that you one got 1 or 2 times access to the park when i booked it.

The food is not so goed (but thats everywhere in PHP) When you eat a la carte, the waiting time is gigantic and the bring dishes at different times.

Pleasant stay

1.Staff were amazing!! always attentive and very polite.especially the security guards were extremely helpful! 2. comfy bed 3. strong internet connection 4. cleanliness is always a priority 5. aircon was icy cold 6. Food was lovely!! 🤤 7. very good location

lights in the room were so dark, was very dim also in the toilet there's only one chair in our room and there's three of us. I requested for one more so we can eat seated in the room but the chair wasnt delivered in our room. you can only eat in the restaurant for buffet other orders are served in the rooms cant bring food in water park even if you bought it from their covenience store no hand wash gel in the toilet can hear loud noises in the room limited tv channels drinks were a bit pricey bites from sand flies

Memorable, and we will definitely come back!

The staff really took care of me and my family. The stay was memorable because this was where we celebrated my father’s 46th birthday. And they surprised him with a song and a cake! ❤️

Good resort for family staycation - but you need time for process

Rooms are big with all the ammenities needed. Bed is also very comfty and everything clean and new. Terrasse in front of the room is nice for snack, apero or just to relax. Breakfast in the morning has plenty of options and food is very nice. Also the free option for one entry at the water park is nice. There are kayaks, SUP or bikes at disposal for free and three different pools.

Check-in process is very long and complicated. They recently opened a new building and moved the check-in there, with the old checkin only for check-outs. As in many hotels in the Philippines staff is super friendly but rather incompetent and super process-oriented. Restaurant takes forever, so order at least 45min in advance to be sure to get it on time. Despite zero waves and only knee-deep water the "lifeguards" don't leave you in the water. Everyone uses a different excuse "jellyfish", "sharp rocks" or dangerous shells. It seems that they just don't want anyone in the sea not to bother watching people there. Also the pool was not cleaned. There was a slimy cover on all stones and areas in the pool. I guess the pump was not working.

Amazing

Your assistant resort manager (Andy), Chef (Ramos), reception (all of them) tour desk receptionist (all of them) basically all of them were just amazing, fantastic, hospitality was a different level, most of Astoria staffs is everywhere. Never seen such a great staff anywhere in the world I stayed before. Thank you and lastly Andy should be promoted hahahahaa 🙏🏼
