The walls are as thin as paper and there is echo in the building

It was a really nice big apartment. With comfty bed, in good localisation.

There was a strange sewer odour from the bathroom. Not sure what caused it, but otherwise the place was fantastic for the price.

Room was very clean. Host was friendly. Great location

I have a bicycle and I could keep it in my room easily accessible through the French doors.
The bath was a bit old and flaky and the shower head had no fitting

The property is basic but the staff are very helpful
It feels like it needs a refurb.

Check-in went smoothly and apartment was big
There was no toilet paper

The price was good, considering the low season, it was cheap. Location and staff were ok as well. Aircon worked.
Room was fairly clean.
Everything else was not so bright... Everything was super old. Despite the room was ok, blankets and sheets had some stains. And it was not enough toilet paper for 2 people. Bathroom looked like it has never been repaired since building was built (Probably somewhere in 15Th century). Full of cracks and dents. The hand washing sink was leaking, so all the floor got wet. Off course, no soap, shampoo or anything to at least was your hands.
But the WORST thing, that the water in the shower was suuuuper COLD! It was barely warm enough to wash your hand! We could not even take a shower. That was miserable! After long sweaty day, you can't even take a shower without freeze yourself.

We spent one night at the place and it was fine. The owner met us for a quick check-in. The apartment is not new but it looks like they renovate it part by part. it has mostly everything needed for a short stay.
There was a smell I the kitchen (that is common for Portugal as there is very humid and salt air), so it’s challenging to spend the time in there. Although we saw special devices that normalise humidity inside, so hope it will be better. after heavy rain at night we found few medium floods under the windows in rooms and bathroom, also from the chimney in the kitchen.

Spacious, cheap, good location, clean towels
Very cold (one tiny heater for basically 7 rooms is NOT enough during winter), lukewarm water (hot shower really looks different), so cold and humid that the floors stayed wet for our whole stay. Nobody at the reception, when we'd found the clening lady (quite nice and helpfull actually) they didn't even know we'd booked for that day and we had to wait more than 1 hour in strong rain outside so she can clean and prepare the appartment for us. The owner/receptionist/whoever wasn't even there. Very bad equipment (it wouldn't kill them to put few more glasses or cups there, at least 1/person), cabinets could use some deep cleaning (especially in the kitchen they were quite sticky). Tiny trash bin which wasn't cleaned during our stay (how long do you expect it'll work for 4 people?! We would take it outside ourselves, but there weren't any extra bags provided). No aircon (we would use it for heating, but can't imagine during summer). Overall, for the money, it was way bigger than we expected and it has some potencial, its just a pity that it's so badly equipped and maintained.

The TV had a huge range of channels, in multiple languages. The wifi worked well. A good-sized room. The aircon worked.
Some maintenance issues e.g. mismatching curtains that fail to cut out light because no shutters on the big windows; no support for the shower attachment.
The tech was up to date but not the fixtures and fittings of the room and bathroom, which gave a feeling of uncleanliness.

The owner is extremely kind and helpful, the location is just near everything, the place is quiet and comfortable. Highly recommended 👍

Basic accommodation for a fair price. Always fun to stay here. Nice corner of town with great choice of eateries, a nearby SPAR shop and close to the dock and beach.
3.5
Great location close to everything you need and want to go.
Not really an outdoor area to sit/chill or hang some wetsuits dry (yes very important for surfers haha).

Everything was great: staff, location, place itself.
No complaints at all.

good location and value for the money
Not very clean and the room was a demp.
3.5
A really great place to stay, very central to everything you need within Sagres. Comfortable room, spacious and well equipped for travellers.
3.5
Large, comfortable room. Very clean. Walking distance to town center and beaches. Good value for money. Easy access by car and street parking close by. Friendly staff, present on-site often (so far in many other places in Portugal staff isn't physically around much).
The description mentions 'kitchen', but this is only a fridge, microwave and 2 glasses. Even for just making breakfast this doesn't help much. Description is misleading.
