Exceptional

The amazing host upgraded us to a room with a balcony on top of the restaurant. Gave us a map of the island and helped us map out the top attractions. They served amazing breakfast and dinner! Everything was 10/10. An unforgettable stay. And a plus if you're animals lovers.

Amazing relaxing stay

I’ve been meaning to write this review for so long but hadn’t had the chance. We visited The Sunset on the last week of September and I must say we were very unlucky with the weather. Our ferry from Naples had been cancelled due to weather conditions so we almost didn’t make it to Capri. As soon as Luciana knew about the situation, she got in touch with us to provide us with a few alternatives; she was very understanding and offered us to reschedule our stay but this was not an option as our itinerary was fixed. Fortunately we managed to get to Capri from Sorrento and couldn’t be more happy we finally got to her place. She welcomed us with tea/coffee and delicious homemade cake which made us feel like home. Luciana couldn’t be more helpful; she gave us recommendations for places to visit and restaurants around the area, all of which were excellent. She also helped us with the restaurant bookings and arranged a taxi for us to take us to/from the ferry. The taxi driver and his wife (Aldo and Magdalena) were also very helpful; Luciana arrange us a quick tour with them to visit a few places around the island on our last day, which was a very good idea since we were travelling with a toddler and elderly people. P.S. Grazie per tutto Luciana, we wish to visit your place in the near future xx

Excellent accomodation- thanks Luciana!

Everything was perfect! The view is spectacular, the room is great. Special thanks to Luciana, the host, who helped us in the middle of the night - my son was ill - and gave us all her support. Also, she helped us planning our trips and gave as precious informations that are harder to find on-line.

All was great, highly recommend!

We had a great time staying at this B&B, we enjoyed the tranquility of the place with very nice views, the host Luciana was very helpful at all times, providing you with plans and recommendations. Every morning we enjoyed freshly prepared breakfast.

Great place with a good view at an awesome price

Very Nice place with a great view and host Host Luciana: Very friendly and gave us incredible tips on what to do, including a great boat tour around the island (she was our capri mom) Location: 15 minutes walking from a bus stop where you can go eveywhere around the island: Capri, Faro, blue grotto, marina grande. There are plenty of buses around (sometimes a little Crowded). There are restaurants around and a supermarket closing at 8:30 for more affordable meals. Breakfast: Really complete with everything from fruit, cereal, yogurt, juice, cappuccino, all served in an amazing terrace. Overall: Great place to stay at an affordable price for the island, would 100% recommend and come back.

Amazing Views

Well setup and beautifully maintained B&B. The host Luciana, is a very warm, welcoming person that was readily available for any questions and helpful tips. Each morning she helped us plan our day ahead and thanks to her impressive network of friends and family on the island we were able to enjoy a popular beach club and a relaxed restaurant meal with a larger group of friends. We’d highly recommend staying with Luciana.

The hostess was extremely kind and welcoming and took a lot of time to explain to us the island and guide us on what to do. She made reservations for us when we asked, connected us with her acquaintances on the isle to ensure we got excellent treatment and service, and was almost like a mom-away-from-home, taking good care of us. Thank you!

Our hostess, Luciana, was delightful! The B & B is located in a beautiful setting...and away from the crowds of tourists. We could easily walk to everything Anacapri had to offer, including hiking trails, piazzas, restaurants and points of interest. Luciana graciously helped us plan our activities, including a boat tour around the island. We had a wonderful and relaxing visit!

Nice view and great host! Recommended!

We spent one week at Sunset B&B during very low season. My opinion and mark was strongly influenced by our final wellbeing. We like walking during holidays and we had only cabin trolleys, so location was good and convenient for us. Narrow and stepped streets around were not difficult for us. Position above the village is quiet and with a very nice view. Belvedere Migliara and Parco Filosofico are not far (15 min walk strongly recommended). Easy and pleasant walking to Piaza Caprile, village center or Villa San Michele, where you can take the bus to Capri or Marina Grande. Taking Scala Fenicia is a better experience, but be very careful (ask host before, she can advise you)! We had the best room, very good to rest after a long hiking on the island mountain. People around were quiet. Breakfast was reach in local fruits from the garden. Strong Italian coffee, local cheese, tomato, pie etc. Grazie mille Luciana! I recommend for couples to spend several days at Il Tramonto and visit all island. You’ll feel better. Remember the ancient Romans: De gustibus non disputandum est!
