amazing location
the restaurant/brewery was fully booked (we didn’t know/think about booking). we waited for a drink more than 30 min.

the hotel is really nice, the rooms are clean.
we paid a premium price tag of over 170€ for the night stay. the room was cold as the heating did not work, we were not offered any kind of compensation, although we informed the staff repeatedly about it.
One goes to a hotel to rest and wake up the next day with full energy to discover the area. we were totally tired next day. very disappointed considering the high price paid

Room, large and quiet. Accessible bathroom facilities, excellent. Very good buffet breakfast with hot and cold dishes. Nice location next to a large reservoir, with a well-maintained perimeter path for walking.
There is no restaurant inside the hotel, but they have a brewery right next door serving meals, and excellent beer. Food was your typical German schnitzel & frites, although the schnitzel was better than average.

Breakfast-very good. Lots of choice for breads, conserves, cereal, yoghurts, tea and juices. Scrambled eggs deliciously tasty and importantly, warm.
Staff very friendly and helpful.
Restaurant next door served food all day. Prices very reasonable and a nice buzzy atmosphere.
I can’t fault the hotel.

Amazing hotel with lovely views over the Losheimer See (albeit there are also rooms with views on a massive parking lot), fabulous huge balcony, great breakfast, A gem to perfectly relax from daily life. Good restaurant next door (local "Brauhaus")
Nothing at all

Nice hotel. Rooms are OK.
Local kabab shop will deliver food and it really nice.
Everything stops at 9. If you arrive late you can't get food. I've never known a hotel to stop Everything at 9.

Not much but the microbrew next door was a good restaurant.
Originally when I booked this hotel, it was promoted as a SPA hotel with sauna, solarium, Turkish bath, etc. Well when we arrived, the SPA area was closed due to "COVID" except for the massages. As the weather was not the best, we were stuck inside a hotel with little more to do that watch TV, which honestly we could have done from home (just an hour away.) The trip was really just a weekend getaway to do some relaxing.
Clearly everyone understands the COVID situation but I would have thought that there would have been substantial discounting since 90% of the hotel was closed OR at the very least, the property would have called to let us know everything was closed and would be given an option to cancel with full refund.
The hotel promotes their "and a relaxed restaurant with style like no other in Germany" however the restaurant is only open for breakfast!
Although promoted as an "unforgettable holiday" I hope to forget this hotel and the money I spent on a SPA hotel that never happened!

When booked, indicated a lake view. Ended up having view of parking lot.

My friend and I loved the view. We decided to do a weekend getaway and got ourselves a nice massage. I would definitely visit again.
Unfortunately the Spa wasn't open yet it was an amazing experience.

Location is really great! There's a nice pond with comfortable and easy promenade around, also natural highlights are nearby. Local restaurant is also exceptional - big brewery with home made beer and delicious food.
Only one thing I could note - my windows were to the parking lot, which doesn't give a nice view but for one night my stay was really perfect.

Nice view on the lake. Room on ground floor with nice seating area.
When we arrived we were told that the restaurant was closed which was a little disappointing.

Location is stunning

Friendly front desk staff. Nice location at a lake. Rooms were ok.
I booked lake view, at extra costs and did not get that. I was on the groundfloor and the trees blocked the view almost entirely. Which was a pity, as the lake was nice.
The room was very very warm and did not cool down during the night, despite the open doors.
The restaurant was closed.

the breakfast was ok but not for 4 stars
