Het ligt prachtig tussen de heuvels op het Toscaanse platteland. Heel sfeervol en het personeel is zeer vriendelijk. Het ontbijt is prima in een mooie ontbijtzaal.
Ik had er wel langer willen verblijven.

Beautiful property in a great location. The views of the Tuscan hills are gorgeous, the room was not big but very comfortable with a large window door. We enjoyed the pool area and had an excellent dinner at the restaurant at night. The breakfast was also delicious. Thank you!

Good location- 30 min by car to Florence. The property landscaping is very nice (nice olive trees, rosemary, etc) on a vast property. Parking is available on site.
I’ll preface this by saying I write many reviews and this is my first negative one. At checkout, the hotel manager looked for ways to add extra fees, knowing that we, as foreigners in the country, had no choice but to pay. I mentioned I will write a review on booking.com about my feedback, the manager said she doesn’t care as Booking.com doesn’t involve her, being we’re in Italy…. Very rude and unprofessional behaviour. The ridiculous fees (ie one example being a daily fee to use the rooms mini fridge) dampened our mood on our family vacation- very unnecessary behaviour and uncalled for especially on principal.
The room itself was dirty, especially the floors and the bathroom, very dated as well. Theres an old AC unit in the room which barely works, not ideal in >40 C summers. Given this, the room smell musky and damp. Breakfast is subpar.
The pools deck has loose tiles/rocks which move underfoot- be cautious with younger children.
Overall, a disappointing stay and poor value for money.

Breakfast and dinner was fantastic, so too the pool. Shady area for car was appreciated.
A/C could have been a little more powerful.

Beds and pillows were very hard at first, but then we got used to it and slept fine

Wonderful staff, nothing was too much trouble without being overly attentive (special shout out to Claudia!). Beautiful location looking across the valley to the Tuscan countryside. The food and wine were also excellent at the restaurant in the evenings.

Unfortunately we had rain and cold weather at our stay, but we enjoyed staying here, though we didn’t have the chance to enjoy sitting on the terrass enjoying the fantastic view. The food in the restaurant was very good and we especially enjoyed our eveningmeal with the very nice and helpful staff.
The bed was very hard.

Recommended if you are looking for a 1-2 night stay not far from Florence.
Great place to chill and enjoy Tuscan nature. Located on a hill, has a nice view, restaurant in evenings, has a great team. Overall, very enjoyable.
It's rustic, like you stay in grandma's. But although the view is nice etc. it's not actually that 'rustic' - it's quite close to Florence, there is a highway just nearby etc. There isn't much around beyond Antinori, all good wineries are a bit far, if that's your thing. Cycling is not an option either. Restaurant is very decent but I'd say charges a bit too much for what it's worth (on par with good restaurants in Florence).

The breakfast buffet had everything you could desire and the waitress Iladia (sorry if I misspelled) was so friendly and accommodating!

A pretty small hotel with lovely views across the valley, the staff are very friendly and generous (an extra croissant for my visiting grandson for instance). Bedroom was comfortable and air conditioning is installed. Delicious dinner and aperitivi on the terrace, and their own excellent wines are available to buy. Beautiful swimming pool area.
Our bathroom was a little tired - the loo needed attention - and hangers are in short supply. Please note that visitors not staying at the hotel are not allowed to use the pool, even when the pool area is empty of other guests, something I have not come across before in Italy.

Great restaurand and amazing location in relatively close proximity to Florence.
Short part of the dirt road to the hotel can be tricky at night but this is normal for Italy

We stayed in Poggio Borgoni for a full week and really enjoyed it. The staff was great, food very good and the venue beautiful. We would definitely recommend this place!

Amazing place in the countryside. Spacious rooms with beautiful views. Cozy restaurant with delicious food and wine. Terrace with tables and chairs to enjoy a glass of wine.
Not enough pastry and fruit for breakfast and the staff bit reluctant to change it even if asked.
