Good value for money

Very clean, great location, balconies for all rooms, polite and helpful staff, great value for money.

No working TV channels, thin walls so you can hear conversations from hallway and next rooms, old doors, not closing properly.

The staff was very polite, and they checked us in hours ahead of the check-in time. The hotel is very clean and they kept on cleaning the rooms each day. Great position, 1 minute away from restaurants and markets. Nice pool area, with tables and sun chairs. All rooms have balconies. I highly recommend the hotel.

The doors of the rooms are kinda old and they don't close up properly so the wind makes them shake and constantly make noise. The cable TV didn't work, so no TV for a week. If other guests are a bit loud, you can hear everything through the walls. They had no working bar or restaurant when we were there. But all of this things are minor and didn't make our stay any less enjoyable.

We liked it!

Friendly and nice place close to the beach, shops, restaurants, doctor, pharmacy. The accomodation has a pool, balcony and nice owner who helps you everything you need. We could park in front of the building on the street.

There was no dish sponge, so it was bad to wash dishes.

Unforgettable experience

I loved the proximity to everything; the beach, the bars and restaurants, transport, ect. Even on the property, the pool and garden were amazing to lounge in the morning. The room was very comfortable and well furnished. The family hosting is super friendly and always ready to assist with anything.

The room had a stove but no dishwashing cleaning things like a dish cloth.

Nice hotel in Malia

Stella Maria Hotel is a very nice hotel. We really enjoyed our stay here. We also opted for breakfast, which is simple, but good. We received clean towels everyday. The hotel it’s located in a quite place. Also, it’s very close to the beach. You have a lot of restaurants nearby and you can take a walk if you want to go in old town (which I totally recommend it). The host is very nice and she can give you more advices on what to do or where to eat nearby. Thank you, Stella Maria! ❤️

In some nights there was a little bit of noise, because of some teenagers who were staying in the hotel. But in the end it was ok. They were just having fun.

We took a different room to start with which wasn’t great things were broken etc. We spoke to management who accommodated a switch to the previous room if stayed in

- the room was not clean - the airco is right on your face - the rooms have a very bad acoustic isolation, you hear everything - a lot of noise during the night (you will awake 5 times per night) - pictures are taken by a very good photographer but the reality gives you an older room - fridge makes a lot of noise - toilet almost fell apart - very old and small shower with no pressure on the water, takes you ages

Perfect stay

The hotel is very close to everything you could need, the strip, the beach, restaurants, bars, shops. Everything. Fairly quiet hotel so no issues getting a sunbed and the rooms were of a good standard and clean.
