Pleasant

Simple breakfast. Great location in the ancient village, not far from hiking trails. Beautiful views from the terrace.

No facilities in the room (wardrobe, table, etc.) Poor plumbing. One sink for four rooms so teeth brushing and morning washing is a bit difficult.

Nice area for hiking.

The location was nice, with great views. They provided tea and internet in a common room which was nice. Our room had rock walls, but no window. Breakfast was included and nice.

I felt uncomfortable with no windows.

Good

Village is very nice in general and feels good to be there. The nature and sunsets are greaf. Owner of the place was very kind, offered us also a tea and gave us whatever we asked: towels, blankets, or to change the heater as our did not work. People kindly gave us everything so we would feel more comfortable. Very kind people in general.

It was very cold in the room (January) and gas stove did not work properly even after being changed. It smelled a lot of gas after using it and ofcourse during the night it has to be turned off because of the risk to health. Towels and blankets seemed to be not so clean as well.

beautiful place with warm people

The people are amazing. We arrived late (20:30 pm) and they started to prepare food for us right away. The place is also really beautiful, especially in spring when you can enjoy the sunrise from the roof terrace. The rooms were clean and warm.

Very welcoming hosts. Beautiful landscape and good location to visit Dana reserve. Food was OK.

Gas heater in the room doesn't feel safe and smells a bit, shower drain didn't work.

Nice people. Hostel close to trails.

It was really cold and windy. Heating was not good enough therefore we were freezing during night. Wi-fi was functional only near reception.

Cheaper hostel in town

Perfect place to start a trekking, staff is nice and helpfull, food is good. Cheaper than other places.

Nice location but the place could be cleaner

Breakfast was really nice and location also, we could enjoy a beautiful sunset on the terrace. The village of Dana is a quiet place and you can easily start a trail from Dana moon hostel.

First of all shared bathrooms doors weren’t closing. They need to be repaired. Bathroom itself was dirty. We had mosquitos in the room so it wasn’t pleasant quiet night as I would expect. Dinner was tasty but there was just one dish in three different options and it was pricy comparing to other places.

It was a easy booking that we could check in quickly. Furthermore the owner helped us planning activitys so we felt well informed for our hike. In addition he was given us something against the mosquitoes that we had a good sleep. The location of the Dana Moon is good starting trekkingtours from the Dana Valley. All in all we would come again.

relax, simplicity and nature

I work in Jordan since a while, and Dana is the place where I go when I am stressed and i want to relax. Dana is my personal paradise in Jordan, peaceful, surrounded by the beauty of a marvellous landscape and Dana Moon hotel is my cocoon that helps me to regenerate every time that i go there. I escape the chaos of Amman and I totally relax in the peace of Dana. I'm not looking for luxury, but simplicity and nature. The owner, Rami, makes me feel at home, he is always very friendly.

Mosquitos, not in the room, but on the terrace. Bring a lotion with you :).

Book the Dana Tower Hotel!

Warm shower. Location next to Dana Tower Hotel where the food is better 😀 It was unfortunately fully booked.

The owner. We felt like his personal ATM rather than being welcome. Food (dinner and breakfast) were small portions, tea only after asking, water had to be purchased, towels only after asking...

Very bad

Hot water in a shower.

The communication was terrible. There is no reception at all. Sometimes there is only one guy who comes, but doesn't speak English. No one told us where and when is the breakfast. I had to call the owner to ask and when we went there the food was almost over. We didn't find any person who can say the wi-fi password and in the end it didn't work at all. Everything around is on construction and does not look like prepared for living there. Room is very cold and there is no heater. The door and 2/3 beds were broken. And the price is really expensive.

Good place for one night and short stay. Beautiful view, clean, reasonable price.

This object needs some renovation - then it will be perfect.
