About this house rental
We love coming up with our family and friends and think you will too. The floor plan is great for multiple families or groups with 6 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and 2 living spaces. The upstairs has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. One is a ensuite. The downstairs is the same but one of the bedrooms is a bunk room with 4 beds. If you need an extra beds, you'll find a pull out couch in the downstairs and there is a trundle bed if you need a place for another child. You'll find a hot tub on the deck next to the screened-in porch and a pool table and ping pong table downstairs. The house sits on 3 acres with woods all around. We have seating inside for 16 as well as dining for 8 more on the deck and porch.
In the winter months, we would strongly recommend 4-wheel drive vehicles for the secondary roads and for our driveway, which is steep. We do our best with plowing but it is not guaranteed because the plowing services handle the commercial property first. It does not happen often but when we have ice, you may have to de-ice, sand, and shovel.
We welcome up to 2 dogs but there is a pet fee.
I am always happy to answer questions. It is sometimes difficult to navigate all your choices! I rent on VRBO for my family vacations too so I understand the need to make sure you it is right for your group.

Enjoyed our week long stay. Property was as described. Overall the house was clean-baseboards and light fixtures needed a bit of dusting. Lower level had a bit of a musty smell. Beds were great. Kitchen was small but functional. Plenty of space to spread out. Kids enjoyed the game room. Adults enjoyed the screened in porch. The drive way was a bit tricky but after getting up it the first time we knew better how to navigate it. The drive into town was about 5 minutes on a winding mountain road and we saw a family of deer several different times. Owner was great to work with and replied quickly when I had a couple of questions. Would definitely consider staying again.

We found the property to be just as it was listed. It was clean and well stocked for all our cooking needs. Just a few minutes into town. Driveway is a little tricky going up the side of the mountain and we had 5 cars so we maxed out the parking spaces. Only negative is there were many light bulbs out and one area was the stairs going down stairs. We had an older group and they could not see the steps. Almost all the fan lights had bulbs out but were too high for us to put a new ones in. We would go back.

Excellent communication with the owner! Perfect cabin with lots of space to spread out the adults from the kids! Loved the porch!

Great location to explore Boone, Blowing Rock, Banner Elk and all the attractions around the area.

This home was PERFECT! Amenities were great, and the lay out was just right for our large family! Would definitely stay here again!

Our stay was great! The house is designed in such a way that the 15 of us were able to be in a number of different places in the house!!! Lots of space and privacy upstairs and downstairs! The patios were huge and the hot tub was an added plus! The house was very close to many shopping places. We had a great time! Thinking about making this house a traditional trip to the mountains!

This property is located in a prime area. Very close to popular attractions in Boone and Blowing Rock. Very clean and well maintained. Very cozy yet very specious. We definitely look forward to renting again!

We LOVED this cabin. It was big and roomy and comfy. There were 5 couples and we had plenty of room to spread out or all congregate by the TV. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate for us to enjoy the nice porch. While we did not cook a big meal, the kitchen was stocked with plenty of dishes and anything we might have needed. The hosts were prompt when contacted about anything before or during our trip and very pleasant. We would absolutely rent this cabin again.
Just a note. Us big kids came to the Tweetsie Christmas Train. If you haven't been, we highly recommend it. Old or young. The lights were beautiful. Although a little soggy out but we didn't let it ruin a great time.

This property was absolutely stunning! Completely clean and it looked just like the pictures! Had an amazing time and will definitely go back!

We all had a good time as a group. However, there were many things we had to just overlook. There was not enough lighting in the hallway and down the stairs. The kitchen stove and oven were both dirty as well the inside of the refrigerator. The bedposts on all the beds had obviously not been dusted for quite a while. There were also cobwebs from the bedside lamp up to the bedpost, as well as cobwebs in the corner of a couple of bedrooms. The room with the bunk beds had dog hair on the covers. Also there was mildew on most of the shower curtains. The porch furniture was dirty and there were leaves piled up that looked like they had been there since last year. The hot tub smelled strong with bleach and was unusable. In the VRBO description it indicated that the driveway was "a little tricky". That sure is an understatement. It was downright scary to navigate. Then when you reached the top of the driveway at the front of the house, you barely had room to turn around to go back down. Sorry to say, but this is the most disappointed I've been in a VRBO property in the 10-12 years I've been renting. Homeowner should look into a new house cleaning service.

House is very private and close to Downtown Boone. Covered Patio is where were spent most of our time. Screened in and lots a seating.

This home was beautiful and accommodates big or multiple families comfortably. We spent 100% of our time on the screened in porch making memories when we weren’t out exploring, which was daily, as there was so much to do. The most breathtaking views did not disappoint, such a beautiful part of the country. We ate out the majority of the time and enjoyed everywhere we went, Vicious Biscuit was my fav and we all enjoyed the Daniel Boone Inn family style meal very much. Thank you so much for letting us make priceless memories in your lovely home. We hope to come back to NC soon!

The pictures for the house are exactly what you get. We had 8 people and 2 dogs and we were never in each others way. Hot tub is awesome, and the porches were so relaxing to sit after a hard days hike. The driveway was a little rough, but hey, you're in the mountains. There were minor issues and Hunter immediately responded and had the issues fixed the next day. I highly recommend this house for a large family stay.

Four Seasons is a lovely, comfortable home. There were plenty of bedrooms and living space for everyone. We really enjoyed the screened in porch. Having 2 dining tables is such a plus. The only downside is the lack of yard for doggies and for children to play in, although the porches are fun. Trash pick-up was late, but Hunter was wonderfully responsive and quick to get if fixed. Never did figure out the vacuum to clean up the dog hair. You might want to ask about that before you're about to leave.

Four Seasons is in a perfect location for exploring the Blowing Rock, Boone and Banner Elk area. Our family loved everything about the house. The large screened porch was a hit every morning and evening and the kids enjoyed the lower level game area. There was ample room for all 9 of us and with 6 bedrooms, everyone had space of their own. The house was well equipped with plenty of kitchen needs and nice bedding for comfort. Would visit again.

Perfect for a large family. Lots of seating, tables, and the screened-in porch was a big plus! Close to several charming towns. It was a great vacation!

We had an absolute blast! The location, the charm of the home and all the amenities, made a relaxing adventure for everyone. We loved the porch time and the easy access fireplace. Plenty of room and table space. Thank you for sharing you lovely mountain retreat, with my famoly and friends.

The Four Seasons is a beautiful home with lots of room for a big family or group. Once a year, our children, grandchildren, myself, and husband go away to spend quality time "under one roof". This home was perfect for us!! The property owner, Hunter Buxton, was very friendly and easy to work with!!

What a fantastic place to stay! My family came together for my sons wedding, and we really enjoyed ourselves! The cabin is very roomy and feels like home. The communication was great and very accommodating. We will definitely stay here again if we come up!!

Professional pictures hid many of the cosmetic issues well. Very glad to hear many will be addressed. Really love the location so we’ll be back to the area.

Property was as stated. Spent the weekend visiting area and skiing so not a lot of time spend in house but was very spacious for 2 families and kids loved the pool table and pingpong table

Great house for our group. Beautiful views and large enough for our large group. Super accommodating and very responsive through text and the app. One thing that would be nice is if there was a secondary fridge somewhere. Went to Boone one day and Blowing Rock another and it was a short drive to both.

This property was exactly what we needed for our trip to Boone and the surrounding areas. The owners were great to deal with and the house did not disappoint.

Great location and plenty of space for our family. Nice house and we enjoyed our visit.

Our family of 10 had an amazing time in Blowing Rock at this property. The home was spacious and very comfortable! We look forward to visiting here again!!!

This property is well appointed and very family friendly, for our family Christmas gathering of 9 adults, and 4 kids 4- 7 years old. Plenty of seating, sleeping space, beautiful mountain scenery and inside and outside safe space for the kids.

You cannot beat the location of this house! It was perfect for our crew of 6 adults and 4 little kids as we celebrated Christmas early. We had more than enough room. The hosts were so easy to communicate with and left very clear instructions. We were such a quick drive to Tweetsie, Boone, and Blowing Rock. Could not have asked for a better weekend!

We stayed here with my wild and crazy extended family for my son’s graduation weekend. Everyone had plenty room. We had plenty of room to come together and still had room to isolate when we needed a moment of peace. The location was perfect! We were moments away from APP State. Thank you for a great visit!

We loved this house. The living room with fireplace was my favorite! We all enjoyed this house so much!!

Great location and will see about renting again. Great communication from owner.

We had the best time! Plenty of space for three families and such a great location close to Boone and Blowing rock! Beds were all very comfortable and we loved the fireplace. Owners were very responsive and the home had everything we needed! We would definitely stay again.

4 couples. Convenient to Blowing Rock and Boone. Had a great time.
4.8
Great place for our 3 families and total of 10 people for the whole week. Nicely furnished living space and bedrooms. Plenty of eating space so we all could eat together at the two large tables. Kitchen was fully equipped. Loved the screened in porch and wrap around deck, hot tub, pool table and ping pong table. We had some rainy days but enough to do inside and in Boone & Blowing Rock which were all within a 10-minute drive for restaurants, shopping and groceries. The bedrooms were nicely furnished and cozy, but the bunk beds were a challenge for our 20-year-old couple, but they managed. Extra rollaway bed in one bedroom was great for our parents with a 3-year-old. Driveway was steep and a challenge with leaves & rain, but we were pros by midweek. The bottom parking was great for extra parking and turning around. Hunter was quick to respond to our questions and her husband on how to start the gas fireplace which took several attempts but was warm and cozy on those rainy days. Would come back again.

Our group of 13 consisted of family and friends attending our son's wedding in the area. The 2 step entrance to the house worked well for an elderly family member using a wheelchair (with help). The home is very comfortably furnished and is very pretty. We made good use of the well stocked kitchen---plenty of dishes and pots and pans. We loved the outdoor spaces: screened porch and deck were great. We did not use the hot tub. Six bedrooms and 4 baths made it easy for everyone to get ready in the morning. It was nice to have the large downstairs common area for the 20 somethings to have their own space as desired.
The host, Hunter, was incredibly quick with replies to my questions. We really had no issues with the driveway and it is nice that it is paved. We only had some rain during our stay, so not sure how we'd do with snow on the driveway. We would absolutely stay here again. We loved it!!

Plenty of room for all with lots of privacy for each. Extra large dining table made meals fun. Close to downtown blowing rock.
