Goede sfeer, vriendelijk personeel en restaurant met goed IJslands eten. Niet goedkoop maar dat is normaal voor IJsland. Fijne jacuzzi. Goed ontbijt.
De badkamer is wat klein.

Excellent dinner, great breakfast. Water boiler in the room was nice for that cup of tea at night. Excellent location to see the northern lights. A short drive to the 2nd highest falls of Iceland, which are lit up at night.

If its advertised and you go there because of certain facilities which can't be provided then there should be some compensation.

We stayed in a Beautifully appointed room with a comfortable bed and all necessities to make us feel comfortable. The bathrobes and mini chocolates were a nice touch. Breakfast was plentiful with a good variety of traditional Icelandic and continental fare.
Rooms located on upper floors are accessed via wooden stairs which may be difficult for guests with large bags

Great breakfast! and very spacious rooms. There was a full kitchen in our apartment that we didn't use but it was appreciated. The shower was great.
The only small hiccup was that the power went away for a few hours.

Breakfast was nice, rooms were clean
The room was very small for 4 adults, the fold out bed was very uncomfortable. Some kitchen utensils were missing.

We found the hotel welcoming and cozy, restaurant was also very nice and we loved the food. We used the outside hot tubs and they were a wonder of relaxation with all the storm around us.

The restaurant experience and food were the best of our entire trip, we were welcomed and discussed wanting to see the northern lights. While at dinner the chef came and told us that the lights were active (unfortunately not for long) and that he would keep our food warm while we went out, we then got a knock on a hotel door approx. 30mins after leaving the restaurant and it was the chef again prompted the lights (PS. we got engaged under them)!
We appreciated the attentiveness and going that extra mile to make sure we enjoyed our stay.
The rooms are 'old fashioned' but not uncomfortable just personal preference on style.

Nice hotel tucked away in a small valley. We had a very good dinner in the restaurant. Had a hot tub on the premises but it was raining so we didn't try it out. Good breakfast.

It is a heritage protected 100 yrs old property.
Has the rustic and cozy vibe.
It also has an outdoor 24×7 hot tub, which is an amazing thing to do .
