Decepción

La calefacción.

Pague por una habitación superior y no había agua caliente y bombillas se apagaban y encendían y me cambiaron a otra habitación de inferior categoría pero pagando la de superior categoría. Las camareras del desayuno groseras y maleducadas.

Bad managing.

Only thing good about this hotel is the location.

I've been there a couple of times, with ups and downs. This time, I was having a nap and they moved a family to the room next door, which is connected by an inside door, which was luckily locked. However, I could hear all the banter and noise from the shower. I woke up and couldn't go back to sleep. I have a 5-hour journey every time I stay there, so I need to sleep to recover, that's the main reason I stay there. So, I had to cut my stay short and checked-out even without spending the night. Did they offer a discount? No. Maybe they're not allowed, but the least they could do was appologise. I'm not staying there again soon.

The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The room had no ventilation whatsoever. The air was very damp and windows were wet every morning. Also we had a view on the back wall of the next building.

The hotel was a good match for us in terms of location. We were able to visit all the sights by foot

The hotel was well situated between the historical area of the city and the commercial area so we could walk everywhere we wanted to go. The bed was very comfortable.

Our room was very dark and looked out into a space full of airconditioning units so we couldn't open the windows.

The staff was great. We speak limited Spanish (but do try very hard) and the staff was friendly and accommodating. There were no questions left unanswered and they went out of their way to ensure we had what we needed as well as some great suggestions for where to eat and what to see.

I would've liked a room with a better view...but I didn't pay for one, so there's that.

Great location, excellent value for money, easy access to main Avenue.

Great location, close to the main avenue, with access to many restaurants as well as essentials such as supermarket and buses etc.

Nothing we disliked other than a little bit smaller than some however more than enough room for 3.

There was a water bottle in the mini bar from the people who were before us. And they didn't take away even after we told the people in the front desk.

Overall, great stay! Location is excellent and the bed was comfy.

Tub required bottle cap to keep it from plugging. Small stains.

Breakfast was good. Inner city location. One wonderful lady on reception.

The restaurant was not working fully on the evenings I was there. I had trouble getting a drink at the bar as the person attending to such could not speak English. On the night I wanted to eat in the restaurant, the menu was very very limited & the food I eventually received was very dry. Reception staff not fully able to understand English.

Great location - very central Has a garage - not easy to find in Montevideo Decent size room

Mold on the walls & in the bathroom Sound insulation bad - can hear noise from the adjacent rooms The water in the fridge is not complimentary - charged $2.50 for a tiny bottle of water that cost 50c in a store - rip off

Location was great for what we were looking for

Pirce is really high for what the place is. The car for the bags was not working, elevators are very small, room outdated, very old, mattress and pillows are old too. Price not worth the place. This is a "pass by" hotel
