Breakfast had a great selection and was well timed. The staff were friendly and helpful and all seemed like a good friendly team. The room
Had everything we needed.
Iceland is expensive, the bar snd restaurant were expensive even with happy hour.

Close to downtown at 30 min to the main street. Very good restaurant.
Room overheated, view of a construction place.

Check in and storage of luggage
Bedding was atrocious. Room was supposed to be two double beds. Ended up as two twin beds made up together with separate sheets.

Fin beliggenhet, meget god middag i restauranten.

The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The bed was big and comfortable. It was close to the city centre and had free parking.

We recently stays there when we visited Iceland. It was perfect. It was easy to get to from the airport and easy to get to downtown Reykjavik. A special praise for Olga at the front desk. She gave us some very good advice about where to park in Reykjavik. It made visiting Reykjavik easy and saved us a lot of money. She also pointed out places to see on the map. We really appreciated her help.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Dining was excellent. Room was quiet and comfortable. Location put us within walking distance to activities we wanted to explore.
On the morning of our checkout we asked to leave our luggage for pickup later in the day by us. When we got back early afternoon we found our luggage was no longer at the hotel. They had been mistakenly taken with other guest luggage to the cruise port. Luckily we were passengers on the cruise ship where our luggage was taken and we found them on the ship before the ship left port.

Modern hotel in walking distance to the centre ; very good breakfast buffet
The third bed was not comfortable sofa, not suitable for adults

Immediately when you walk in, the hotel looks very inviting and clean. The lobby has a bar and fountain and everything about it looks presentable. Our beds were also pretty comfortable.
The bathroom area in our room was dissatisfying to say the least. No matter how you showered, the way the shower area was set up had the water splashing everywhere and it was impossible to avoid. The price for a night was also very expensive considering what you get and given the location is a ways outside of the city.

The breakfast buffet was pleasant and fresh with a variety of fruits, meats, breads and juices. The dinner items are a small bit expensive, but so well cooked and flavored.
The hotel itself is gorgeous. The architecture, layout and facilities are superb.
The bar and restaurant staff are absolutely delightful. I cannot recommend them enough.
The reception staff I met were rude, unpleasant and unwelcoming. I worked in the hospitality industry to pay for my studies and these professionals would not cut it amongst even students. They attempted to double charge me at every turn, so much so that on my final night before checkout I was accosted by the receptionist for not paying for a service that I had paid in full for. I asked her to double check, and without looking back to the computer, told me the information was correct. Mortified, I checked my emails and found the receipt from two days previously. Without a word, she took my phone, examined the email, handed it back and began working on the computer. I waited a minute and asked if I could go, she said 'its fine, go' without looking up. This was the worse of three uncomfortable dealings I had with the receptionists, all attempting to double charge me for a service already paid for.

I loved the location.
it was under construction so it was noisy at times.

it’s ok
housekeeping and restaurant staff were on strike. no housekeeping. no room service.
I accidentally left a travel adapter in the room. I am very certain of it. hotel replied once saying that it’s not there and didn’t bother replying to my 2nd email. and I still had friends at the hotel who could help me pick up the item but Hótel didn’t bother.

The bedroom was a decent sized room with a view out across the lobby. It was nice and warm, the bathroom was very well equipped with all the towels you could ever need and shampoos etc.
Breakfast was brilliant, serving breakfast for pretty much anyone from wherever you cam from - cold meats, nuts, seeds, fruit, pastries, full fried breakfast the whole lot
Nothing, everything was really good.

It was a really lovely modern building. It was very clean and the staff were very informative and helpful.
For me personally the mattress was a little soft.
4.1
The staff were very friendly and attentive, the location was excellent possible to walk to the main shopping district. room was serviced and cleaned each day which I feel is rare in most European hotels.
our room was facing towards the Church which is something you pay extra for and there was constant construction outside in the car park, extremely loud from 8:30am to about 3-4pm, even we used the SPA we could still hear the drilling from the construction. we asked reception if could we change the room as it felt like our window wasn't isolated properly to the main road outside and the construction didn't help. We were denied this request.

Breakfast to expensive
4.1
Breakfast was good, they had a good selection of breads and other items to eat.
The room got really hot until we opened a window. The hot water smelled of sulfur but it was comfortable to bathe with.
There was also construction going on early in the morning on our last day but since we were leaving we paid no mind to it.
