La amplitud de los espacios
Que la luz del cuarto principal es muy baja, estaría bien tener una luz más intensa como opción.

Nothing.
Photos on Booking did NOT match the old, dark, out-of-date, depressing room.
Photos show a peaceful sanctuary. NOT! Several dogs in rooms yapping all the time (woke me up daily at 7), yet there’s a “no pet policy”. Kids ran the place to the point that I couldn’t sit on my own patio since they were always on my furniture.
I begged concierge to let me cancel, but the said “you used an agency instead of booking directly with us, so we can’t help you”. I called Booking. O help. They said they would email reception. It was so bad that I left a day early to stay at an airport hotel to, ironically, get some peace and quiet. I asked one more time for a refund. The same receptionist shut me down. Horrible room, horrible noise with kids yelling in pool all day, horrible dogs yapping, horrible customer service from hotel and Booking. I’ll post a pic of the actual living room. You’ll see it does not match the image on Booking with vaulted ceilings, classy sofas, light/cheery space.

Big room, nice ambiance
Almost 0 ability to use the kitchen. Beautiful commercial gas stove, but the gas off and no pans. Wonderful oven, no pan. Shower head sucked, flooded the bathroom.
4.2
a lot of greenery
it needs to be dated, the area around the pool had not been cleaned. some areas looks abandoned & the rooms are to dark & need to be decorated

my first time visiting aijijic and fell in love with the area. I loved the large villa with it’s old Mexican style brick, wood ceilings and Mexican tile floor. pool was perfect after spending day at malecón. staff was friendly and amazing.
internet was a little tricky and when it did work very slow but that might be for area as whole not just specific to hotel

We booked an apartment for four. It had a very ample space, private backyard and quiet ambience. It gave kind of an old grandma house vibes. Great pool, kind staff and delicious breakfast.
The grass in the backyard was in poor condition, kitchen utensils were very poor and no soap to clean dishes. But the pros easily outweighs these small cons.
4.2
The location was great for my purposes.
The floors were a little dirty, and there was no hot water most of the time
4.2
The breakfast was wonderful and the staff very courteous.
That there is no food provided other than breakfast, not even a little convenience store for snacks or beverages. Having more food and even a bar would have been a huge plus at the hotel.
4.2
This hotel exceeded my expectations. It is a beautiful hacienda style building over a large area - very traditional. The breakfast was either a buffet some days, or made to order others (unclear why different on different days). The buffet was decent, but the made to order breakfast was fantastic. There is a good sized pool and extensive grounds to relax and sunbathe. The room was absolutely huge! We really enjoyed our stay here and we would recommend and stay here again.
The location is a little out of town - about 30 min walk. However it benefits of this place outweigh this minor inconvenience.

Property is huge ! love the scenery and the spacious villa.

The lush grounds are spacious, immaculate, and beautiful. The staff are helpful and pleasant. The breakfast menu has both Mexican and American choices. The two bedroom unit we stayed in was very spacious and clean. Nice stove and refrigerator in the kitchen.
Three of us were staying in a unit where four or five could sleep. However, the kitchen was the least well supplied of any place I have ever stayed. They were two glasses, 3 cups, four plates, silverware for less than four people and a total of five utensils. There were two huge pots, and that was it. there was no dish soap, dish cloth, or dish towel in the kitchen. If you want to eat out the whole time that is fine, but then, why have a kitchen? There is no microwave, which, would be very helpful for reheating, leftovers or takeout. I have included photos of the living room area, the total contents of the kitchen pantry, and the lovely outside.

Overall feel inside the facilities, gardens are really nice,
Rooms are a bit dark.

The seven grandchildren had a great time with the large Villa
We were a family of 14 and 11 stayed at your hotel, the other 3 of us wanted to join them and pay for breakfast and we were not allowed.

The grounds of this property were amazing. It was more than a hotel. Our “room “ was more like a very large one bed apartment.
The pool is beautiful…and heated.
Our room was quite dark and poorly lit. You better be prepared to walk a lot and walk a lot of stairs as it is quite spread out and on several levels.

Wonderful accomodations!
Nothing.

The location of the complex itself was good.. At some time in the past, the complex was probably first rate. Loved the breakfadt in the morning. Chose from a menu of about 7 or 8 items. Staff was nice although didnt speak any English (fine, we ARE in their country). Thank God for Google Translate.
Our room was dark, dingy and very rustic. Lighting was medieval. No heat in the room. Extra blanket was brought for us. The pictures were amazing. Not at all like the pictures
4.2
The ambiance, the grounds, the architecture, the traditional style.
The room was huge! Lots of space for our family.
The pool was ice-cold.
The bed was horribly uncomfortable.
4.2
Beautiful property, good location, great amenities. Very friendly staff.
Our suite was sooo big - no need for this much space, but not a problem.

Good location a bit further away from the center of Ajijic. One bedroom villas are spacious.
We booked a one bedroom villa. What we got was a dark, dreary, cold suite in the bottom of the building. It felt like we had been banished to the dungeon or a prison. The suite was nothing like the photos they post for one bedroom villas. It was minimally furnished in old, uncomfortable furniture. The lighting was very poor, which added to the dungeon-like feel. Shortly after check in we reported to them that both the fridge and stove/oven were not working. They replaced the fridge but did nothing with the stove so we couldn’t use it at all during our stay and there was no microwave either. The suite was minimally supplied for kitchen necessities (cutlery, plates, glasses, etc) even if we had been able to use the kitchen. The hotel advertises as not accepting pets yet we had to listen to a dog barking in a nearby suite most of the day. We left and moved on after two uncomfortable and cold nights.

Really cool property. Used to be a condo building so the rooms are HUGE! Adorable cats everywhere. Lush grounds.
I booked a one bedroom suite because the description said it fit 4 people, however when we checked in it only had one bed, and the couches were nowhere big enough for our kids to sleep on. We had to upgrade to a larger
room, which was lovely, but came at significant additional cost.

the place is beautiful overall! Walking distance to shops and nice places around Ajijic.
everything was beautiful

The Villas were very large and comfortable.

Nice location
very dirty and very old facilities tv signal very poor . light bulbs on lamp not working and lamp broken could cause an accident , water in toilet leaking and very little water coming of the shower. Breakfast very limited. not happy at all. My rate is about 0-1

Everything was great but breakfast
Breakfast was cold
4.2
Absolutely nothing. It was horrible.
The room was dirty. Not as described. No balcony. I was given a basement room in the back. It is a huge old building. It was dirty. The kitchen was not fully equipped. There was not a plate, fork or spoon anywhere to be found. I had to eat the salad I had delivered with my fingers. It was a huge apartment and dirty. The floors had not even been swept. The bathroom was all chipped and stained. The hotel advertises English and Spanish. No one spoke English. The hotel said they would adjust my rate when I arrived because I would be checking out before breakfast. They refused. I had to yell 3 times to the night guard to let me out the next morning as he was sound asleep on a sofa in reception and all of the gates were locked. The hotel advertises they have room service for snacks. They do not. There was not one bit of truth in the hotel's ads. The receptionist was clueless. And not helpful at all. Based on the hotel's description, it is absolutely the worst place I have ever stayed. The price, for that part of Mexico, it should have been 5 star. It was minus 5 - below zero. I did not get what I paid for.
