Pella Inn Hostel is an accommodation that gives overall good value for money, the place has a number of notable advantages such as its location in the city center, very close to Monastiraki square, the balcony on the fifth floor with the wonderful open view towards the Acropolis, and the kind and friendly staff who are always ready to help and have a good command of the English language and in several other languages. In particular, I would like to give a good mention to Maria, who works at the reception desk mainly during the night shifts, she is a professional and educated worker, who is always ready to help you in anything, patient, and also an interesting and smart person.
Regarding the shortcomings of this accommodation: there is no kitchen that you can use and cook food for yourself, unlike what is customary in a large number of hostels throughout Europe. In the room that I have stayed in which was on the first floor, there were a small number of electrical outlets and they were located in inconvenient locations around the room, for example do not expect an electrical outlet next to your bed, out of 8 beds that were inside the room there was an electrical outlet in maybe only two beds out of the total eight. Also the toilet and shower room are separate from each other and are located inside the room, which gives more privacy and comfort of course, but they were very small in size, outdated and in despair needy for renovation, the shower head was small and the flow was relatively very weak. The dimensions of the bathroom will not suit a wide person with wide and tall physical dimensions with a relatively big weight. and also the diameter of the sink in the bathroom was very narrow and small, which causes water to constantly fall on the floor and wet it. with an extra towel. It is important to note that the towels are borrowed for free at the reception desk, unlike other accommodations that charge money for towels and sometimes also for bed linen.

I like the nice view of Acropolis from the hostel rooftop. The staff is very friendly, professional, kind and welcoming person. I highly recommend this hostel to anyone who loves the travel, looking for a comfortable, air conditioned, friendly and well equipped place to stay in Athens. Nice location, near Monastraki metro station, easy to access for nightlife of Athens. Near Acropolis.
No electric socket for charging near beds. Bathroom is little bit small but it’s clean every day. There’s no lockers in the room for luggage but they will give you the locker in another floor with a key access. They don’t allotted the beds in the room according to your requirements. It’s based on first come first find the bed.

great location, my room even had a view on the Acropolis :)
the bathroom was a bit small and the door wouldn't lock properly

It was cosy and clean, very well situated and terrific sight towards the Acropolis

Great location, balcony and rooftop bar views of the acropolis. The airport transfer is great value.
Some of the room doors are difficult to shut.

The location is very close to the Agora and some very good restraunts. The syntagma square is a 12-minute walk away. I couldn't ask for a better location. While the hostel isn't luxurious, it is comfortable and very good for a traveller who wants to explore Athens.
The shower head was loose and not attached to the wall, a shower mat would have been nice in the bathroom. And a sheet that didn't easily come off the bed would have been nicer; but these are little things, not serious issues.

Central but too busy if you don't like the crowds that invade the area. The hostel itself is quiet, it has a marvelous terrace, the staff is kind and helpful. 24-hr reception is a major plus. Bathroom and shower in the room.
No kitchen, but water heater and a fridge are available..

Location: Everything is close by. Easy check in. The rooftop area has an awesome view as well as good drinks.

We picked a specific room with a view towards the Acropolis. I would definitely recommend choosing your room as not all rooms have this view. Especially given the price, the location and the view were absolutely fantastic and we enjoyed spending time in the space - especially on the balcony. The staff were really welcoming and helpful and the room was clean. This is a cheaper option that really suits those on a budget looking to stay somewhere central, perhaps as part of a bigger travelling trip. There was also a rooftop bar!
The bathrooms were a bit dated (as is the aircon) but we wouldn't have expected much more for the price. There was also no kettle in the room.

Close to Acropolis and agora, decent sized rooms
Very tiny shower. Poor ventilation means the roof has mould. Broken door lock. No kitchen

The girls shared room has THE BEST VIEW OF ATHENS. No doubt about that. The room has a small balcony and a window, both have a perfect view of the Acropolis, it’s just amazing. The location of the hostel is also great, I stayed 4 days and I never had to use a bus or metro because everything was so close by.
About the hostel: they cleaned the room and private bathroom daily (amazing!!!), so it kept pretty clean. The AC worked perfectly, for cold or warm air, so we never got cold in the night (I visited in winter).
PS: you can ask for a towel and locker in reception.
I didn’t like:
1. There is no kitchen :( but there is a fridge and a electric kettle in reception, so you can buy your stuff and store them in your locker & fridge.
2. The is no support for the shower head, so you have to sustain it constantly while showering… this is never too comfortable. And the sink is quite small, but that is a minimal detail.
3. There should be personal shelves besides each bed to store your personal item. When sharing a room, some times you want to keep your most valubles right next to you. Also, there are no small personal lights for each bed. The room has only two big light in the ceiling, so it’s either on or off. So no reading before going to bed or turning on a small light so you do not bother the rest.
4. Since it is a room for 6 (and it is quite small), sometimes it felt over crowded and there wasn't much space left (not even on the floor). I'm attaching some pictures so you get a sense of reality, because the pictures in booking -with the room empty- always look so amazing.

The staff at the place is amazing, always ready to help and kind. The structure overall is quite good, centrally located despite being on a main central road, with lot of traffic.
The terrace with a view on the acropolis is very good.
Well, it is advertised as a hostel, but indeed is a hotel. No kitchen, no common room other than the lobby (where WiFi is not working). The terrace is the only place where to consume a meal, and the only place in the building with a trash can.

I would love to stay at Pella Inn again. I booked a private room with a balcony and an Acropolis view. The view was amazing, the room was clean and spacious, the wifi worked well, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. It's located just steps away from Monastiraki Square, making it super easy to walk to any main sites or hop on the metro. Overall, Pella Inn is simply an unbeatable value.
No breakfast, but there are a bunch of cafes and bakeries nearby to grab something for cheap.
FYI the bar is closed in the winter months but the rooftop is still accessible to hang out and enjoy the view.
This wasn't an issue for me, but just beware if you're a really light sleeper because it is on a noisy street.

The staff are lovely. The rooms are clean if basic, the beds comfortable. The roof has amazing views.
The hot water is at reception and we were asked not to eat in our rooms. This is worth knowing! Also, be aware that this is a hostel and shower gel etc is not provided, so bring your own.
For light sleepers, be aware that the road outside can be very noisy.

Good location. Staff is friendly and helpful. Everyday cleaning. Rooms are locked with keys. Additional toilets at the ground floor.
Unstable WIFI connection, doesn't work at the terrace. No kitchen, but there is a kettle at the reception.

it was close to everything and it had great view over the acropolis
the windows :) as it’s very loud neighborhood and we couldn’t sleep until 2-3-4 in the morning from people shouting outside. also, there were no cups, shampoo or anything in the room.

Top view from 4th floor balcony.

Location was amazing, best view of the Acropolis, all shops and restaurants are close by. Metro station is 5 minutes away.
Space was limited, especially in the bathroom.
No soap to take a shower.

Stay at Pella Inn Hostel was amazing. The best place was a common space on rooftop where the view is wonderful. After the stay you can leave luggage there for free in corridor.
There aren’t any curtains that can be used to hide your bed from others. Water runs from shower to the room, zero lockers in room

The rooftop terrace is awesome. Room was large enough and clean. For a hostel it was all very decent.
It's a bit pricey for a hostel.

Fantastic location right in the heart of Athens, only a few minutes from Monisteraki metro station. Our balcony had a view of the acropolis!
Shower head needs to be repositioned at standing level. Balcony door almost falls off on opening it.

it is good for its location.
Nothing to dislike.

The hotel was clean, location was extraordinary, right in the middle of athens with a rooftop view of the acropolis
The facilities were a bit meh... Shower couldn't decide if it was cold or hot and the wifi wasn't that reliable

Close to metro station 5 min walking and main attractions. They have lockers that you can leave your luggage for a few days while visiting the islands.
Can be quite noisy from the bars and restaurants outside.
No amenities given with the room, ( shampoo, soap )
