the room is nice, clean and location is good and breakfast is good
I have to leave at 10 am and the reception didn’t allow me to use a toilet to change my clothes after a formal meeting

Due to the price category and shared bathroom I was a bit worried if the place will be safe initially. When I arrived, I was given my own princess tower with just one or two other rooms. My neighbour was snoring anytime I woke up so a perfect stay. :) I remember the bathroom was supposed to be shared, however in my case, shared was just the toilet. Shower was part of the room, as well as a sink. Great is also the well maintained kitchen where you can make a big tea in the morning.
Tip: For a good espresso you can visit Element Boulders in the neighbourhood. They don’t want entry fee to just buy a coffee or snack; the place is cozy, coffee great and wi-fi stable.
Nothing really, best stay for such price ever.

Friendly staff.

The staff is very friendly at first sight. Due to the owner living within the building, there's someone close when you got a question.
The breakfast room is accessible at all times. So when you need to store something cool, heat a meal, or like to have an apple you can enter that room with your room key at every time.
You get free W-LAN.
The furnishing is quite cheap (low-quality). As I entered my room, it smelled bad originated from the bathroom. TV only showed public service television. The rooms are quite small what's ok if you only stay for the night. In my room, the floor wasn't cleaned and the prepared glass had stains.
The surrounding is not attractive. There's only a little organic shop nearby or a gas station if you need anything. Due to a lack of noise protection, I heard loud snoring from a room somewhere on the floor above me.
What for me was worst is the lacking possibility to heat the room. As I arrived at about 4 pm the heating was switched off. I like to take a shower after a long trip but that wasn't possible due to the cold in my room. I had to put over my day clothes and two pairs of socks to keep me warm over the night. For me, it's not ok to switch off the heating while outside you got 5 degrees Celsius. I slept in a room on the first floor, below this room there's an open parking space.

What really makes me a bit angry when I think back is I asked the owner to keep my luggage till noon at the reception. His employee took it the next day and placed it securely behind a curtain ("until you come back and get it"). As I arrived at 11:30, my luggage was placed on a chair right next to the entrance. They read my comment on the asked evaluation form. I was instantly asked in an inappropriate voice why I marked the room wasn't clean. I had in text admitted that it smelled. Now I told them that the floor wasn't clean. I got no excuse for the missing heating (as the employee told me in the morning that's a problem that repeatedly occurred due to the owner). I got no explanation why my luggage was taken to the front where anybody could take it.
Friendliness is a state of mind. If you cannot cope with critique, don't ask your guests for it.

Good location, close to Central Station, in a colorful neighbourhood (lots of street art). Quiet & clean. There is a communal room, where you can cook, make coffee or tea ,and there is a refrigerator. If you're not that mobile; keep in mind that there is no elevator, but you can ask for a room on the first floor ( if its available of course). Check in times are limited, but they have key boxes, where you can pick up the key to your room. Would definitely stay here again.

excellent staff and service ; loved the community kitchen with sweets and apples available; v clean room with thoughtful touches such as maps and hangers with actual hooks
curtain a bit thin, and it gets quite bright even late as 11pm or early as 5am. an additional layer of curtain could work for me
