Family had a great time staying in Cow Grass Lodge. Jacquie is a great host. The place is peaceful, warm, and super clean. I found good energy from the farm and we appreciate nature that we can't get from the city. It will be good that STAZY improves the notification outside the USA zone. This is the only minor complain I can say :)

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful property. The owners keep the property immaculate. The views are stunning and in the nicest possible way, the photos do not do the beauty of the property justice! We spent 3 nights and wished we were staying for longer, what a perfect spot, we will definitely be back.

Slice of heaven
We arrived late at night. Diana gave great instructions via email prior to leaving as the gps doesn’t always work for the last couple of turns. This is due to being in nature and surrounded by trees and rolling hills. I woke on the first morning to a cow looking at me from her paddock. Heaven. Had a coffee on the deck and could hear nothing but the occasional moo and bird song. The floor heating is amazingly efficient. Bare feet in the middle of winter. Beds comfortable and soft towels which I warmed on the towel rain. Great for a family getaway and will be coming back with my parents.

A wonderful oasis in the high country
Cowgrass is a gem of a house in Jamieson. We had an amazing stay, and were made to feel very welcome. We travelled with our toddler and the place was well equipped to handle it. The house had great facilities, was well equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery and condiments, and just a short walk from the most picturesque and private part of the Jamieson river. We look forward to returning next year

Absolutely breathtaking!
We had the luxury of staying at the magnificent 'Cowgrass Lodge' for 8 incredibly relaxing nights.
Our wonderful experience started when we first turned into the street. We were greeted with beautiful winding roads situated alongside the flowing Jamieson river. Continuing along we encounted lush green acerage and crossed over a creek. Reaching the 'Cowgrass Lodge' sign we entered along the driveway to arrive at our home for the next 9 days.
The property is set on magnificent green acres with the state forest as an extension to your backyard. With a wooden verandah wrapping around the whole house, it makes for many relaxing afternoons with a glass of wine taking in the views of surrounding mountains and forest.
The house itself is modern and nicely furnished. It was extremely clean and contained all the luxuries that one would expect at a 5 star hotel; Sheridan towels, welcome toiletries, heated towel rack and much more.
It was very accommodating for children as it includes a high chair and porta cot also.
The cows in the paddock were an added bonus for the kids who loved watching them!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the lodge and will be returning.

Excellent property
There was 7 of us staying, plenty of room to relax. The underfloor heating is fantastic, no real need to light the fire but you must have a fire going while you are lying on the couch reading and drinking wine!
Quality all through and a fantastic kitchen, everything you could want for cooking up a storm.

Cowgrass Lodge beautiful place
Three couples enjoyed Cowgrass Lodge fabulous views plus the beautiful cowes, and ducks with the kookuburras laughing at us a wonderful restful stay. The house was beautiful, clean, comfortable beds, couches, nice clean bathrooms and toilets. Great kitchen well equipped lots of plates, cultery etc and a full size fridge. It was really hot on our stay but with verandahs all around the house ceiling fans we were able to enjoy our holiday. The men went fishing daily, walks to the river were enjoyable. Spent the evenings outside in the cool enjoying our meals. Thank you for restful 5 nights Dec/Jan

Everything you hope for
Cowgrass Lodge is everything you hope for in a holiday house - and so much more. Lovely country home with verandah that runs right around the house. House is tiled, so nice and cool for summer, but has floor heating for winter.
We were there over Christmas & the days were very hot. But the house stayed cool - never felt stuffy or warm. Lounge room has floor-to-ceiling windows that slide open to allow the breeze in.
Main bedroom is roomy & has large king bed, ensuite and walk in robe. Other bedrooms are at other end of house - one room has queen bed, other has 2 single beds. Extra toilet and shower at that end too. The kitchen is great - plenty of room and bench space.
Great spot, a short (gravel road) drive from Jamieson, nestled among the mountains. Part of a 40 acre property (but house is on hill, fully enclosed by a fence). A bunch of cows wandered past the house each day. Also saw plenty of different kinds of birds. Hoped to see kangaroos, but no such luck.
Has everything you need - fully stocked. Only issue we had was Jamieson has no phone reception for those using Optus network. But Telstra works fine. No home phone there - but is public phone in town.
Loved it. Will definitely be back.
