Check in (late) was easy and we could order some drinks at the bar. The room was great, windows could be opened (I need fresh air) and the bathroom was well thought through and spacious.

Convenient for an overnight stop before crossing the Channel.
The breakfast was quite average and coffee was not good! OK for one night but wouldn't stay any longer.

Lovely location next to a lake despite it being just off the motorway. Breakfast was good value and the hotel was clean and tidy
The room was very small , not much room for suitcases. There were a group of people with dogs on the grass outside our room until quite late at night so we had to close our window in the heat and no air conditioning

The staff went above and beyond to meet our expectations! We felt welcomed and enjoyed our stay so much!
Thank you very much for making our stay such a great experience!
The walk by the lake was so peaceful and beautiful!
Our dog was welcomed, too!
The whole atmosphere is relaxed, every member of staff we met was smiling, happy, ready to help.
Great value for money.
A special mention goes to the restaurant, starting with the chef and tasty dinner, to our beautiful waitress, who was awesome! She even taught us French a little ;).
The selection of milk for coffee could be more plentiful. It was only one milk and one condensated milk satchets on the tray.
During breakfast, we've noticed it a few flies around food.

It was very noisy, sounded like they were moving furniture in the room above us

We booked the room for one night as we took the ferry the next morning to Dover. The location was perfect as we didn’t need to drive through Dunkirk. The room was very quiet and comfortable. The bathroom facilities were good and so was the lighting.
Breakfast was not great and there wasn‘t much selection.

Beautiful surroundings, kind and helpful staff and a really thoughtfully located room which gave me easy access to outdoors as I was staying with my dog.
Nothing!

Fair choice of food
I asked for cappuccino coffee, twice, and got hot chocolate.

Breakfast and helpful staff there. View on the lake when eating outside. Free parking.
Bad sound isolation. Couldn’t sleep both nights. People walking and talking in the corridor day and night. Smell in the bathroom, cracked ceiling in the shower. Somebody’s hair in the sink and shower. This was disgusting. Cleaning improvement is a must. Lumpy pillow and duvet.

Good access to ferry port at Dunkirk
Breakfast was disappointing. Machine coffee and poor buffet menu

Ground floor bedroom as on crutches and had dog was good. massively Pet friendly and lots of parking.
Not a fan of the menu in restaurant or the prices but that’s more of a personal issue.

lovely room - immaculately clean - beautiful view from window

There was a mix up with breakfast and I was approached in the morning to advise it was not included, was embarrassed in front of other guests.

Being close to the major road and motorway network, the location is great for those travelling onwards out of Dunkirk, though despite the close proximity to the roads, there was absolutely no road noise, and you could easily think you were somewhere much more remote.
The rooms are quite basic and need a little updating, but in no way are they bad. They’re clean and well looked after, and comfortable enough for a night passing through.
The staff are very polite and welcoming, and for those whose French is a little rusty, they all speak very good English, and are keen to help and support.
The on-site restaurant is good, and the food very nice. The waiter was polite and knowledgeable, and made good recommendations on food and wine. Breakfast was good, and worth booking if you have a long day ahead.
For what you get, it’s a good price for a good service. I’d stay here again if passing through Dunkirk. If, however, you’re staying in the area, you’d maybe want somewhere a little closer to the centre or the waterfront.

We enjoyed the food in the restaurant in the evening and the breakfast. The car charger was a bonus. Very convenient drive from the tunnel after an evening crossing.
all good.

Very good location for my needs. I was travelling by car from Cologne to Calais.
Despite the kitchen being closed, they were able to offer me some food, which was very welcome.
The facilities listed include Electric Vehicle charging. Despite asking if I could reserve a EV charging space I received no response from the property. As I was travelling from Cologne I needed to ensure I could charge overnight.
When I arrived I found the chargers blocked by two petrol cars, which had been parked in the EV charging spaces. When I mentioned this to the staff, they didn't apologise or offer to see if they could get the cars moved. This meant that I had to waste time charging the car at Calais, before getting on the train to the UK. Very frustrating.
The rooms had next to no sound proofing which resulted in a disturbed night sleep and I could here everything the person next door, was doing in the their bathroom. Not really what you want to hear.
Given all this and how tired the hotel looked, I felt like the stay was extremely expensive.

decent location on way to Eurotunnel for a quick overnighter
1/ it’s an army base! full of military personnel using it a s base for patrols as part of Operation Sentinel.
2/ ….however the solidiers probably eat better. the food served at the on-site restaurant was horrendous. really poor quality, most other diners also didn’t finish their plates. 1/10 for dinner. they served lukewarm fried spaghetti with their main courses

We were traveling to England so location was very important. Breakfast was plentiful and very good value.
Bathrooms needs updating.

A great stopping off point on the way south and through the tunnel. Staff were lovely and we enjoyed our stay.
Nothing. It was exactly what we needed to start our trip.

I was travelling across Europe to catch the Eurotunnel train in the morning, so arrived quite late, the staff were very helpful, l had requested a ground floor room and all was arranged without any problems. Parking is available around the hotel the location is perfect for travelling.
I really liked this for a short stop off, although for breakfast it would of been nice to have a couple of warm items, there was only scrambled eggs as a warm option.
2.0
Good location with easy access
There were military personnel staying in the hotel who were very noisy at 2.00am preventing me from sleeping. At checkout all they offered was to ask them to be quieter in future but no offer of a refund.
