Overpriced forcthe standard of maintenance. Hopefully more frequent checks will easily fix this.

Perfect base on Waiheke Island for groups of friends or families

Brilliant location, easy enough to get to, very central for a number of beaches which can be walked to and vineyards. Large bright spacious cottages which were well stocked with plates/cutlery etc. Less than a 5 min walk to a large Countdown and some takeaways. Great base for a trip to Waiheke

- There were some ants in the kitchen so you had to be careful with food etc. - Slightly dated in areas but didn't bother us at all.

Everything else. Room was not up to par, photos are pretty misleading. Carpet heavily stained and beds not firm. It is very low budget and prices need to match. Shower falling apart and no space for clothes to be hung as there are no cupboards.

the unit was clean, the bed comfy and it had lovely morning sun and an interlocking cane and glass table and chairs which I found quite charming. I’d stay there again.

Relaxing and enjoyable. It met all of our needs on a busy weekend for a family wedding.

Location perfect, no breakfast required. Perfect destination for connecting buses.

Just the bathroom needed upgrading, shower area and undersink cupboard area.

The ants and mosquitoes. My body is riddled with insect bites. Also wish it was closer to the beaches...

Waiheke holiday

I stayed in room 14, which is the original building. It was comfortable and clean and got the morning sun. The staff are friendly and helpful. It was nice and relaxing with the spa and pool facilities at the end of the day. It is handy having the supermarket, eating places and bus stops all in walking distance. I like that the motel is environmentally responsible and loved the bed linen they use. Overall I had a enjoyable stay.

Would not stay there again, believe there are better places on the island for that money.

Location was good, shops and bus stop around corner. Size of room was good and car parking was good.

The room had mouldy curtains and did smell a bit damp although was tidy. Would have expected it to be more modern for $250.00 per night. Water pressure was very low and floor stayed damp all day. Pictures did not represent what it actually looked like, maybe update.

damp unhealthy to rent out toilet dripped knob fell of heater rusty asked to move then got bed downsized bed cover was stained first view was looking at the back of another unit when moved heard footsteps from another unit all night no sleep wooden floor I booked so no stairs and had to climb down stairs due to recent injury / surgery to get to first unit had to climb many stairs back to food places not what they portrayed in advertising

Would not stay there again

There was a comfortable bed. Unit was clean. Staff allowed us to leave our bikes there for a few hours.

It was cold . The heater was too small and didn't heat the room. The shower was impossible to regulate. It was either too hot or cold . When you thought you had it set , 5 seconds later the temperature altered again. No spare blankets supplied. The tap wear we not properly fitted in the sinks and 'wobbled'

Old cottage.

Just location, it was close by from the wedding venue. Heatpump was good.

Just spent a night there. Facilities were not clean at all. Eg windows, toilet walls, bathroom basin curtains. Bed was not comfy at all. But Bedsheets were clean. Everything looked like old and over used too much.

Overall fair but disappointed with a few things

The location and the view

We were "upgraded" to better room but did not enjoy the incredibly narrow staircase and the layout of the beds on the ground floor with one being right at the entrance door. The spa pool was a big reason why we chose the place and that was closed for maintenance and looked like it had been closed for a very long time. We had not been informed of this so that was disappointing. The shower kept running out of water.

Would stay again but would enquire if all items advertised are available

Friendly staff Clean room

Bed is on casters skids all over the floor, couldn't sit up to read or watch TV. Had to ask for fresh towels. Advertising stated that a spa was available, it was out of order and appeared to have been for some time. This was one of the features that persuaded me to book this establishment. Spa should be removed from the Advertising or at least flagged that it's not working.

Could do better

location was great. close to bus stop & close to shops & coffee & pizza

The spa was cold. The staff member once told immediately turned back on but No cover so it didnt heat up in time for us to use. The wifi wasn't working & our room for the first day/night, door lock was broken so couldnt lock when going out. Shower water pressure terrible. Anyway all acknowledge & a partial refund promised.
