A beautiful light and airy apartment within walking distance of the beach. All the essentials were provided and also some nice little luxuries too that just added to the experience.
Cathy was very attentive and supportive through some extreme weather conditions, helping us to make the most of our stay.

Great location an easy walk to St Heliers beach and shops/bars etc. It was also very easy to get the bus into Auckland City centre. The host (who lives in the main house) was very helpful and encouraged us to use the fresh herbs and vegetables from the garden, which was a lovely bonus.
England women lost the Rugby World Cup final 🤦🏻♂️

The attitude and concern of Cathy made this an exceptional stay - it showed in the fantastic array of little treats (wine, chocolate, bacon, eggs, tomatoes, etc etc!) and her tolerance of unexpected guests and lengthy family gatherings.
No so much rain next time please

The hosts were welcoming and generous. The accommodation was spotless and large; we had everything we could want. We were also able to enjoy a large garden area outside the self-contained unit. Parking in the purpose built area was welcome. We couldn't have wished for more.
Nothing!

The perfect choice after a long flight or when you need a little peace in the city. Personally, after almost a day spent in the air and very intensive preparations for the trip, I needed peace like nothing else. And here you have it. The apartment itself is spacious and really harmoniously decorated and well equipped. The breakfasts (jaja, bekon, chleb, pomidory, mleko, jogurt..) are hearty and savory, so you won't be hungry for sure. The host, Mrs. Cathy is a very empathetic person who can see your needs. Really. It's not marketing!
I believe that some people may be disturbed by the location, some 20 minutes by car from the very center. But if you are looking for peace, you definitely don't think about the city center

Loved the location. They had breakfast for our first morning. Bacon, eggs, tomato and bread. Yoghurts, cereals milk, juice and wine. GREAT vaule for money especially in St Heliers. Cathy and Graham were lovely hosts. Would def stay again.
The only thing that would of made this place perfect for me would of been a A/C. But there was a fan which was good because it gets a warm in the apartment.

Breakfast was good, cereals for two days as the extra two individual packs were not suitable for our tastes.
Bacon and Eggs with cherry tomatoes was our final day breakfast and was really appreciated
Coffee and Tea on tap
Parking was on the street due to very steep driveway, but as the street was really only a side lane, we felt the car was secure.
Very dark walk from park on the street to the steps leading down to the apartment however and not good for persons insecure in their balance or footing

Having a cooked breakfast was great
