Rooms were nice and spacious
no assistance to get luggage to rooms if you didn’t have a car.
Property was on a steep hill.
needed to walk down many stairs if you were able (we weren’t)
It was raining and slippery, we ended up walking down the windy steep driveway.
Check in didn’t care, there were work vans on site that we seen, just an offer to transport our luggage to and from our rooms would have been nice.
Restaurant not open and no breakfast available due to a conference & no shops close by, very disappointing

food was great, rooms were perfect, staff very friendly
later check out or earlier check in

The room was tidy and had accommodation had basic ammenities.
The restaurant was absolutely rubbish. Due to location, we didn't have a choice to eat there. Overcooked steak, waitress forgot some of our order and our takeaway dessert tasted like a supermarket bought cheesecake.
Will never ever go here again.

The staff were not very informative we checked in restaurant was closed and we had to go to another premises for food got back to premises bought wine and went back up to bar and it was closed at 5pm and reception was closed

Room was clean & comfortable.
Restaurant & bar service was terrible. Afternoon snack of Pizza( very nice) arrived before drinks had to remind staff and repeat order 3 times.
Arrived for dinner 8.15pm on a Saturday night to be told no more meals pizza only. Which again arrived before our drinks. 2 bar staff not busy. Lady at table behind was over charged for her G&T.

Great view and the staff gave us a drink in the house for out room not being ready when we arrived
The bed had a terrible dip on one side of it, so was extremely uncomfortable. I understand we we were given a unit that was leased by the property though.

Everything was great good view well equipped, comfy, great location.
Just the stairs as I have bad knees but good exercise

view from pool
broken amenities in unit, bathroom heater not working, light fitting in kitchen broken, outdoor furniture covered in lichen, raised nails on deck flooring, no clean towels each day even though some checking consumables from snack boxes etc, sand on floors as stick to feet when barefooted. pool had mould in bottom, rusting, paint patchy, spa pool bit manky just all a bit tired and worn. footpath to beach treacherous, timber batten with nail sticking up in middle of path, stagnant tank of water and detritus open on land in front of unit, all louvred from units removed and dumped beside pool so adding to low ambience.

location
This property is way overpriced. The room
was like a 1970s 2 bedroom motel. stairs to the pool unsafe and generally a very run down property.

I asked for pedals to be spread over the bed and cocktails on arrival this was arranged 👌 partner loved it
The steep hill but it is manageable

The rooms and the scenery are beautiful. The staff are very friendly too. It's pretty central to the wineries and the food on site is awesome.
The outdoor hot tub was cold and low in water by the time other guests finished in it. It was supposed to be shared but the same group held it for hours. I think there should be some management over this.

The location, view and spa pool area are great. The staff were friendly. We found the beds to be comfortable. We have stayed before and we would stay again.
The place is starting to show its age a bit, and for the price of over 400 NZD a night, the villas really need a re-fresh. Chipped paint off walls, yellow heaters, ripped material on the sun lounges, water cup marks on tables, sand in the sofa, and cracked tiles in the bathroom. One towel per person (no pool/spa towels) and !no robes/slippers!

Best time! It’s my second stay at Waiheke resort and I will definitely be back! There was a great vibe, had a great time at the free salsa class and Latin party! The staff were awesome too!

Room was lovely and clean. Beautiful views from the poolside and spa was great. Super comfy bed
It was super steep to get up and down from our room, which is tough when you don’t have a car.

The view was spectacular.
It would have been better if the room had a coffee plunger, salt and pepper shakers and the icebox in the freezer had of been defrosted.

Could do better with the crockery in the rooms.

The view from our accommodation was beautiful. The location was peaceful and just a short walk to a stunning beach. The staff were all lovely and the restaurant had a great atmosphere.

Great location, nice clean apartments. Spa and pool were really nice to enjoy. Incredible friendly staff, very happy to accomodate and assist us with queries.
The outside lights on outside the bedrooms made it hard to sleep especially when the security lights came on. Needs extra block out curtains over the small windows as the wooden blinds dont block out the light.

Great location, and great friendly staff
Just that there could be a more environmentally friendly way of having dishwashing liquid.

Nice Views
Had a great stay for a couple of nights with friends celebrating my 50th birthday. My studio room was a bit musty smelling and despite being told all rooms recently renovated a bit basic but overall in a good spot. Received a $150 charge for smoking inside on my CC. Queried it and took a couple of days to tell me that they had to steam clean the drapes due to cigarettes smell. Not once did anyone smoke inside, drapes were never drawn either, there was ashtrays provided outside which some of the group used however I’d advise anyone not to use them as they’ll risk the same. Totally put a dampener on the trip but as I was going to book another trip with my family next month I won’t be staying here, I’ll be spending my hard earned cash elsewhere.
Would’ve been a 4 star review until they chose to steal from me, unfortunately how do prove this once I’ve left the island, pretty sure they’ll have some smart response to this like some of their other responses but 7 people in my group can confirm the above. See response from property, however no one smoked in the rooms, made complaint to Booking.com and nothing can be done, Just booked another trip to Waiheke next month, this property lost out because of their dodgy charges!
