View is amazing, Eddie the host is very hospitable and helpful. I recommend this place and would come back.

The view.
It was not worth the money at all. Things in the room were falling apart/ broken, the air con barely worked had to get the staff and the filter was blocked, doors broken, wifi constantly on and off and had about 2 minutes of hot water in the showers. When told all this to the manger Eddy he handled it well but the woman Elena didn’t. She was extremely rude and dismissive to us on the phone. We had to fight for 300 euro back as we were so disappointed. She then cancelled our booking to make sure we couldn’t leave a bad review.

amazing view of the calderia and oia. Sunset guarantee every night (except when cloudy obviously). Imerovigli is a great spot for great views and a sunset!!
The hotel is also located on the walking path to Oia, took us 1h30-45 to get to Oia and about 20-25min to get to center Fira. There is a supermarket 5min away from the hotel.
Eddie who is the manager there, makes sure you have transportation to & from the hotel, helped us book a buggy/quad for us. he also let do a late check out since our ferry left later in the day! He is Always available on his phone/whats app
We also had a huge breakfast every day for 15-18 euro, worth every bit
we would definitely come back here when coming back to santorini

We loved the patio onto the caldera and the size of the room. Staff was nice and friendly!
Our room led right onto the public path so more privacy would’ve been nice. But we noticed this was common for a lot of hotels in Santorini.

Amazing Views. Clean Room. Great Service. The trail that runs from Fira to Oia runs right in between the hotel. Takes about 2 hours walking to get to Oia, and about 30 mins walking to Fira. Great location for Sunsets.
One of the rooms hot heater was broken/not working. Otherwise, great rooms!

The view is amazing, the location (not too busy of area but close enough to town), and the staff.

Afroessa is one of the original Imerovigli cave hotels and offers the best sunset views. As a premises it offers all the amenities including a lovely pool. But above all the team leads the rating of Afroessa. Edi is a real pro and always happy to help. He is so professional and brings organisation to your stay (but always with a nice sense of humour). Not surprisingly his leadership is reflected in the entire crew with everyone delighted to exchange pleasantries, offer advice and have a laugh.
Afroessa could do with a bit of a make-good, finishes, etc. I'm sorry if this seems picky! 300 Euro a night is also a bit steep - but in comparison to its peers, Afroessa is much better value.

The hotel in Imorevigli felt intimate, the view was amazing and Eddie was amazingly nice. The room was spacious.
Not much. Think about asking Eddie for local recommendations, we had a blast!

All the employees here were friendly and helpful. The view upon arrival is literally breathtaking. Check-in was smooth and we were really happy with our rooms. The housekeepers were discreet and we would always come back to a neat and tidy room with fresh towels and replenished toiletries. The location was great as well.
I didn't meet the manager, but my mom did and she said she wasn't very pleasant. I think the management could be better in terms of friendliness, trustworthiness and hospitality.
It would be nice if the complimentary coffee/tea/water bottles in the room could be replenished daily.

Loved the location was absolutely perfect. The rooms were good size with a very comfortable bed.
The bathroom was dark and dated with little ventilation.

Clean, staff very nice & helpful. Good shower, comfy bed. Decent size pool, well kept
Room 11 had beautiful balcony view & was secluded but was over 120 steps from street level. Good cardio workout!

Brilliant location, stunning view, quieter area of the Caldera, but also close to restaurants. Situated on the walking path to Oria. lovely size pool and view. All Staff excellent and and very helpful.
too many steps but in fairness if you want the view and be on the Caldera you have to have to pay the price ….certainly with it.

View is outstanding, as is the ambiance of the hotel.
Little extras—an iron, a discrete clothes hanger on the patio for hand washing/swimsuits.
Staff was extra helpful with directions, holding luggage, communication with our car rental people, running some laundry, last minute breakfast request. We felt quite welcomed and comfortable.
Somewhere to hang the shower head is needed. Bathroom reno was brand new, so perhaps this was a bullet list item? One of our party felt room was too small (bed against wall), but there are larger rooms available, and we paid quite a reasonable price for Santorini for the room we booked.

You will not get a better view than the one from this hotel, it is amazing. The staff is incredible. The hot tub was more than perfect.
There are supermarkets walking distance
The breakfast is super tasty
Nothing to do to the hotel: the cold! We went in April and it was very cold in the nights. Of course the heater installed helped but we were not expecting to be cold in Greece!

The location is magnificent with a view on the Caldera, really amazing, astonishing.
The hot tub infected with a bacteria, so my wife caught a skin bacterial infection (breast, upper and lower back) during our honeymoon which was alarming and sad.
So we only use the hot tub once instead of using it the whole stay. The staff gave us directly medicine for the bacterial infection as if it is common and were prepared for it but they refused to give us a discount because of this alarming accident since the hot tub was infected!

The best thing about the property was its staff. The woman who does the cleaning was kind enough to do a load of laundry for me since I was traveling for a few months. Edi, the on-site manager, was warm, responsive, accommodating, and kind. He really went out of his way to make sure I had everything I needed so that my stay was comfortable and I was content. The property itself is lovely albeit a bit outdated. I loved the location and having my own hot tub. The views were amazing, the breakfast was wonderful, the room itself felt private and cozy, and I really couldn’t have asked for a better location. I loved being in Imerovigli rather than Fira or Oia; it was quiet but a short walk to Fira. It was perfect for my needs. There was great food within walking distance, and Edi was very helpful with recommendations.
The shower could use an update and the water didn’t stay hot for long, though it was enough for a quick shower. Santorini is an expensive place to visit, so I can’t speak to whether the hotel was reasonably priced or not. But this hotel is great if you think of it as a basic accommodation for beach/island living; it’s not fancy. As such, it felt more expensive than I would have liked for what it was. But that might just be Santorini…

This hotel has the very view you dream of for a Santorini trip. Right from our room, we were able to sit on our balcony and take in dreamy blue Caldera views and watch the sunset. You could also see Oia, and our room sat right on the path between Oia and Fira. This meant we could also partake in some enjoyable people watching. There are some lovely restaurants within walking distance of the hotel, and it’s also an easy base from which to explore Santorini via bus or rental car. Bed was super comfy too!
Room is small for the price, but worth it for the Caldera view. Parking can be tricky on the surrounding tight streets which is normal for Santorini, but we got the hang of it and never had much trouble finding a spot.

The view and the locations
Breakfast was a bit limiting. Would have preferred other options but would the view and location made up for this.
