About this cabin rental
You will just love this lakefront home nestled in the trees on the South Shore of Grand Lake. With the National Forest and National Park literally across the street, watch out for wildlife. Deer, Elk, Moose, Bears, Foxes, Geese and other birds, any of these animals could be found right outside! The lakefront is a short walk down from the cabin and includes a large grassy yard along the lake, something that is quite rare in Grand Lake. The shoreline is shallow and sandy with gradual depth, perfect for kids to play & swim in safety. The dock extends out for boats, with a water depth of about 4 or 5 feet at the end. This home includes a fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a study and a loft area, wireless Internet, a wood burning stove, and a gas fireplace. Adjacent to the kitchen & dining area is a screened-in porch with a dining or game table, the hot tub, and the gas chiminea. There is a large deck that runs on two sides of the home with a gas grill. The main living space is an open concept which combines the living room, dining room, and kitchen. The separate main floor lounge provides a space for kids or adults to watch TV or work in privacy. There is plenty of parking for trailers with boats or snowmobiles. With beautiful quality, a peaceful setting, national forest access, lake frontage, there's not much more you could want! Please call or inquiry to confirm availability and book early for summer dates.

Our stay at the lake house was fantastic. The location was perfect, offering breathtaking views. The house was immaculate and had everything needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The only minor drawback was the somewhat steep walk down to the lake. Overall, a wonderful experience!

We couldn't be happier with this property.
This was by far an away our best 4th of July ever!
Having our boat at the dock was big deal for us.
The home is the perfect mountain home. So roomy.
We want to rent again for the 4th of July of 2025>

Beautiful cabin with plenty of room and everything you need for an amazing vacation. It does have a main floor bedroom but the entry into the house has 14 stairs so if you have someone who struggles with stairs this might not work. The view is incredible and the hot tub room is the cherry on top. You won’t be disappointed.

The property mgmt company was great to work with and the property owner very nice in her texting and stopping by. What’s not really revealed about this property is the age and condition, in our opinion. The cabin is a cozy cute family cabin. It is, indeed, a steep walk to the lakefront, so we didn’t utilize it much. The property really needs some TLC with spiderwebs everywhere and missing stepping stones on the entry outside steps. There was nothing amiss about the property; it just wasn’t as wonderful as we expected bc of the maintenance and exterior cleaning that needs to be done. We’re giving a kind but honest review that will help future VRBOers

Great location and facilities. The weather was terrible, but we can't blame that on anyone. Still enjoyed our stay!

Our choice to stay at Jerico Lakefront Lodge was a solid one! Plenty of space to gather; the hot tub / screened porch with the chimenea the lake facing deck & the great room provided great space for hours of fun. Plenty of space to relax; master bedroom and attached den on the main floor + the spacious pair of bedrooms upstairs and loft were also appreciated. The large mudroom off the garage also was also handy. We really look forward to returning to this well kept home.

We so enjoyed the cabin on Grand Lake. Very spacious with such an amazing view from the deck. Short walk down to the water/dock. As it was still May, the hot tub was well used after a day on our kayaks. We will not hesitate to return to this property.

Beautiful view from living room and balcony. You can sit there all day to relax and not get bored. Very nice and quiet neighborhood. We loved every moment of our stay here. Will definitely recommend this beautiful and cozy house. Some spider webs throughout the house mostly close to the ceilings but hey we choose to stay close to nature and loved it. Thank you to the owners and management for letting us stay here and enjoy our family moments.

We came up for a quick trip to the mountains. Strategically located close to RMNP, we thoroughly enjoyed the property. The house was clean, and a steep, short walk to the water was a good source of entertainment for the kids. It was a nice, quiet getaway. 4 kids, in-laws, and myself and my wife were very comfortable here. There were markets and various stored conveniently located nearby. Highly recommend for those trying to get away from the rat race.

Beautiful Views
The house was beautiful with great views. Loved the hummingbirds, we enjoyed our stay we will be back. Where we had to take the trash was very inconvenient and the dumpsters were full not fun.

Beautiful location
The house sits on a portion of the lake with beautiful views! There is a pretty steep walk from the house to the lake. The house was perfect for our family. Room to spread out and be together. Unfortunately, the main refrigerator did not work during part of our stay. The basement refrigerator was pretty full. We were also taken aback that guests were requested to drop trash at the city dump. I discussed these issues with the manager

Loved the location
The location is why we rented this property. Great access to Rocky Mountain national Park. Close to downtown and dining. We rented a boat on shadow Mountain and were able to go back-and-forth between the two lakes!!

Perfect location!
Wonderful house, waterfront just down a beautiful path, great hike steps away from front door. Extremely relaxing. LOVED the screened porch, spent most of our time out there eating, playing games, or in the hot tub.

Great location
The home overall is nice although it could use some updating. The outdoor space is difficult to enjoy due to the uncomfortable and outdated furnishings. Also, the amount of personal items in the home make it a bit uncomfortable, most homes we've booked previously do not have as much personal items in the home. The location is terrific, close to town and trails but private. There was some construction going on next door that was a bit noisy.

Wonderful spot
overall it was a nice property and really enjoyed the shade at the waterfront. I don't think we could ask for anything else. Good location and plenty to do and see.

What a privilege to stay at a waterfront property at Grand Lake!
First of all, we are Colorado residents who frequent this area (almost every year). My coworker/friend has a cabin on the lake since the 70's so we can tell you it's absolutely a treat to stay in a lakefront cabin on Grand Lake. This home is one of the very few that is true lakefront (has beach and boat dock) on Grand Lake that is for rent. So we absolutely consider us lucky to be able to stay here. This cabin is relatively newer, the log construction is very impressive. The whole family loves the hot tub screened porch. What a nice setup there. And the towel supply is abundant. The washer and dryer are very handy too. The owners family probably frequent this cabin quite a bit so they leave many helpful and useful things and supplies behind. Stuff we normally forget to pack but are well stocked in the house, which makes our lives so much easier. There is a full size sit in kayak and 2,3 kiddie kayaks by the dock which we took advantage of. We brought our own SUPs as well. If you plan on exploring both lakes, rent from Trail Ridge Marina on Shadow Mountain lake. Don't rent in Grand lake town cuz they don't have permit to go to Shadow mountain lake. We actually made our daily routine to kayak/boat cross the lake to town to get lunch and ice cream. Made the kids to earn their treats lol. What a wonderful memory we have built together here. Everyone voted to come back here the next year again. Thank you for making this home available for us to stay!

Pictures do not do this property justice
We were very pleasantly surprised that this home was so much nicer than the pictures! That deck!!! You'll look over the tree tops to the tranquility of the lake and mountains off in the distance and get lost in time. The kitchen and living room are one big open space vaulting to the 2nd floor with a big, efficient ceiling fan (remote control), which encourages socializing. Cool evening breezes through open windows (all have screens) encourage a deep, restful sleep. The hot tub room is big and open on two sides with window screens so it is not hot and stuffy. The walk to the lake is via stone steps through brush, so a little more distant than we originally thought, but on our first day we witnessed a bull moose in the lake walking at the end of the dock. That night, deer were gathered in the driveway. I've been to Grand Lake many times, but this is the most peaceful location I have ever visited. Off the beaten path, yet there IS a hiking trail accessible with a few hundred yards of the front door. You'll love it!

Lovely short getaway
We stayed at this property over spring break in late March to get out of our own house for a while. My husband enjoyed their expansive book collection and read up on Colorado history and geology - even started Shogun (which he had to purchase on his Kindle to finish). My teen loved the hot tub and having a bedroom with an attached bathroom. We cooked most every meal in the well stocked kitchen and played lots of games at the kitchen table. Recommend Drive-by-Pie in Granby for homemade pies of all varieties (Sherry also has a catering menu). There are trails nearby for hiking - even in the winter months.
The only downside was the room next to the master bedroom smelled strongly of diesel fuel from the boat that is stored in the garage (I'm a little sensitive to smells). That being said, it would not keep me from renting this comfy home again.

Exactly What We Needed
My family really enjoyed our stay. A great balance of things to do and nothing to do. The house is great, and the lake and dock are access are perfect for unwinding and just enjoying a cup of coffee. Love the town, great food and shopping. We will be back!

Awesome Lakeside Stay in Grand Lake
Beautiful lakeside cabin. Wonderful views off the deck. The owner leaving their family's pictures make it feel like your staying in your own home. The kitchen has anything and everything you need to prepare your meals. Having a dock to park our boat at was a bonus. Just go out in the morning, hop on and go fishing. We loved this home and you will too.

We had a wonderful 4th of July getaway on the lake! We rented a boat and spent the day on the lake. Having access to the dock was a big plus! We enjoyed several hikes, fishing, dinner in town, s’mores at the fire pit, the indoor hot tub, and admiring the many hummingbirds. The location is amazing!

Fantastic Location
Great house on a prime spot on the lake. Frontage on lake is perfect to relax and take in scenery. Fire pit is great spot to make S’mores in the evening. Saw a moose on the property two days in a row.
House is very functional and hot tub is a plus coming out of the cold waters of the lake. Close to town and everything you need. I will definitely be looking to come back!
