A very relaxing holiday and would stay there again.

The gym was very good. Very clean with fresh water and fruit. Used it every day. The pool and pool bar was excellent. The hotel was very clean and well kept. Much closer to the beach than I expected. Transport links were very good.

Lovely stay!

Staff are very friendly. The food is great, weather it be snacks or from the main restaurant. Reasonable price too. Lovely swimming pool and outside areas to chill in

Excellent hotel, but please use the safe in room

Location and facilities

Had money stolen from my suitcase in my room. Not a lot of money and I should have put in safe in room, but disappointing that’s members of staff would go through my things and steal

Great stay in a lovely hotel. We will be back.

Great location for a holiday, hotel was spotless and pool amazing. Hard to understand why it’s only a 3 star

Only issue we had was a poor meal in the restaurant. Breakfast and lunch were outstanding, but we were extremely disappointed by main meal, so ate out every night afterwards (no issue as there is a lot of choice in the local area)

Muy bueno pero caro

Ubicación, aunque los alrededores no son muy bonitos tienen mucha oferta. Piscina y cercanía a la playa.

Cama y almohadas. Almohadas o duras o muy bajas. Colchon que me hizo doler la espalda supongo por su antiguedad. Baño, limpio, correcto pero necesita una reforma. Me pareció muy caro para lo que dan.

Hotel ma wspaniały klimat, pyszne jedzenie, bardzo pomocny personel, jest czysto i schludnie, jedzenie spełnia oczekiwania (poza brakiem warzyw na śniadaniach), bardzo przyjemny basen.

Nie uzupełniano wody w pokojach.

Disappointing - very hard to sleep due to noise levels and a glowing green light in my bedroom.

Location was good.

There was a light on in my room that couldn't be turned off. It glowed green and lit up the entire room making it impossible to sleep. Also there there was a lot of noise from the restaurant below. There was a huge dip in the chair at the desk making work impossible and you had to log in to the wifi every day, not just once at the beginning of your stay.

Very happy with this hotel overall.

Loved the pool. Nice to have drinks and food served us by the pool. The air conditioning was excellent and having a big enough balcony was really nice. Very quiet area so was great to just relax.

Walls were very thin so there wasn’t much privacy.

Very clean and nice rooms with the common room facilities such as kettle, safe, fridge. Good view of pool and garden. Very nice staff. Plenty of parking space. Amazing breakfast! Great location for going to beach.

Good value for money

The hotel is near the beach. Throughout the hotel everything was clean. The receptionist was lovely and water& apples upon arrival are a great touch. The room was spacious with a nice view to the pool & some sea.

The room did not had a kettle , tea or coffee. The fridge did not work at all. The food in the restaurant is poor ( burgers , chips etc ).I expected at least a dish or two to be Spanish. We were served beer in some baby cups, very tiny. The hotel facade had maintenance planned in the day so impossibly to enjoy the pool or the balcony as the noise was impossible. To stay there a night is ok but for a longer period even a flat nearby would be better.

Relaxing Vacation

The family owned Hotel is located 200m from the beach. Supermarket is only a quick walk away. Tram station in 600meters/10minute walk down the promenade. It takes 15 minutes to Alicante Old Town. We booked the Premium Double Room with Balcony/Terrace in April. Very modern, EXTREMELY clean, shower is amazing (water pressure and water quality is perfect!), AC is great, room is QUIET, Wardrobe is spacious and BEAUTIFUL view. The pool and garden area is beautiful, clean, soft music is playing, palm trees, daybeds,... Lovely. The stuff is very friendly, overly helpful and the breakfast is great quality. The Restaurant is very good too. The interior of the whole hotel is so well designed, 5G Wifi. We loved it and would recommend to anybody.

Superior room. Far from superior experience.

The location, staff and the food was all excellent.

We paid for a Superior room and therefore expected a superior experience. unfortunately this was not the case. This was my 3rd stay in The Almirante. I’ve loved the hotel on my first two stays but on this occasion there was a lot lacking, and I mean a lot. Due to a technical fault on the door, we were locked out of our room on two occasions. The door battery was failing and resulted in a technician having to be called. On the second occasion this left us having to wait in the bar for 1.5 hours, the night before we were to fly home. On both occasions were the door was fixed this resulted in the digital temperature/fan control in the room not working. we spent two nights without being able to heat the room. The room failed to be cleaned properly on most days with glasses from room service being left in the room and one day were no towels were left. We had to request new towels from the reception. The coffee in the room wasn’t replenished either after Day 2. This may be a little thing but the little things matter especially when paying for a superior room. I was really disappointed ☹️ on this stay as I love the hotel, the staff and the area but I think the superior experience was far from it. I will be back to the hotel in the future but it would be nice to see some good will from the Hotel to make amends for what was a poor experience this time around. best regards Liam Clarke
