Best host ever together with a stunning apartment

The view is stunning but the heart of everything is the lovely host Mike whose character is reflected in all the nice details such as the wonderful breakfast, the beautiful plant lights in the evening and his commitment to give everything for his guests. Mike gives great tips where to go and is a very helpfulness person in general which makes you feel at home.

Perfect retreat with a hot tub and views

Mike is an amazing host and the property is peaceful, private and just what we needed. The hot tub was especially nice to return to in the evenings!! We loved staying here and would definitely come back.

The water in Paihia is hard (mineral rich). Still drinkable, and not limited to baywaterviews - we experienced it everywhere we went in the bay of islands.

A lovely place with spectacular views with one of the best Breakfast and personalised services.

An amazing property with a fantastic view of the Bay of Islands, wow. The room is spacious and well equipped with a comfortable King or bigger bed. Breakfast is a fantastic treat with fresh fruit and if you want, cooked breakfast as well. Done to your liking as you sit, absolutely fantastic. Mike also tells you some of the best info on the area with the best places and beaches to visit.

Very relaxing, reasonable, comfortable and welcoming.

The location and views are excellent, on a quiet street with no traffic noise. Mike also services the rooms everyday after he has cooked breakfast, chatted with the guests and offered advice as to where to go and what to do.

Absolutely fabulous!

Mike the host was excellent. He was very knowledgeable about the different areas and gave us some good tips. Attention to detail. Everything was perfect. Beautiful scenery from our room overlooking the bays. Breakfast was superb. Sat out on our balcony where breakfast was served. The room was serviced every day. Everything spotlessly clean. Will definitely go back again. Can't recommend this enough.

Our stay was relaxing and restful.

We were greeted and shown to our room by the friendly owner. The room was beautifully presented and surprising large. It was on par with an exclusive hotel room. It was a very comfortable space. Breakfast was included. This was a full continental and cooked breakfast. It was beautifully presented and very tasty.

We could not fault the room, service or location.

Beautiful place with stunning views and very kind owner.

The view over the bay is stunning, especially from the upstairs room. The house is in a quiet neighbourhood, close to the Haruku falls. Mike is a very kind and helpful person, offering lots of advise in advance (you will get an email from him when you book) and while we were there. The breakfast is also very delicious.

Everything was really exceeding our expectations. We could have cooked some mussels if the room had a small plate to cook, which was clear that is has not. The room just has a fridge, but not a full kitchen.

Quiet, clean and cozy getaway

Extremely clean and well furnished, lovely views, very comfortable. Enjoyed the breakfast very much.

it is about 5mins drive from main town, or 15mins to kerikeri so do need a car (plenty of parking though)

Breathtaking views quiet romantic spa stay

Breakfast was amazing. Mikes knowledge of the area was so appreciated and helpful. Very quiet, views were breathtaking and after a day of activities the spa was divine so be able to soak in.

Bang for every Buck.. ;)

We totally liked the spacious room and the marvellous ocean view from the room. Mike was so good and made sure we have a comfy stay. He served us both day amazing breakfast and being a local gave us his years of travel wisdom. We had a great time here and we will surely be staying again here in our next visit to Paihia...

A must stay if you’re stopping in the region.

Super clean, spacious rooms. Facilities were great and convenient. Mike was a fantastic host, alongside his dog Wookiee which made the experience that more enjoyable. Beautiful breakfast, accompanied by a gorgeous view of Waitangi and the bays. Don’t hesitate when booking!

They have it all!

We enjoyed the beautiful views, and the comfortable, clean, private room. We loved how the spa is conveniently situated just outside the ranch slider. The spa is protected and private but we still get to gaze at the view. The breakfast was very special, great variety and delicious. We chose the cooked breakfast after we finished the fruit, muesli and yogurt. We also enjoyed the fresh orange juice and plunger coffee. Mike was so helpful, informative and very good at making us feel welcome, especially at breakfast time.

Great experience!

Immaculate professional hospitality, designer breakfasts, excellent sea views. Spa is super clean. Taking care of all needs and support with tourism activities. Highly recommended as great accommodation- will return. Thanks Mike!

A beautiful place with spectacular views and amazing service provided by the host.

Mike was amazing! His service was excellent, we enjoyed the breakfast. Mike also provided us with some fantastic trip advice and maps for sight seeing spots & activities. We enjoyed our stay to the fullest! The location was amazing with blissful views from our front porch anytime of the day or night.

Spacious, quiet room with a lovely view

Mike is a great host, wonderful breakfasts, room service and all the local information. The bed is huge and comfortable, and the unit was absolutely spotless. Each time we came back from a day out it was like coming home. And then there was the Amazing view.... We had the upstairs room so could see it from our bed and the deck at breakfast - (which was the best I've ever had at a bnb!) . You should love your stay.
