The staff is amazing, friendly and helpful. They are always ready to try and make your stay better. The location is fantastic! There’s a supermarket downstairs and lots of restaurants and bars nearby. You can walk to the V&A with a view to the ocean and sunsets are amazing.

We were put in a room smaller than the one we had booked, had to ask for furniture and when it rained that was leak of dirty water inside the room. We had to pile up towels to contain it.

We had a very warm welcome by the staff Cedric and Co. Only thing a bit disappointing was struggling to find parking as it is the same parking used by shoppers etc. Other than that it was great. Thanks once again 👍🙏

A pleasant stay & shall certainly book for my next visit.

Newkings situated in a most convenient location. Room spacious & comfortable. Staff extremely pleasant . Good value. Highly recommended.

Had a side room which was cold - no sun ( when it appeared) - heating provided by unit inadequate .

Very good

It was a very large room with a very comfortable bed. The open bathroom is tiny, but as there is a separate toilet, it works fine.

The hotel is in a shopping center with Woolworths and other shops. Felt very awkward.

A great stay, fantastic hotel in an incredible location. 100% will stay again!

Staff were incredibly friendly and professional. Room was clean and well laid out. All amenities I needed were provided. I thought the issues created by load shedding were well managed by the staff under the circumstances. The convenience of having retail shops and restaurants so close to the hotel is a significant added bonus.

My issues were largely outside of the immediate control of the hotel to be fair. Load shedding meant generators had to run, which were very noisy. During load shedding air conditioners could not run which was not great - but, as I say, this is a function of load shedding and was certainly not anything the staff of the hotel could've done anything else about.
