Zweckmäßig wenn man in Gabrovo ist.

Die Lage in Gabrovo ist sehr zentral. Das kostenlose Parken.

Die klimatisierte und deutlich unterkühlte sehr große Gaststätte, die abgenutzte Bettwäsche und Handtücher. Frühstück muss extra bezahlt werden.

За една нощувка хотелът е идеален. Огромното му предимство е, че има безплатен паркинг. Местоположението е удобно, точно в центъра - може да се стигне до много места и пеша и с кола. Стаята беше чиста, има хладилник, телевизор, интернетът е достатъчно бърз, леглата са удобни.

Тъй като пристигнахме късно и напуснахме рано, нямах време да се оглеждам за неща, които да не ми харесат.

As expected from older, renovated socialist hotel

Hotel was as expected - renovated socialist hotel very near the center of Gabrovo. Reception was 24/7, we arrived after midnight and we had no problem with the check-in.

Due to the location of the hotel and extremelly hot weather, the room we had was rather noisy - both from street traffic and AC termal pumps from other rooms. Also, older hotel have specific smell, I cannot describe it but it is a mix between cleaning agents and cigarete smoke from very long time ago. We moved the beds together and under one of them we found a hair band and some snacks :D

Pleasant stay at Hotel Balkan.

-The receptionist was very professional and kind -Hairdryer was not part of the facillities, but reception is eager to borrow one -Room was clean -Working AC -Secured parking at hotel -Very good location -Nice hotel restaurant, as well as nearby restaurants

downstairs has been refurbished and is lovely

rooms old fashioned all need updating . lots of children staying very noisy

Very nice stay, super staff!

Clean, very nice staff and location very good. Beds are comfy and room has a good size.

Nothing really, maybe people smoking in the restaruant. But that is a culture collision.

The staff was friendly. Hotel has a very nice restaurant. Breakfast was great.

The airconditioner was old so it didn't work prorerly.

Nice location of the hotel and place for car parking. Nice food in the restaurant.

There was a big delay from ordering the breakfast until we received the meal. Not pleasant if you are starving.

Best location in town and nice stay.

Staff was very polite. The menu on cart was very reach and tasty. One of the rooms had nice view.

In the center Simple breakfast but good enough Parking available Late checking ok, 24h reception opened

Refreshed bathroom but shower without curtain, you have water every where Bedroom need refreshing, at least for painting

Recently refreshed rooms in a great location. The beds are a bit firm but comfortable with great pillows. Nice bathrooms, fast WiFi. The restaurant has a nice terrace and pleasant atmosphere.

Almost nothing.

It was a wedding in the hotel restaurant, so the music played loud all night, the parking was full with wedding people, so we park the car on the street in the neighborhood. In the bathroom there were no cosmetic products (shampoo, or bath creme), fortunatly we have some in luggage. The breakfast was awful, only some bread, boiled eggs and two types of sallami, come cereals, and that's all. Definitly, on another trips in Bulgaria-Gabrovo region we well NOT stay at this ugly and communist hotel.

This hotel is convenient for business travelers. Very good value for money. The best in the hotel are the location (city center), kitchen, restaurant, parking and the bed.

there was no hot water later in the evening until the next morning and the staff from the hotel were very appatic when we asked why there is no warm water. the breakfast was very very poor. no extra bread allowed.
