I had a great view of the beautiful garden and enjoyed waking up to the sound of birds singing. Breakfast was very good, served in a room with a nice view and plenty of natural light. The room was spacious, above the usual standard, and had a pleasant balcony.

Cama muito confortável, excelentes funcionários e um ótimo pequeno-almoço
O chuveiro tinha muita pressão e era difícil pendurar no encaixe.

The hotel was in good location within Angra. It had nice view to the ocean, which you could enjoy from bar area where lunch, dinner or just drinks could be served. They had spa, which was a pleasure after days spent walking, exploring caves and travelling.
If you arrive early, there is possibility to drop off your luggage, which I found extremely useful.
I was missing wider selection of food for breakfast. In addition, I was missing kettle and iron in the room (I have not asked the staff if it is possible to get from the reception, but it is very likely that it is, which I have not done).
It was also challenging with parking in front of the hotel (they do have parking area when you are checked in and you can use keycard from the room to access; however prior check in the space for parking is very limited in front of the entrance).

Great location, 12min walk to the centre of Angro de Herisimo, comfortable rooms, buffet a decent option for a night, but for the better quality restaurants it's best to head into the centre.
Spectacular views of the bay, good terraces to have a drink in the evening (food available here also, sandwiches are good (but rest of bar menu a bit pricey for the quality). Bartender (his name escapes me) working the terrace bar very competent and friendly.
Pool area is a good space, but recommend going outside and down to the dock and mix with the locals too!
Good to have a 24hr front desk available to solve any queries.
Pool bar was closed during our stay.
The exterior facade on the seafront could do with some work (re-painting)
Balcony furniture...?

Location and room for families.
A little bit dated, needs a refresh.

The location of the hotel is very nice, along the waterfront, on 10 min walk of centre of angra do heroismo. Nice pool with possibility to go the open water.
It is not the newest hotel in town. But they are doing some renovations and improvements.

Views from hotel and our room were great.
The hotel is tired and old. It needs a full re-painting. Outside steelwork was rusting badly, the bathroom was outdated.

Localizacao, staff, restaurant, indoor pool, main facilities, all very very nice. I recommend this hotel.
Parking entrance too small.
Room windows don't close nor isolate very well (this is critical when close to the sea).
AC does too much noise.

The woman who checked us in and helped us with our reservation was fantastic! Very helpful!
The hotel is aged for sure and is not as nice as it looks in the pictures.

Location and pool area and easy access to the public concrete beach area via the gate was great. Breakfast was also good. Small fridge in the room was useful. The room itself was similar size and set up to a Premier inn room and bathroom but with a balcony. Useful shops nearby - PoliAngra restaurant and a small supermarket and ice cream shop just over the road. Taxi booking by the hotel was reliable - 5 euros into city, 22 to the airport.
Twin beds were pushed together and even when we separated them, housekeeping kept pushing them back together - so we gave up. Not a a biggie. Housekeeping was generally around 3-5pm each day so some days we said don’t bother if we wanted to use the room then. The hotel dinner buffet has no vegetarian option if you don’t eat meat or fish - but this is a problem generally on the island. Very hard to get any decent vegetarian food (PoliAngra restaurant over the road were the most accommodating).

Restaurant buffet is good value. Superior service staff, much appreciated. Beachfront location.
Check-in after 3pm and outdated facilities.

Complimentary champagne for our anniversary!!!!!
When we made a mistake and entered into a reservation area we were addressed loudly rather than discreetly.
