Nena treated us to a lovely home cooked breakfast with herbs and vegetables from her garden. The house, the setting and the town are wonderful. The only regret we had was that we couldn’t stay there longer! Highly recommend!

The food was excellent

This was one of the best places we stayed in Greece. The host is incredible and the breakfast the best.

Our host made us feel most welcome. She is embedded in the community and knowledge of the Menalon trail was invaluable. We were lent maps that helped to make our hiking holiday work perfectly despite the weather, which lead to route changes. The guest house is beautiful, great breakfast and easy parking. We loved staying here and we have already booked another stay. Spring flowers in the hills were fragrant and vibrant. The butterflies in the meadows were tremendous
This is blank because we don't have any grumbles at all.

Nena and her fabulous, home-cooked breakfasts! Our kids couldn’t believe their luck when, after a fresh feta, tomato and herb omelette with homemade bread, they got chocolate cake…
Also, the views, the walks, fresh air, open fires, monasteries to visit

Our stay was lovely. Such a cosy place, with great care from Miss Nena and great attention to detail

The house is beautiful and very cozy. The location is stunning! The owner Nena is extremely personable and makes a delicious breakfast.

Home-made, delicious breakfast: Nena's bread, pies, and oven-baked frittata, together with her mom's selection of local fruit jams and pastries help kick-start your day. Strong coffee and coziness. The location is a quiet, picturesque village in the heart of northern Arcadia, the land of myths and legends, poetry and inspiration. The rooms are homey and comfy. Enjoyed the fireplace and the beautiful private balcony with the amazing view. At night, you can see the starry sky. Nena knows about all the trails in the wider area (she helped build the trail network), and will give you all the info you need about local delicacies and secrets. I am already looking forward to my next visit!
everything was perfect (mind you, I am not an easy-going person!)

What a stunning property! A picture perfect cozy room with both central heating and a fireplace. I had a private terrace with a beautiful view of town and mountains (from the room too!). The bed was fantastic - I like a somewhat firmer mattress.
Nena was very kind and hospitable, her homemade breakfast werved in the common living space was delicious.
Not to mention easy access to town and to the Menalon trail.
I wish I had booked more nights.
Absolutely nothing!

Great hospitality, beautiful location and view, very nice rooms, clean, very good and pleasant breakfast. Village is beautiful. Very helpful guidance on choosing the best hiking-tour for us at the Lusios Gorge. Thanking Nena for this all. We will most probably visit again.

Beautiful rooms. Been in the Peloponnese for 2 weeks and this was our favorite place by far. Host Nena spoke great English and gave great tips about hiking the Menalon trail. Fabulous breakfast with homemade bread, jams, pastries and egg dishes.
Nothing. It was wonderful.

Everything! The location was perfect for exploring the area, our room was cozy and clean, and our host was so helpful and made us feel welcome there.
The only downside was that we had to leave too soon!

The room, the personal attention of our host, Nena
Not so easy to get too, but that's also the charm of staying in Mpelleiko
4.8
Lovely guest house very well refurbished in a simple and authentic style
Stunning view of Stemnitsa village and Arcadia mountains
Nena, our host, made us feel very welcomed and shared good tips as well as more personal stories
The access to the guest house from the road is not easy to find. A sign at the appropriate crossroad could be added for the first arrival to the place

Beautiful garden with bio diversity, lovely room with an excellent view. Tasteful and delicate home made breakfast from local produce and family recepies. Nena spends time with her guests explaining about the premecies and the area offering hands on advice for touring.

A warm welcome from Nena. Delicious breakfast: homemade cake and bread. Really delicious. Make your own coffee and tea in the freely accessible kitchen. Extensive explanation and advice about the menalon trail and maps (info point about trail in village was closed) Caring and careful with the Corona guidelines (registration and hygiene).
Nice view, ans also a little climb to the house on a good path.
Some days later after we left, we phoned her for advice, and she kindly toke her time to help us even though she was busy at that moment. The room we had had a two persons bed and a seperate bed and a nice own terace with a viw.
4.8
The room was beautiful (inquire about a room with an unobstructed view of the village if that's important to you), and the lush, perfectly maintained guesthouse grounds made for the perfect mountain setting. It's also only a short walk from the village center.
However, the best part by far was our host, Nina. We were only staying a single night, but she spent significant time with us highlighting nearby hiking options (ask her about the frigid mountain stream), and the food at the taverna she recommended in a neighboring village was the best we had during our entire trip. Nina's breakfast was also fresh and delicious (fruit salad, Greek omelet, bread and homemade honeys).
If you're looking to escape Athens, this is the place for you.

Nena is super friendly, speaks all the English words, Knows all about the Menalon trail (beware of muscle ache).

The room was nice and large. has a lot of soul. the terras has a fairytale view and a funny chubby cat (the only big cat on the island;)

Nena takes care of this place and of her guests with her heart. She did her very best in order to please us and we appreciated all her good advices. The breakfast is very good and was the best we had during our stay in Greece. The room is very comfortable.
Everything was good actually.
We have just to say that it was not easy to find the house with Google maps but we finally found the good road.
