Wonderful hotel for a great little trip to Kassel

5-10 min walk to the city center parking place right behind the hotel - foc my room in the 6th floor was great - quiet, big, comfortable Sauna and gym I didn't use - heard that you have to pay 10$ extra to use the Sauna Could check in 3 hours earlier! :-)

I have nothing to complain!

Im großen und ganzen gut mit Luft nach oben.

Sehr nettes Personal, saubere Zimmer, kostenloser Parkplatz, gut gelegen.

Im Zimmer konnte man kein Fenster öffnen, dadurch war es meines Erachtens zu teuer für den Preis. Ebenso war das Frühstück für 18 Euro viel zu teuer zum Angebot. Andere Hotels in der gleichen Sternen Kategorie bieten Frühstück zum gleichen Preis das ganze Wochenende an und haben eine bessere Auswahl.

Ruime kamers, groot bed, locatie op loopafstand van leuk centrum. Schone kamer met een fijne douche. Één nacht verbleven op doorreis.

While Hotel Reiss had some positive aspects, but there are areas that need improvement.

The room size at Hotel Reiss was just right, and its condition was up to standard, although nothing special. Some members of the staff deserve praise for being genuinely nice and helpful. Their service was adequate and met my basic expectations.

One aspect that needs attention is the location of the room, which overlooked a noisy and odorous street, detracting from the overall comfort. Customer service from Mr. Neugebauer was subpar, and I felt he could benefit from additional training on how to better interact with customers. He was unhelpful, and his demeanor bordered on the disrespectful, which is unacceptable in a hospitality setting. Moreover, the hotel could improve its offering by providing simple amenities such as complimentary peanuts or other snacks. Their absence was noticeable, so remember to bring your own refreshments if you're planning to stay. Furthermore, an issue of significant discomfort was the broken air conditioner, especially considering my stay during the summer months. Despite reporting the issue, the lack of action taken by the hotel to address this problem was highly dissatisfactory. Such disregard for guest comfort needs to be addressed promptly to ensure a more enjoyable stay for future guests.

Great, a good base to explore to town.

Great old hotel, right near railway station & close to city centre. Good size room & friendly staff.

The traffic light out the front of our room was constantly bleeping, not there fault obviously.

Very pleasant hotel, I would highly recommend.

The staff were very helpful. Room was clean, bed very comfortable. Excellent location.

Air conditioning could have been cooler, only felt the benefit if standing right under it. Although we were moved to another room and given a fan.

it’s alright for a short stay nothing spectacular and they don’t have a restaurant or bar

overall clean and nice rooms

The receptionist had no clue on which places are around the hotel which could serve food. The sink was blocked which I realised immediately after checking in. I told her about it and nothing was done nor was she showing any concern whatsoever. Lack of training and knowledge of hospitality which was clear
