Overall, I had a great experience staying at The Clarion in Falls Church.

The staff was very pleasant and welcoming. The rooms were clean and maintained. I liked that the double bed rooms had two sinks. One inside the bathroom and one outside of the bathroom. This was a very convenient feature to have while traveling with several people. They offered a limited variety of breakfast choices, but just enough to satisfy any traveler looking to grab a quick bite before starting the day. The standard waffles, danish, muffins, eggs, sausage and potatoes were offered. There was supposed to be yogurt in the refrigerator, but apparently they ran out. Coffee, tea and juice were available.

This hotel had the best staff ever. Loved the stay!

The breakfast was nice. Better than continental! They had sausage and eggs or ham and eggs each morning. You could make waffle or toast or choose cereal. There was fruit and yogurt as well. Location was good for trips to Washington DC. They shuttle us by van to the metro and we rode i to DC that way. The shuttle to and from the metro was great. Shuttle ran from 7-11am i believe and then again from 5-9pm. The only thing I didn't like is that we were stuck in DC til 5 if we didn't come back before 11:am. However the staff was super helpful and if i had asked to come back early I think they would have tried to make that happen. You could also drive to east falls church metro and leave your car there for a small fee(around 5 dollars). They you could leave when you wanted. The hotel also let me check in earlier than the 3:pm check in since they had room available. This was super helpful since we got there from Alabama a lot earlier than we planned.

Would have been nice if shuttle was available for return earlier than 5 pm. We got tired and hot around 3pm the first day there.

El hotel es bello y cómodo. Más el descanso no fue posible

Las habitaciones son grandes comodas y limpiasy.. el comedor gigante y muy cómodo.

Al caminar por el pasillo hacia la habitación un fuerte olor a mariguana que para mi fue insoportable toda la noche . Y los huéspedes de la habitación continua pelearon de madrugada ... muy incómodo. Es muy lamentable porque teníamos que descansar para seguir nuestro viaje y no logré dormir .

Location is good and convenient, beds were comfortable.

The breakfast was on a small table compared to the size of the room and with the number of people coming to take their breakfast it was not organized enough

Great for the budget traveler!

The staff was so nice! This is a perfect fit for the budget business traveler. Walk to CVS and Ihop, easy getting around Northern Virginia by Uber and Metro.

Breakfast could have been a little better, but they friendly staff and Ihop right next door made up for it.

Comfortable.

Hotel room is sufficiently wide and clean for the business trip, and I enjoyed the dinner (Bolibia cuisine) owing to the kind support of restaurant/front clerk with smile. thank you for your hospitality.

Good value

The outside does not prepare you for the remodeled rooms. Lots of space in the main room. Staff was friendly and coffee was fresh.

The bathroom is very tight. The breakfast was meh.

They had no right to accept guests during renovation

I ended up cancelling my reservation when we got there

We cancelled when we arrived there. It smelled so bad in the lobby my asthma became intolerable. They were using some chemicals renovating and they should have closed during renovation. Very bad experience

Overall good

Hotel was OK although room needed refurbisment. Some mould was see on bath joint bath needed attentions including painting. Other wise things were well maintained old fashioned

I would stay there again.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean. There were multiple projects going on around the property which I was thinking should have been completed before the summer start but maybe couldn’t be avoided. I would have given a higher rating if that wasn’t the case but overall it was a good experience.

The pool area was in a disarray and multiple projects going on.

Great hot breakfast alternating sausage and bacon with many other choices like waffels, cereal fruit, muffins etc... Good coffee and juice as well.

Squeaky door needed some oil.
