all is the best

The room was far better than the photos indicated, it was more of a mini suite. The staff were friendly ,efficient and unobtrusive. The position was perfect in a quiet cobbled street and next door to Kraft Beer Bar, and restaurants.
If I could find fault and this is really picky, I found the pillows a little hard..... but that is my opinion, I only commented because the questionaire box was empty!

A lovely traditional style Bulgarian guesthouse situated in the old town area of Gabrovo. The property is beautiful. The rooms were clean, comfortable and well maintained. A small breakfast was included in the price, which was very nice. The location is perfect with plenty of restaurants, cafe's, and coffee shops within walking distance. The price per night was very reasonable for such a lovely little guesthouse.
There is nothing to complain about from our stay here.

exceptionally friendly staff; lovely backyard with tables and benches, vines and cute little kittens living in a pot; amazing location on a pleasant street; clean and well-kept rooms
can't know about the other rooms but the one I stayed in doesn't have enough power outlets which is literally the only negative I can think of

The hosts' attention, the location, the appartement.

The property, which is in a quiet cobbled street but near to the centre, is beautifully kept in a traditional Bulgarian way but with plenty of modern touches. Our welcome was warm and checking in was very simple. We were given keys for our room and the front door and were escorted to out room where we were shown everything. The room which was at the back of the hotel, was spotlessly clean, overlooked the outside dining area and faced the rear gardens of houses some distance away with a side view to the hills. The narrow balcony which ran the length of the room was furnished with a small table and two stools and was really pleasant to sit out on in the stillness and quiet of the evening. The furnishings were two wrought iron beds with firm but comfortable mattresses (our preference), a coffee table, an upholstered upright chair, an upholstered wrought iron arm chair and a wardrobe. The quilts on the bed were plenty warm enough for us but additional blankets were also supplied and the air conditioning was very efficient if you were too hot or cold. The television had lots of channels available and the WiFi in the room was excellent. One thing I really liked is that the WiFi password is supplied in the room itself removing the necessity of asking for it. Cleverly tucked away in the wardrobe was a small refrigerator and an electric kettle. The bathroom was a very modern wet room furnished with a powerful shower with a constant supply of hot water and two clean towels each, as well as hand soaps on the sink. We found the hotel to be friendly, hospitable, comfortable and in a perfect position for exploring and shopping in Gabrovo.
I have short legs and the front steps were quite high but children apparently managed them well!
