The location is very good. You can walk easily to the main attractions in town. The public transportation is very near. Breakfast is overpriced but good selection and good service.
The rooms are definitely overpriced for what you get. Beds are good, but the sofa, chair and cushions in our deluxe room looked depressing and outdated. Cheep fabrics. Very last century.
The Nespresso coffee machine was broken, however, was fixed quickly after we reported it.
The wellness area is underwhelming, far from luxury. There are three rather small saunas with as many showers. What is advertised as a swimming pool or jacuzzi is rather a big bath and there are only three recliners. At the time when we were there (after 7pm), there was no drinking water left in a water container and a sink full of used glasses. Did not see any staff.

The hotel was exceptional, i couldn't have chosen a better hotel in Vienna. From being greeted by the lobby staff each day, to relaxing in the lobby listening to the pianist, it was without a doubt one of the best hotels i have stayed in.
Within the stay was breakfast each day, which was faultless with extensive tasty options and champagne which is always a bonus. The room was incredible, with lots of room to move around, heated bathroom floor and speakers, free mini bar, also, i liked the fact that the TV's were screen mirroring meaning i could watch programmes off my phone and that's just some of what the room includes. The spa and fitness facilities were exceptional too, also i found them to be quiet meaning i had the spa to myself on occasions. The hotel itself is around 10 mins in a Uber, to the centre hot spots. I found Uber much
better then the general taxis though, as it appeared the taxis outside the hotel do try to rip you off!
Lastly, the hotel was very disabled friendly. I took the trip with my dad who uses a mobility scooter, and he got around without any issues as the floors were all flat, with a ramp up to the restaurant.
If you are hesitating booking this hotel, don't. You wont regret it.
The staff are all so very helpful and the hotel itself if impeccable.
The only negative i can say, is at times the baristas in the lobby area could be slow at serving and issuing bills. However when prompting they were courteous.

Gorgeous and large room, beautiful lobby with live piano music at night and great breakfast!
It wasn’t exactly in a great location for walking around…we had to taxi mostly.

Service level in lobby should be at a higher level.
We needed to ask 3 times for our room to be cleaned, this is not what we expect from Kempinsky.
A bit more focus on guests would be welcome

everything is perfect: room, breackfast, location, facilities . Amazing hotel !
I did not like the stuff. They are not professional . Front desk indian team and chinese has a good attitude but they are so slow and unprofessional. You wait to much to checkin and checkout and a lot of problems may occur. The indian girl from the bar is more concerned to not bring drinks or water in the smoking lounge instead of paying attention to bring you exactly the drinks you ordered. Her attitude is more like a guardian instead of a waitress The hotel manager I thing shoud change the team or change himself. It's a pitty that a such an amazing hotel to be left is wrong hands. Too bad.

Spacious, clean, comfortable bed and pillows, clean linens and first class towels. The breakfasts were wonderful. The room had a drip coffee machine, but the coffee, unfortunately, was not good.
I would like to mention the work of concierge Miroslav.
I have never met a more attentive and professional concierge. I was impressed with Miroslav's professionalism and friendliness. He was always willing to help us with any questions and queries we had. Miroslav was very attentive to our needs and always tried to find the best solution for us and take care about successful executions. We were able to book concert tickets, restaurant reservations and more. We were impressed with the quick response and efficiency of concierge Miroslav. He was always ready to respond to our inquiries and solve problems as quickly as possible. Miroslav was as polite as possible and tried to make our stay at the hotel unforgettable!
Overall, I would like to say that the staff at the hotel was friendly and helpful from the doorman at the entrance to the service in the restaurant. They did everything they could for our comfort.
I would also recommend a visit to the Michelin restaurant Edvard. This was our 3rd Michelin restaurant and it exceeded our expectations. The staff was so attentive to clarify not only our preferences but also possible allergies. The food was great and perfect in its taste. I would gladly recommend restaurant Edvard.
1. At check-in only one reception desk was working and there was a queue. After a long drive it was unpleasant to wait more than 20 minutes.
2. At the first cleaning they left the coffee cup not washed, did not add cosmetic items (cotton pads, ear buds, sanitary bag), shampoo and shower gel. After a comment at the reception there were no more questions about cleaning, everything was enough.
3. There were only 2 bottles of water for 3 people. The situation was also resolved after contacting the reception.
4. The most unpleasant moment was to see in the lobby the mobsters as if from the 90's (so-called "bratki") in tracksuits and strange behavior. Watching them for a few days in a row, it was clear that they were "security" for some of the russian guests of the hotel. The three guys were constantly looking at the guests in the lobby and sometimes made movements imitating a punch. After that the desire to spend a couple of hours in the lobby with a glass of Prosecco was gone, because there was no sense of comfort. It was unexpected to see such characters in a hotel of this level.

cleanness of the facility is bellow expectation. more effort is required specially on room cleaning on daily basis.

location was very good. concierge staff excellent. EDVARD food was excellent.
was supposed to have electric car charging, it did not work and we had to go to charge in a street charger nearby. the room was not great. needed a serious renovation. table was broken, curtain was hanging down, bed was like a brick and the pillows we awful , view was terrible. very over priced. as for the Michelin Star restaurant EDVARD. We arrived and there was no one to greet us. we waited 5 minutes for someone to turn up and escort us to our table. they served Luke warm water and when we asked for ice, it was served in a tarnished silver ice bucket that really needed a clean. I asked what type of deer the venison was and was told it was “a happy deer”. the staff clearly never knew the different types of deer. eg red deer, roe deer, Sikka etc. a Michelin star restaurant should know what they serve.

good location
The pool was not open as being repaired. This was not communicated to us before our stay. Very disappointing, bordering on deceitful, as this was one of the reasons we chose the hotel.
Also very understaffed, both for cleaning staff (we had to ask 4 times for clean towels to be brought to the room), and in the bar/restaurant area. Multiple times in only 3 days in the hotel we had to chase up orders for coffee, drinks etc. I felt sorry for the staff as the hotel had clearly tried to cut costs by understaffing, and all staff were overstretched. A very bad experience as a customer to a supposedly high end hotel.
If returning to Vienna, we would never return to this hotel.
